You are far more articulate than you think honestly; your way of portraying ideas, specifically when you go in depth about the different perspectives of reading, is very profound for only four or so months of reading. Keep it up bro, its nice to see someone actually have true passion for reading now, not just mass-producing videos for money/views.

Books are basically the internet before the internet. you can read peoples ideas, opinions, hopes, dreams, ramblings, social theories etc etc from the last 2000 years

Your mom and dad are active readers... Your aunt is a poet... I knew your sharpness for art didn't come out of nowhere, i imagine i'd be soo cool growing up in such environment, and even though you just started reading, you have such an articulated way of voicing your ideas! I've been reading for like three years now and cant share thoughts so clearly like you do. You are an inspiration!

This is fantastic. You're obviously a passionate, thoughtful and articulate person. Your reading journey will serve you well. I'm 53 now, and have always been a reader, despite growing up in a household of non-readers. I read throughout grade school, high school and university, and never stopped afterwards. I recently was 'downsized' from a position I held for 30+ years, and one of the few things that keeps me hanging on is my daily reading. I honestly can't imagine not reading. I look forward to hearing more about your reading journey; what you're reading, and how it's changing you. Cheers. p.s. Philosophy Degree here. Rare to hear someone on Kierkegaard. That's heavy material. Bravo.

I’m still trying to get back into reading after starting my 9-5 last year. This video really gave me the courage to keep up with my goal, even if it’s a paragraph or five pages. I love reading, and I really don’t want to lost that love for it completely!!!

My nephews and nieces were complaining because there was an Internet outage a couple years back. I had to introduce them to stephen kings “misery”. A good book library, film and music collection is all you need. Physical copies.

I love that finding Brady’s content had such an impact on you and your reading journey. I hope he starts posting on UA-cam because I just deleted TikTok haha
Anyways, your passion is palpable!! That’s what keeps me coming back every single time.
I hope your videos end up inspiring others to read more. If anyones reading this, get a library card! It may seem like reading is an expensive hobby but it doesn’t have to be! 💛

Just found your channel today and had to watch all your videos. It’s meant a lot to hear that the bell jar meant so much to you as it’s often discredited to only being for ‘sad teenage girls’
I really recommend you read cormac mccarthy if you haven’t already, for his subjects on fate, religion, and overall bleak atmosphere.

Dorian Gray is ah-making~ (what did you think of chapter 11, that was a little bit of a drag if I remember). I suggest Crime and Punishment next, or We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. Currently I’m into Japanese and Korean novellas. I love your passion of reading!!

I was a huge reader when I was younger, but by the end of middle school and definitely through high school, school itself really took a hit to my passion for it, and I've been trying to regain that passion for the past few years. I'll read a book or three a year, but I really want to get back into how I was before, getting so involved and finishing books in a day or so. One that really moved me recently was Song of Solomon, I felt very changed after reading... Also Annihilation did the same. Life often gets in the way, being busy with work or school or family and all that, but it's worth it to carve out a little time for yourself to immerse yourself in a book. Your passion is palpable, I can hear and feel it through the screen. Love it, let's all try our best to become better readers

I saw in your first video that you loved "sad" books with themes of loneliness and alienation. I think No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai is a perfect book for you. I definitely need to warn you that there are very drak/serious themes and events that happen in the story but i think you will love the book. Its a fictional story but its kind of an autobigaraphy because it is based on Osamu Dazais own life. Also keep up the great work i love your vids

Reading is the bare minimum, you literally need the basic fundamentals of reading to live in this world. If you have to force people to read or do the bare minimum like using their brain, it’s just not there.
