I think this unit is the best value for a 24 trail/crawler on the market today. It’s perfect for that mix. Add weighted rims w/ swap king tires and you have a fine crawler. Further add axle extenders and longer shocks and you have a master crawler. FCX 24s are the super duty line of mini crawlers. I only wish they were American made. Along with everything else. But I can dream. Crawl on my brother dirt clods. 👍🏽
It is interesting that FMS chose to release the Lemur on the 1:24 scale chassis rather than utilising the FCX18. The slightly bigger scale chassis would have produced a better product for not that much more cost I feel. I have a Partner Racing QX-4 rock buggy and the 1:18 scale gives it a noticeable performance advantage over 1:24 scale products whilst retaining the handy compact size/weight benefits.
Some brass wheels LGRP Black Labels and a 12mm TREAL streach, that thing would be great with just those few mods . I put brass INJORA brass wheels and LGRP BL on my Fcx24 Power Wagon and it made a big difference in performance.
As is sits stock I think a kid would have a lot of fun with it but for us crawler enthusiasts i think what you did would be about it to have nice time with it.A set of smaller tires and heavier wheels and just cut the springs down to lower it should do the job.
looks a little tall/top heavy with those stock tires. Can't tell if the tires are too big or the body is too small looks a little out of scale for some reason lol
If the intent is to make it into just a crawler, yes, will need some upgrades. But, isn't it a rock bouncer buggy? to go on trails, roots, dirt, some small rocks, etc. Is it water resistant or is it the same motor/esc as in the other fcx's because if it has some water resistance, would open up for some fun in creeks.
I had the same thought about the links off the LC80 I think that could be a budget way to get some performance and wait for more parts to come out...man I'm stuck between this, lC80, or finally giving into a trx4m build😂
Actually we're both wrong. It has some bearings and some bushings. There's bearings on the CV's, the bevel pinion output and the transmission output shafts.
@@rcdriver hmmm. I’ll have to give her a second look. I swear I saw bushings there and in the exploded view. Oooof. I’ll need to dive deeper next time. Thanks for your videos. You inspired my channel. ;)
@@TheShopMiniRCI saw the bearings at the CVs from the outside and took the center shaft out and saw bearing’s prior to making the vid. But then when I took the portal covers off after reading your comment I saw bushings too. But thanks for pointing it out, I try my best, but some things get by me. Watched your video. Awesome stuff bud, keep it up!!
your in the WRONG mindframe on this one bud, it's more of a rock "bouncer" than a crawler. It could use better tires but it is made to bounce, if it needs more "tire speed".......USE THE 2nd GEAR THEY GAVE IT
They still use philips screws , wow wake up fms!!!!get wit the game!!!!!!!!! i bid $20 becouse of the philips screws!!!!! what are they thanking!!!!!! I would look at FMS closer if they used alen wrench, but philips is so old school, makes it look like a baby toy!!
Better than the ax24 overall but still no thanks. If i ever get another mini crawler, the fcx18 or fcx24 blazer is where it's at. Keep it scale FMS that's where you excell and that's why we love you, not this garbage.

My gosh that was a beautiful shot of you sitting with the lake behind you, absolutely awesome! oh and the truck is cool too!
I think longer links in the front to extend the wheelbase
very honest review, good on you....and man that location is truly stunning
Great reviews always Greg, I agree with all your points on this vehicle. I really don't understand that Tire Choice that they went with.
Thanks Bud! Yeah, the tires were not a good choice for this. My simple wheel swap made it waaay better.
Seriously??? Why is everyone complaining?? This rig is awesome!
Very beautiful rig❤️🔥💪🏼

nice review mate. just needs something extra to look right. like u say longer wheelbase and scale wheels/ tyres?🤔

Not a bad-looking Trust I like that one a lot that's the best one I would get so have a lot of fun bullet my friend
Classic FMS loud transmission screech. Looks better with smaller wheels/tires but the cartoon decals gotta go. Way overpriced for what it is IMO.
Nah, smaller tires would look terrible and the decals are awesome...
All the tyres are interchangeable between 1/24 and 1/18 models ? Because you change the tyres to the Blazer that's why i ask.
how do you like this compared to the LC80? the Lemur looks awesome. any alternatives I should consider or is this the one?
Some weight up front would definitely help. First thing I would do is swap battery and reciever placement of possible
I agree. Some tweaks will certainly make it a lot more fun.

As long as you don't pick the TRX you're good to go
Still wish fms would do something with their chasie.shock locations, more room for upgrades.yea,20,25 sounds about right.
FMS fan! So eventually I’ll get one.
wonder if you could turn this into a mini bomber 🤔
Greg where is that place you're at?
Lovers Leap in CT.
Good points Greg ...i like it with some small mods it well be great
The stock tires and rims don't look right on that little crawler 😢
Pls do a arrma grom granite vid they look cool good vid
They definitely could of done a better job with the tyres they don't seem to have much traction
this truck does not have ball bearings, its all bushings

@@rcdriver huge thanks. I should have caught the bearings as I typically do very deep dive videos. Next time!!!

and get over the philips screws, FMS !!!!!!!!!
