Wonder Woman DESERVES More Respect

- Wonder Woman is considered one of the most iconic superheroes in DC Comics, alongside Batman, Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and the rest of the Justice League. She has appeared in various media, including the DCEU with Zack Snyder's Universe, which began with Man Of Steel, and in video games like Injustice and Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, set five years after Batman Arkham Knight. Wonder Woman has also shone in DC Animation, such as Justice League Unlimited/DCAU, the DC Animated Movie Universe based on the New 52, and Young Justice. However, it seems that many aspects of the character are neglected in several adaptations, such as the Wonder Girls, her villains like Circe and Dr. Psycho, as well as more of her morals. The Wonder Woman game being developed by Monolith and the upcoming DCU reboot by James Gunn show some promise in potentially showcasing all aspects of the character's mythos.

I am surprised we never ever got a Wonder Woman animated series at this point.
I dont want one now. Not with the woke virus on the loose.
I am as well. I was just talking about that.

There was somewhat a recent animation film with her

Isn’t crazy that venom will be getting a trilogy before Wonder Woman
Gunn should have let Gal do one more movie and have it release right before Superman to close off the DCEU cause she was the only real reason people loved that universe honestly
@seansanford7684 she's not worth of the WW character
they would have probably had a ww3 if ww 1984 didn't flop. besides we are getting a wonder woman prequel series and a gunn talked about trying to launch an animation show. don't know if we will ever get one tho.

Normal Wonder Woman deserves respect but Injustice Wonder Woman deserves nothing but death.
Fun fact: Did you know that in the animated movie adaption of Injustice, Wondie was voiced by Janet Varney, the voice of Avatar Korra?
I liked the injustice Wonder Woman in the sense the writers actually were given permission to make her evil. Unlike Superman or Batman they didn't have some _weird_ justification for it they just did it. And since everyone seems to hate the character, I think they did their job well. They made her interesting "evil" and not just evil for the sake of it *evil* .
Injustice Wonder Woman? You mean Rebound Girl?
I was so dissapointed to learn she woke up from that coma in the second year tbh
so do like 90% of characters in injustice
Well said, Wonder Woman is well-known but still lacks proper adaptations
Indeed!
I agree. The Animated Justice League series WW is all cool and hot and stuff and that was my best childhood ever but not even that felt enough for me
I really wish we gotten an animated series for Wonder Woman like for Batman, Superman, and even Green Lantern. I’m tired of most of WW adaptation that solely focuses on her is just her origin story. I would love to see more of her relationship with her supporting casts like Steve Trevor, Etta Candy, Hippolyta, Donna Troy, Artemis, Nubia, Cassie Sandsmarks, and the rest of the amazons. I would love to see more of her rogue gallery outside of Aries and Cheetah, like Blue Snowman, Dr Psycho, Silver Swan, and Circe. Wonder Woman has so much lore that DC are either too lazy or too afraid to explore for people who don’t read comics
I have some pretty good ideas for a Wonder woman cartoon. Granted, I don't have a complete outline in my mind, but again, the ideas are there.
Well green lantern has had a series on cartoon Network that is kinda loved although (I don't love the animation) and also he was basically the main character of new frontier and that was an amazing animated movie also he has a movie so idk he got one before flash and that's criminal to me
We did get an animated series for Green Lantern.
One thing I like how about Gal's Wonder Woman is you could see how much cared about helping people.
Gunn talked about making a Wonder Woman animated series. I hope that happens so we can see more of her world other than her origin
Gunn can't be trusted with DC properties. He made a horrible SS film and is currently making an atrocious adaptation of Superman. He is going to end DC Comics.
Hope it's not connected to the DCU or any other continuity. I also hope both that series and game avoid modern politics and respectfully adapt the source material (the good source material specifically) and that the game is fun and not a live service and microtransaction riddled mess, or even a good live service. I hate live service and microtransactions and always online crap. Game better not be an over the shoulder fixed camera playable movie either, should be like classic God of War or Shadow of Mordor.
