the one piece of non-modular: a CPU-less MC202 controlled with Kenton CV inputs. It runs into a WMD Geiger Counter, MakeNoise EchoPhon, and Eventide DDL delay.
There is individual compression on several of the drums but there is no compression on the synths, no sidechaining. :) Just timing of the bass notes and use of a bit of attack.
@@renkucorporation7263 I am seriously impressed by your ability to wrangle a rig of this size. I have 4/500 hp and doubling that would be too much for me, what you've got looks like thousands of HP. And you might even be using 1k+ in this patch...Is it just a matter of experience that you don't get confused about what's going where halfway through?
@@augenbaum-iz8fl TBH this patch is on the smaller/medium side but usually I will have a pad of paper that I number corresponding to my mutes (16) and write a rough chain of what's being controlled by that mute or by other submixes. A lot of it is experience; I've had a big system for nearly 15 years, and automation. I use LFO's and sequencers to automate a ton of what's going on so my control gestures to 'perform' the patch can be limited to what can be practically executed with two hands. After I jam on the patch for a while, I get a rough idea of what I want to do and then hit record and hope for the best!
Lovin’ the bass/lead sound

@@renkucorporation7263 had my 202 since ‘82’83 no kenton yet…beauty✌️thanks for response.
absolutely love the drums in this. Does the whole thing go through a compressor at any point? I get a slight kind of sidechained vibe from it
