I have not served in the military,and I thank you ALL for your service! But dammit,every battle,drum wise,Army ALWAYS destroys it! EVERY TIME! I’ve never seen one where Army gets schooled. Ever.
I look forward to seeing this year's (2022) drumline halftime battle between West Point and Annapolis, if this is an example of the sonic fireworks that goes on between these characters... It is FUN!!!

Army has way more fun n is yes more high school but fuck it sounds better. Navy is just plain n proper. Thats what i learned in high school people like show bands not traditional.
okayyy. first of all. The USMA spirit band is what we either call a swak line or ghetto beat. The USNA did take the win. they are just a tad cleaner and more rudimental than that of the army. I don't pick sides congratulations to all soldiers. we love you all. I appreciate watching our men and women beat their hearts out like I used to. makes me miss it. Thanks Guys.
I was in a U.S. Army band, but I have to admit that this Navy Band was better! It was clear to me that the Navy band came better prepared for this battle! The ARMY band seemed sloppy at times but had a stronger beet, and with purpose (Go Army), but this Navy Band's percussion looked and sounded smarter and better trained for battle. Maybe I'm wrong, but Navy wins this one! Just another thought.... If you want something done, then definitely call the Army! But if you want precision, then call the Navy! Also, Good competition like this, in this video, is awesome!
Army's drumline are a bunch of the small time drummers from high school. Navy is way polished! You need to take notes. I know it's a friendly rival but at least army could have shown musicianship, oh I forgot they can't! 😝
My kid is in her high school drum line, and rocks it. She has a chance to try out for the Army Band The Army attitude makes me sick. Why would I encourage my kid to be part of this?
What is wrong with the Army attitude. My time in the Army helped shape me into the man I am today. I am a single father that has completed college and is raising a 6 and 7 year old by myself. The Army gave me the drive and maturity I needed so that I could do this. People that have an issue with the "Army Attitude" seem to forget that the people that VOLUNTEER to join the military are the reason they have the right to think like that. So if you son wants to join the military let him, he is volunteering to make sure we continue to have the freedoms we have today.

There is no "Army Attitude." All the branches pick on one another and get cocky and act better. We compete, we try to show each other up. But in the end, we get together and get shit done. Are we any different from any siblings out there?
