You both make these characters so fun and full of life; hearing their playful bickering had me completely enchanted by this scene! Their care and admiration for the listener's character were so touching too! All of them clearly loved each other so dearly, it showed through in every single line! Am i the only one who is bothered by the concept of familiars? I find the idea of sentientbeings or animals for that matter to be servants to anyone kinda absurd. Its kinda slavery if you think about it.
I think it depends on the world. Some familiars are simply slaves sure, but other times, it's a contract that both sides agree to, and others they simply follow because they want to. I don't think it's an inherently evil system. But that's just my view on it.