@@MattGraves01I'm very very cautious on his plans for the DCU. He loves adaptating obscure characters but has a bad track record of adaptating them in a accurate way, like Bloodsport or Star Lord. They're likeable but it always disappoints me. Not to mention Tom King's involved with this, so I hope he barely effects the universe like Geoff Johns barely effected the DCEU.
His teams casting for Superman: Legacy is all good so far, except they race bent Hawkgirl again and Nathan Fillion would've been a better Hal Jordan. Still hasn't been a bad live-action Superman casting yet as far as I know, new lois is good and we might be getting the only good live-action action Lex besides Smallville Lex (who isn't as good as modt animated Lex's).
Also his favorite Robin is Damian Wayne, he likes Tom King Superman/Supergirl runs, and he thought Tim Burton Batman's OST which are all red flags imo, despite how petty the first and last ones are.
@@chocov1233 I'm not even sure if I even want to watch any of his DCU films. He wasted great actors like Michael Rooker and Peter Capaldi in his SS film, so if any castings he's done are good, then it's likely he'll waste them too.
Well Tyler Hoeclin is a horrible Superman, so it's still possible that Gunn's casting is also bad.
Him liking Damian Wayne is definitely a red flag for me as I despise that character.
@@chocov1233 Hawkgirl isn’t being race bent. Kendra Saunders is latina in the comics
Every time I see fans put Wonder Woman up against another Character I laugh my ass off because she can easily stomp out the competition yet that’s not what immediately comes to mind as she’s more of a compassionate protector. A WW game like new age God of War would be incredible. Yes it would compared but its a system that fits perfectly for her!!
Naw, it should be grandiose like God of War (2005) - God of War: Ascension. I've dreamed about a Wonder Woman game in that style for many many years now. Either that or it could be like Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War gameplay-wise, that'd be lit.
The animated Wonder woman movie is actually my favorite movie from 2009. Which is kind of crazy when you look back on all the really great movies that were out on the big screen during that year.
absolutely
So true, along with the justice league animated series wonder woman voiced by Susan as Diana is also amazing. However I feel as if they wouldn't want to use the 2009 version and personality for a new wonder woman because even though she was open minded and valiant she still held strong negative views against the opposite sex based on the teachings by her mother.
They always talk about the Trinity but it’s time to be honest, it’s a duo and their friend that shows up in whatever capacity they choose.
The closest we got to a Wonder Woman story that is equivalent to “Death of Superman/Kinghtfall” was her “Genocide” story arc. In which she was severely beaten by Genocide that left her bruised body and broken soul. But then much like Batman, she had to re-learn about herself and to stand up to this incredible foe no matter it takes.
Second close was her another self discovery story arc during the 52 Story run (Not to be confused with New 52). But that was more Diana’s self discovery as a person than Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman's "Death of Superman/Knightfall" was "Amazons Attack", where Artemis challenges Diana, Hippolyta cheats to make Diana lose, this giving Artemis the title and role of Wonder Woman. Then Artemis spends 2 or 3 issues running around and doing stupid stuff until she eventually gets killed. Then Hippolyta reveals that she had recently gotten a warning from some Oracle that they'd gotten the message that "Within three weeks time, Wonder Woman will die!" So she orchestrated things to make sure that Diana was no longer Wonder Woman.
After the first Wonder Woman movie you would think there'd be Wonder- mania. You'd think they'd be more comics, a cartoon, games, toys, etc. Guess WB is not as "woke" as people thought.
WB is just allergic to Money
@Terminal_Apotos That makes no sense. Maybe out of touch with reality but certainly into money.
