Be careful bending forwards towards the camera in your shift, and putting your leg up on the table. I was almost sweating anxiouslt on your behalf!

Are the pins like sewing pins or are they a specialty item, I know the virgin queen was ordering like 2400 of them a month!

I use steel dressmaker pins because they have a small flat head that isn't noticable when used on clothes like this.

i found your channel by accident and I love that your channel is so different compare to all the beauty and fitness channels which are fun to watch but nothing classy and educational like yours, I used to hate history especially in school but as a grown adult i have come to appreciate and admired different cultures and time periods so I find history fascinating now. Great work and amazing talent you have in your hands.

Grandmother's table cloth, stunning 💯 idea to keep a treasure forever genius... brilliant idea curtains... I don't sew but I knit and Crochet and have a book for 1890' s to make under garments. I love long skirts so I plan on doing some of that to enjoy my long skirts in the winter ❄️. hugs Lynn Weasenforth 💯💜💛💙🌹☮️ I just found and subscribed to your channel stay safe from the pandemic madness we are all going through.....

I’ve read they also used the hoops as pockets as well! Such a pretty dress!

Granny’s curtains are perfect! My Nana was artsy so her curtains are dupioni, useless for a gown. But you really got that court look, fabulous dress!

Again, Lana has out performed herself with the quality of detail, from head to toe. Amazing! Especially since the gold material was her grandmother’s draperies. Fabulous!

Yes. The whole gown (skirt, stomacher and overgown) is all made from my grandmother's curtains.

I'm really surprised that your stays don't have a stomacher! They are lovely though. I love 18th-century clothing so much; especially the robe l'francaise!
