Logo ne 40 saal Pehle exit ka nahi socha isliye aj ki generation soch rahi hai.

What kind of examples were they for their children is a question we need to first ask.
Inside the house they treated each other badly but for the world they were happily married which made their children to doubt the sacredness of marriage.
Also if we look into the lives of sahaba divorce was not a big deal.