Wrong. Plenty woke. They just kept trying to artificially make Harley Quinn mania a thing to fill their ESG scores when they literally have the first major female superhero as literally one of their big three and a prominent female Superman family member in existence. Like, how do you be so dumb, WB? You had TWO perfect opportunities giftwrapped for you to try and please both woke and non-woke people and you dumped all your points into psycho, white trash barbie! XD
Oh they did have Wonder Woman many That's how we got Wonder Woman 1984 and then they made so many spin-off Wonder Woman comic books but the problem is all of that Wonder Woman mania stuff that they had after the first Wonder Woman movie it sucked and people didn't buy it because the writers and people who were working on the Wonder Woman stuff didn't understand Wonder Woman and they wanted to make her more about agenda of Wonder Woman don't need no man she's a powerful woman and you know that old same nonsense of men are beneath women kind of trope and people just aren't going to be interested in that kind of stuff Oh and then of course they wanted to start focusing on LGBT topics as well so yeah of course that was going to go wrong lol
But WB wants to shove Harley Quinn down our throat
honestly it’s everyone other than batman. green lantern is probably the least represented to be fair
True. He at least got an animated series but it was very short and they haven’t given him really anything since
@@darkspark5854 because that movie was atrocious.
I really do think we need a DEFINITIVE and compelling Wonder Woman portrayal. Superman and Batman have had numerous portrayals that definitively outline their character and what they stand for. As a core member of the Trinity, WW needs to have a specific ideal she embodies in the same way Superman embodies Hope and Batman embodies Justice/a symbol of fear for criminals.
WW has such a rich background and lore and I think brings a lot to the trinity and it’s a shame that her character is arguably less iconic and defined as the other trinity members.
I also think that there’s something really interesting that could be explored in terms of her bringing a feminine perspective to the JL. Not in like a modern feminist way, but more along the lines of the idea that men and women can have complementary traits to each other.
What role/unique perspective could she bring to the trinity/JL that is exclusive to her being raised by an exclusively female society?
Idk, just a thought.

Donna Troy dies by electrocution? Are you serious? Does Donna Troy have powers? You know divine magic powers?
In Titans Donna was a normal girl reduced and adopted by Diana as a little sister. How she got her powers was never explained.
@@n8298906that show was an embarrassment
@@n8298906 originally, Donna troy was healed with the Amazon's purple ray which also gave her powers. By marv Wolfman's tenure where the teen titans run became as popular as the xmen long ago, it was retconned that the purple ray only activated Donna's metagenes and that Donna was more than just a metahuman. It was shown that she was also directly linked to the titans of legend who gave her new powers as troia. Under john Byrne she was a magical clone golem of wonder woman etc Its all confusing because of all DC characters, Donna troy is the key to the lost multi verse. She's the only DC character who lived and remembered all her alternate versions in the lost multi verse. So yes she's kind of an anomaly. Check out her wiki
To be fair, JLU , JLA and Gal Gadot's WW are the only mainstream versions that I feel have been done right.
A lot of others portray her as a misandrist and/or a complete monster conviced of her own justice. (Injustice WW in particular is basically the real villain of that elseworld story)
Dcamu ww was pretty good
Young justice too
Those versions are all shallow
The Justice League cartoon is debatable. It's a solid adaptation, but screws her over TOO MUCH to be considered "done right", like how they make her Batman's love interest, how they change her origin story to the daughter of Hades, the episode the centered around one of her villains (Circe) has her out of comission while Batman takes center stage (now that I think about it, that show really liked jerking off to Batman, huh?)
Linda Carter's TV version was shallow also but at her prime, Linda carter was the best physical embodiment of wonder woman. She was 5 feet 8 inches. 38 25 36 stats. She was extraordinarily beautiful which was the only reason to watch the show. Memes and give galore of her running. I wondered why they couldn't find a better choice than gal gadot

What would be really interesting is Wonder Woman's take on killing. I mean think about, the Amazonians are based on Greek Mythology, very prone to violence. They've had to be that way in order to protect themselves. So have all that for a childhood, not to mention WW technically being a war veteran, I think her journey on how to balance that killer streak with compassion would be really cool. It'll definitely make an intriguing conflict with Batman's & Superman's "No Kill" Rule.
