You have a mistake in your lyrics it's "you can have my heart" but you have put "you can't"
The thing I love about Hollywood Undead (Even more so now) is they try their best to appeal to different crowds. They have multiple heavier sounding songs like Undead, Been To Hell, California Dreamin, Enemy, Empire etc. & then they also have songs you really can fucking let loose to like Pigskin, No. 5, War Child etc. & then there are songs like this, Nightmare, Outside, Coming Back Down, Pour Me etc. that just fucking hit home. You're always going to get a mixture of everything in the different beats, lyrics, vocals & just the overall tone of the song in every album and what makes them so kick ass is you can go into every album & find at least 2-3 songs that go perfectly with the type of mood you're in. HU4L!

I love both versions of HU. And I agree, Charlie ate up his verse, with no crumbs left behind too.
I’ve had a couple people get angry at how they have changed. I tell them “Change doesn’t mean their old stuff doesn’t exist anymore.” And they get mad at me. I’m always happy to meet other people like me who are like “it might not be “Swan songs” but more HU is always a good thing!~”

Runaway, sing, rain, gonna be okay, worth it, live fast die young, something to believe, and believe (believe is a bitter sweet song for me because the line “I can’t believe that when I breathe there’s something good inside of me” can be taken as hot a negative dismissal of that good thing, or a surprised remark depending on context, for me it’s a mood amplifier, if I’m in higher spirits it boosts it, if I’m down it lowers them a bit.) mix and match to taste and play till the brain gives the good chemicals

I love this bc all i could think about is my daughter im about to have and how much ive been through leading up to this point in my life....ive been an hu fan since i could comprehend what i was listening to and theyve helped me thrpugh so much bs in childhood and adulthood..i can only hope i instill the kinda strength they gave me in my daughter
was there for the premiere and been listening to it on loop for the past hour, HU is truly my life sometimes. It hits hard when you've been dealing with a ton of depression and issues recently and all you wanna do is run away but you want to be there for those you love and who love you back.

I would probably like the song more if it had a different sound/beat. I can't recall the name for this genre of music, but I think the song would have worked better as their usual rap rock/alternative rock or even nu metal sound. The beat in the background was distracting and I didn't like the autotune on all of the clean vocals.
Lyrics are sadly the only place the song shines. I'm all for experimental songs (BMTH and Falling in Reverse are some of my favorite bands), but this song doesn't really work for me other than the lyrics, sadly.

It's a great song but I wish Imanbek would have had more of an impact on the instrumentals. They always kill there songs but I feel like they are getting softer and softer with each album and each single, I wish we had the energy of the swan songs still
Back then they wanted recognition and the fame and new music feels like they're sending the message that getting big don't solve your problems.
Deuce was probably a big reason for that album's success. I didn't like the empire album.
American Tragedy and New Empire, Vol. 1 had more energy than Swan Songs IMO. Songs like "Been to Hell", "Tendencies", "Time Bomb", and "Enemy" especially.
