Glasgow cross new year chimes

Every new year at midnight the carillon chimes in the clock tower at Glasgow cross play a selection of Scottish tunes to bring in the new year. A carillon is a set of bells that are rung by striking a series of wires, with a hammer, that are attached to the bells at the top of the tower. Sure to bring a tear to the eye of any homesick Scotsmen or women around the world.