In the comics the amazons are warriors but they are not prone to violence. Diana generally uses violence as a last resort and doesn't kill unless it's absolutely the last option (like when she killed Maxwell Lord), which is why her main weapon is her lasso. Also, post crisis she came to men's world after ww2, so she's not really a war veteran. (The new 52 made the amazons very violent and gave her a sword... but everyone was out of character in the new 52)
@@nikoletta3855 Apologies, I didn't know all that. I guess I just thought it be cool to take more from the Greek Mythology and the War I was referring to was the one in the 2017 movie. Beg your pardon but I respectfully disagree. Wonder Woman's creator William Marston wrote the Amazons as a peaceful, enlightened race as he specifically wanted them to be a subversion of the "man-hating savages" myth.

I remember reading 80's Wonder Woman comics over a few months time some few years ago so while I don't primarily follow the character currently, I'm decently familiar with her major friends and foes.
She’s been getting written to be more and more insufferable the last decade I’m not surprised if people don’t respect her. Don’t write a character to be even slightly misandrist if you’re not going to tell them they’re wrong about it. Unfortunately that’s where a lot of Wonder Woman iterations fail for me. Her being that way initially makes sense based on her upbringing but she’s rarely called out for it and rarely drops her “Amazon superiority” complex.
There have been plenty of good versions of Wonder Women but people only seem to remember the bad or cringe ones
Patty's hubris in WW84 ruined Wonder Woman for the masses. Hopefully the game restores the general public's interest in her. She's a layered and complex character who deserves so much more respect ijs
Great point about directors being given full creative control and going off the rails. People complain about studio meddling in these movies, but I'd rather have someone keeping continuity and characterization intact, than directors feeling they can just do whatever they want regardless of how it affects the larger universe.
If James Gunn or whoever directs the DCU Wonder Woman movie does a good job it can carry over to other media just like the guardians of the galaxy or Peacemaker did
And I hope for the love of god that she doesn't date batman or Superman i really really hate that
Donna Troy wasn't just featured in Titans, but also the DC animated shorts:"Super Best Friends Forever" along side Super Girl and Bat-Girl.
I hope the WW game really amplifies her stories. She has many amazing stories especially in the Post-Crisis era, Justice League Dark (2018), and other assorted stories such as The Hiketeia and League of One. Praying that Circe is the main villain in the game!
Gal made me a fan but the character of Wonder Woman is the reader I stayed. Yes she’s not the strongest actress but she pulled off the fierceness and the compassion that Diana carries. Thank you for this vid.
Unfortunately, the writers only focus on the most superficial character traits of the characters, both Marvel and DC. This also happens to Spider-Man and Batman. In fact, it especially happens to Spider-Man and Batman since they are the characters from their respective comic book houses used the most outside of comics.
A Wonder Woman video game with a God of War gameplay would definitely be handsome, but an animated series seems to be the best ideas since it has the most possibilities to be seen by most people. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy fan fiction, both mine and others', treating the character with the respect she deserves.
Glad I discovered this channel. Bro be spitting facts
Great video. Keep it up!
To be fair, the big problem with wonderwoman is that a lot of time, she's too preachy, most of the time on a high horse. It is sometimes hypocritical, especially with her themes of misandrism conflicting with feminism or the constant problem with the amazons sometimes being evil, never being resolved (plus the fact she is sometimes ok with it). Not to mention having so many retcons that make the character incosistent compared to superman or batman does not help. It's even worse when a lot of her more recognized comics are the writers dumbing down other characters to make her look better. An example is "The Hiketia" issue (which has a cover of wonder womans foot on top of batmans head) in which he is after a criminal who wonder woman decides for whatever reason to put under her protection. There was also that time she and the amazons attacked supergirl when she was taking a stroll with Superman to prove she couldn't control her powers instead of straight out asking him. It's similar when writers make it that batman can't kill joker for good. A lot of people hate it.
