I've been working on my own cars for 45 years, but until now I never needed to replace a seat belt! After watching your video, I'm ready to tackle my wife's 2015 Acura driver's belt. Thank you young man, your video was extremely helpful. It's also refreshing to see that the word "finagle" is still in use. ;-)
Great work! This helped a lot. I hit a tree last night, airbags blew, and my bumper is toast, but the car runs fine. Seatbelt was locked in place, so this was helpful!
Very helpful but did not mention disconnecting the battery to prevent the seatbelt “airbag” from deploying. *That is a very important step that should not be skipped over!!*
After disconnecting the battery and seat belt, can the battery be connected to use the car to drive around if needed? Airbag won't deploy? ( not driving on road)
@@PIYA07950 I suspect you've already moved on but for the rest of us, the answer to your question is "Yes". The danger is in the process of removal (or connecting) of the connector. Of course, it should be self evident that driving without a seatbelt might be a concern :)
Excellent video! Thanks for that. My 07 has basically been an indoor truck for 5 years or so. My plan is to take out the carpet(s) and the belts so I can clean them with my pressure washer. They are really, really bad off.
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat.
I gave you a thumbs up because you showed all the bolts and panels that needs removed. Good job.. BUT in the future, edit your vids so you don't show yourself removing the entire bolt... I watched your vid to see how hard it'd be but i had to wait while you actually took out all the bolts from the time you broke them loose until they actually come out...lol
Stumbled upon this again. Quite old though. UPDATE : Yes, it is possible. I actually did one some months later. Same procedure as that of the passenger side.
No the front seatbelt assembly is not required to remove the rear seat. To remove rear seat is very easy, you can watch the video here: ua-cam.com/video/l1CXaIJTriA/v-deo.html

Nice video Aiman.
Please is it possible to separate the driver airbag from its cover, just as you did on the passenger airbag?
Not sure if it is possible, we did not try it though
Stumbled upon this again. Quite old though.

Thanks buddy for shearing .
Can I change the belt only after removing seatbelt SRS assembly ?
It’s easier if you pull the seal off first
Thanks :)
