Most weather predictions dramatically drop in accuracy the further in advance you try to look, so keeping things close to time is the best way to insure accurate data to keep David from ending up thirty miles south of where he intended to go. An hour's worth of prediction will give you near-perfect results, so it's a lot harder for things to go wrong.
I also have to admit that how his daughter is smart actually - not fooling around, asking experts if the balloon is tied correctly, knowing when to stop, absolutely well-timed. She didn't spoil the show like most kids would do - she really added some flavor to it.
After this I respect him even more not for his courage and skills as a magician but for being a great father. His daughter behaved way more mature that the adults nowadays.
I love seeing David Blaine look so happy throughout this whole project, usually he keeps his cool while doing his stunts/tricks. But he genuinely looks excited and happy doing this stunt with his whole team working with him
I thought he was going to hold onto the balloon himself the whole time, I'm relieved he got strapped up. When he told his daughter he was reaching heights where airplanes fly, you could see reality and fear set on her face. He did amazing at comforting her while being so vulnerable himself

I have not seen a David Blaine video in 10 years. To me he seemed like a much more content person. Full of love, joy and childlike wonder. I found myself smiling during the entire 3 hrs of the show because of his interactions with his daughter and how grateful he was for the team that helped him achieve his dream. It was awesome to watch.

I haven’t been that high but I’m a paragliding pilot, at the most I have been at 2300 meters above the ground- it’s pure magic to paraglide and really push those G-forces around!! ♥️ I love it. This made me feel like I was on that flight with you. My daughter wanted her first tandem flight at the tender age of just one year old, she has been raised among the clouds ⛅️!! And loves flying!