The real issue is WB aren't interested in anything that's not batman
If suice squad had a better story something like each one of the squad having unique story parts that you play and maybe each one relates back to one of the members of the league, you can keep the open world bs but the story is divided into 4 parts that each SS memeber does
Like harley deals with batman ultimately dealing with the joker past and maybe reconciling before batman sacrifices himself to save harley
Boomerang clearly dealing with flash (idk am not a big flash fan so) but ultimately same thing, freeing flash or maybe he dies too
Deadshot story can deal with greent lanter cuz based of that bio there's clearly something going on with deadshot and his hatred of John and him being one of the "good ones" ultimately
And king sharks story could relate back to wonder woman and them both being from magic and both having this gladiator mind set
And all these 4 stories build up to superman as the main final boss
But no just pay to win season pass whatever the fucks
I think that WW main problem with her rogue's gallery is that it lacks a clear core element.
Think about it, Superman's main rogues are all classic sci-fi villains: the mad scientist (Toyman and Lex Luthor), the being from another dimension (Mr.Mxyzptlk), the malformed clone (Bizarro), the cyborg (Metallo), the alien that comes to Earth to study us (Brainiac) etc.
Batman's villains are all freaks, people that for some reason or another are no more part of the society and that release all their hatred or frustration on it: from Joker to Penguin, from Ra's al Ghul to Black Mask they all fit this description.
But WW? Ares, Circe, Eris, Medusa...ok so we have a clear mythology focused rogue's gallery but then you have Dr.Poison, Blue Snowman...ok so we got a bunch of evil scientists that have no relation with mythology then you have characters like Veronica Cale, Giganta or Dr.Psycho that don't fit in neither of the evil scientist or mythology category.
I think that what she needs most is a clear focus for her rogues and i would focus on mythology.
Yeah there are other characters in DC that deal with other mythologies (like Dr.Fate with the egyptian one) but WW is part of the Trinity, if someone in DC deserves a focus on all mythologies that has to be WW, give her Sobek and Seth from the Egyptian mythology, let her have missions on behalf of Odin or with Anansi, let her go against Tezcatlipoca or Tiamat and so on.
I was watching a yotuber's video on which superhero's and supervillains would be on Mount Rushmore, but instead of only doing an all time MR, he did one for each age of the big two (golden age-modern age). Wonder woman was only on the golden age MR, but through out the other ages she wasn't. Yes she still appeared greatly in DC, but felt almost like a side hero at times. The same thing can be said about with her rogues as they didn't appear on any MR. The only rogue that's arguably as well know as WW is Cheetah and that's mostly thanks to the superfriends cartoon. Heck Spiderman and the X-Men, who came out a 2 decades after WW, have more iconic villains than her, especially Spiderman.
So I agree with you in that WW's rogues need some refreshment. The recent issue of Tom king's WW gave a decent line up of who her rouges are, with Ares being the only one whose missing and Cheetah not wanting to be involved I think. But even then, there's only 4 you can be somewhat recognizable. Grail is still recent and Silver Swan, who despite being around longer, has only recently become more prominent.
@@devinhamb6586 well that's another problem of her: the runs.
Her Tom King's run is utter shit and pretty much anyone that comes on board bulldozes everything that came before.
I'm not american so i don't know if what i'm gonna say it's just due to the fact that i don't live there or something but it's really that difficult to find an american writer that knows his shit when it comes to mythologies? The only famous that came to my mind is Mike Mignola.
Silver Swan could be easily related to mythology since one of her various identities was (if i'm not mistaken) related to Leda (it's a long story about a girl named Leda that trasforms herself into a swan).
Cheetah too has many different identities that hold the title but i would just keep Minerva's classic origin BUT with her being the "avatar" (Doctor Fate style) of a cheetah related god from Africa (maybe some Yoruba deity)
That makes no sense. Both Batman and Superman have multiple villains that fit OUTSIDE of your stablished themes.
