Grandma's apt. is so beautiful. I especially like the Hawaii style quilt on her bed. after my knee surgery my husband took out the bathtub in my bathroom and put a walk in shower with a bench seat to make it easier for me.

Thank you..I will tell grandma you like her quilt. How wonderful that you got a walk-in shower. So much easier to get into 👍👍

What a lovely shop! I’ve always wanted to visit Michigan but it’s a long way from SW Florida! ❤

Love your updates. Grandmas flower bed, the poor woodpecker who passed suddenly, the fox attack on the peking duck, the cabinet updates etc etc etc. It really does look like spring has come to Michigan. Thanks for sharing. Be careful granny in the antique shop, you break it, you bought it 😂

The hat shop in Clarkston is so cute, it’s a bit far away for me but maybe I’ll take a drive one day.
That fix would scare me, poor little ducks can’t defend themselves, good you have dogs to chase them away.
I would like to have my son put in one of those farmhouse sinks in my kitchen.
Your husband is doing a great job, I had no idea what he was talking about, but good job 👍 😂

Thanks Susie! Yes that fox scares me too..I keep thinking it is going to come back again now that is knows we have ducks and chickens. This is the hard part of having animals… I’m always worried for them. I will tell my husband you said good job😊 he appreciates comments. Thanks for watching ❤️❤️

We have a simple fence around our ducks as well as the chickens. They only have about 1/8 acre to run around in. We had a similar problem but with coyotes after the chickens. Darn things would come into the back yard even when i was there. Killed five chickens and only "used" one. The fence helps me so much. I don't have dogs but keep something else handy
I don't know about the wood pecker? Strange for sure.

I’m so sorry about your chickens ❤️ that had to be hard to loose so many. I am trying to convince my husband to fence in part of our property for the ducks. The problem is that the fence will have to be big because of the pond. It just kills me that the ducks are so vulnerable..I worry about them a lot 😞😞

All I can think of about the woodpecker is maybe bird flu? Or maybe just old age.

Thanks for the idea..do you think birds can choke on bird food? That thought has crossed my mind?

@@GrandmaLivesInTheBasementno birds RARELY choke. It’s almost impossible. Their anatomy isn’t like ours.
