It was pretty close in the last stretch. Then Usain stepped on the gas and pulled about 15 feet in front. Amazing that he can accelerate right through the entire 100m.
no one can accelerate through the whole 100m. you hit your top speed at 60 meters

If you divide 37.54 by 4, the average timing for each one of them is 9.39 seconds while the 100M record is 9.58 secs

You have to account for the running start, Bolt for e.g ran a 8.7 split during the WR 4*100m in 2012.

Hello, in the 4x100 race, three of the participants run a distance of 10 metres before running the 100 metres for their part. Therefore, if you want to analyse the individual performance you need to calculate the 110m counting from the moment the athlete started.