A good villain is just one that challenges the hero in interesting ways. THAT'S IT.
The "problem with her rogues gallery is that they don't have a lot of adaptations outside of comics. Think about it: MANY heroes have rogues gallery just as diverse and interesting as Batman and Spider-Man (Fastastic Four, Dr. Strange, Green Lantern, Flash, etc.), so are theirs the most popular ones? Simple: EXPOSURE OUTSIDE OF COMICS.
Basically, the problem with WW's rogues gallery isn't the rogues themselves, but DC's treatment of them.
@@julio.dealmeidabranconeto5831 Batman and Superman most famous villains all share the common core i displayed.
And the other heroes you mentioned too have a core for their villains.
Spider-man villains are all people that through their work (Mysterio or Vulture) or by chance (Sandman or Electro) have obtained incredible powers BUT (differently from Spider-man) have decided to use them in the most selfish way possible.
The Fantastic Four villains are like Superman's: classic sci-fi villains from the secret underground society (Mole Man), to the conqueror from outer space (Galactus) or the mad scientist (Puppet Master).
Dr.Strange enemies instead are all classic magic menaces: the evil sorcerer (Baron Mordo), the evil tyrant from another dimension (Dormammu),a lovecraftian being (Shuma-Gorath) and so on for the others.
@@Timepilot94 i don't know about the brazilian retcon, cheetahs aren't exactly the typical brazilian animal that comes to mind while for Dr.Poison and Blue Snowman i don't know, the last time someone pissed off Demeter he got turned into a barn owl not a robotic snowman.
For the romance aspect i haven't read the original Marston's run but i always thought that if she has to be with someone that has to be Steve Trevor.
I want more female superheros, batman and superman have many clones, but wonder woman have almost none.
I tried drawing a 2nd trinity with shazam and green arrow and the only character i could see replace wonder woman was maxima, which i actually want her to be seen more as maxima is actially a nice character that i want to see more action about her and not just her talking about her feeling's
The video games I know that had Wonder Woman in it that you didn’t mention are “Justice League: Heroes” and “Justice League: Task Force”.
Isn’t her strongest version currently the strongest hero in DC currently? Y’know when she bonded with the lasso of truth and beat up the batman who laughs then ascends with the hands. That would technically put her above superman prime considering she basically became apart of the writers at that point
Superman prime isn't that special I can name 4-6 versions of superman that would rank above him
She lost that power when going to Valhalla Wonder Woman: realms
There are several characters that DC has no idea what to do with. Wonder Woman is one of them.
Wonder woman has always just been there, an am sorry if this sounds mean but dc has lately been treating her as the women of the trinity and that statement puts it best, every new writer comes into wonder woman trying to make a statement and shake things up cuz they feel that since it's wonder woman then they must say something meaningful full, it's not like every superman writer has come in and had to say a Statement on immigrants cuz Clark is an alien, or not every batman writer has had the need to make a statement on class and wealth, an this is not to mean that they never do tackle those topics, they do but for wonder woman it's lately been nothing but either make some grandiose thing or just have her in the corner being there and no I don't think it's a men thing when there's plenty of women that Said how bad wonder woman gets it so idk monolith ya better cook cuz wonder woman needs it
Big issue with wonder Woman is that she dosen't have reoccurring villains outside of Cheetah and the greek gods, you need a long lasting cast in order to make a characters lore notable.
Wonder Woman is the member of the Trinity most likely to kill someone. Superman is too nice and to willing to believe in others, and so never kills (except in some Elseworlds or badly written fiction). Batman also believes in giving others a second chance, while also believing that no one man should ever choose who lives or dies. She is a soldier and unwilling to give up in a fight. She is a very complex and interesting character who has not had a lot of good movie outings.
She might be more willing to kill but only in extreme circumstances. The New 52 gave her bad writing because before that she was a very compassionate character instead of just being a warrior
@@kingjj8115 indeed. Like I said, she is a very complex and interesting character who has not had a lot of good movie outings.
