Can I make a suggestion that may help you... Instead of blow drying your hair and then using the hot comb later, let your hair air dry completely, then use the hot comb method. Let me know if this works for you 😊
That's the kind of pressed hair I grew up getting those hard pressings with the pressing grease/oil. Im trying to find somebody who knows how to do it & can get all my Knicks and crannies the way my og hairstylist use to do. It was so straight and silky but it wasn't light it was a good thick press.

You can buy a marcel oven at Sally’s beauty supply and for go an actual oven😊 also make sure you get a really good blowdryer comb combo and get right at the new growth and make sure you have good tension on the section of hair as you blow dry, I love to use Mizani Rose H2O when I blow dry😃 Your hair is amazing luv!
You took me back but my mom used Glossitna or apex hair gloss and air drying cause a blow dryer and a hot comb is too much heat . But liked your video this is a lost art

Good question! I'm sure a hot comb can be used on Caucasian/White hair. I'd say use low heat, since modern hair straighteners heat settings are of course different than how a hotcomb is heated. Thanks for watching! ❤
Use low heat setting. Use a protective heat spray. Use coconut oil or hot comb pressing oil beforehand. Keep your hair moisturized as much as possible. Don't use hotcombs daily, just once in a blue moon. Hope this helps! 👍❤
@@LifeWithBerylanne I used a relaxer on my hair when I was 11 and it ruined my hair. I never used it again. So I’m going to stick to hot comb! How do I clean my hot combs?
Oh my! 😱 I finally relaxed my hair since high school, little over 10 years ago! It took a lot of thinking and patience but turned out well! 😊 Maybe soak the hotcomb in hot water and use a scrubber. (Soap pad like Brillo or SOS pad). Or a light degreaser spray that removes grease and gunk. Let it air dry. Hope this helps! ❤