Something that feels weird to me about Wonder Woman, why not make a Wonder Girl, who's one of the Bana Mighdall Amazons? Like we've got Donna Troy, the Wonder Woman clone made by the Titans to overthrow the gods, Demigoddess Cassandra Sandsmark, and Yara Flor, but nothing for the Bana Mighdall, even though Nubia's kinda interesting. I mean just knowing that there's a group of nomadic Amazons who've probably had an impact on World History, and we don't get to see one of them as Wonder Girl.
Honestly, you're right. As someone who's only seen her in the animated universe, Young Justice, and the Snyder verse, I know next to nothing about the character despite liking her. Her only villains I know are Cheeta, Faust, Hades, and Ares. I don't even know if Faust is a Wonder Woman villain he just released Hades in Justice League Animated. I barely understand her origin. All I really know is her personality and powers. I can't afford to start a comic collection, so I hope James cooks and I can get a better understanding of her in the future like Superman.
Faust is a villain that's clashed with everyone. He's not one of her main villain
I agree with most of your points. However, I do prefer WW and Superman being together.
I know it’s not related but I was wondering if you were gonna do a vid on the coie part 1 or if you were gonna wait until they’re all released 😅
1:19 Man, even Graduation Day was more respectful! Sure, it was a huge disservice to her character, especially how the post mortem panel framed her body, but at least she went down fighting a rogue Superman robot!
Harley quinn has gotten more respect and adaptions , its honestly sad tbh 😂😂
I agree.
Lets be honest here, only Batman and Superman (but mostly Batman) exist at the eyes of DC right now. The "DC Trinity" is no more, its more like "DC Couple".
I love Batman, but there's this old saying that goes "too much of a good thing is a bad thing", and I think I already had "too much" of Batman as of late. Enough is enough.
Never enough batman
I love the character of Wonder Woman 🧍♀️
Which actress do you think should play Wonder Woman in James Gunn DC projects in the DCU? Is it going to be someone who can pull off a Greek accent just like Gal Gadot?
The faxt we never gotten a wonder woman animated series is crazy.
Diana with Clark is really the best romance for her. If DC would stop getting in it's own way and JUST LET IT WORK it would be their most popular romance by far. It puts them where they belong. Together as the Mother & Father of Superheroes.
You are absolutely right
I agree but you know who deserves even more respect.. Starfire
Gal is actually much younger than people probably think. She could easily mix with a late 30s Batman.
The Batman 2004 was a horribly missed opportunity to start a new shared animated universe. I would have made shows for Flash, Green Lantern, and of course Wonder Woman. I would have replaced hawk man and green arrow with Diana and Shiara to make the team more like the first show to draw fans in.
I think First Born would be an awesome villain in live action, it would also be great to see Devastation get more love. I think if done well, Devastation can be a lot of fun. The best way I can describe her is: "What if Brightburn had the personality of Chucky?"
Fire vid
I've kinda like Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. Her performance is the best part of what made the DCEU look better.
As a Wonder Woman stanboy, I’ve been disappointed time and time and time again. She’s so under used. *Gal gadots take is not for me* It’s disappointing and it SUCKS. She’s just eye candy , tiny , bland , un-imposing, monotone. The DCAU movies has the best Wonder Woman hands down. She’s stoic , brooding, and aloof to modern civilizations ways yet she is passionate and caring. Her design is AMAZING. The Medusa movies depiction is good too and of course the OG JL series is amazing. Diana is now always either a Diabolical Tyrant (I do like flashpoint WW despite that movies huge flaws) or a antisocial mean b*tch side character with 30 seconds of screen time 😭😭😭😥😡😡😡😡 I pray to god we get a reboot of the character in all aspects soon.
How do you feel about the WonderBat ship from JLAS, and what if it was adapted in the DCU?
You did her more justice than DC ever will.
