I have bs4 duke 390 2017 model, it has done 60k Kms till now, no issues what soever, not even the clutch plate....i think my bike is an exception, no other 390 have lasted this long without an engine rebuild, FYI it guns to 160 like a charm even today
I have serviced it at every 7.5k Kms, regular parts have been replaced like chain sprocket, clutch cable, break pads, throttle body cleaning etc
My friend has a 390 from 2013 no issues till date when it comes to engine till now, she sets the streets on fire

head chnge krna nhi krna tha..new valve nd seal lagne se play khtom ho jati hai...lath mei jakey jab log wohi krta hai..
I got an rc390 2018 2months ago with 22.4k kms on it. Now it's on 24.6k kms and it started making weird rattling and squeaking sounds when the engine gets to operating temperature. It hasn't affected the performance yet but gives me a heartache hearing the squeaky sounds riding under 30 to 50 kmph under 5k rpms.
Probably tappet issue or timing chain related i had the same issue on my r15 v3 if you don’t resolve it fast the bike will start to show pickup issues

Hey Arrya small suggestion use high octane like 95 or 100 your engine will do so good
I am using RC 390 bs3 superb bike I did a rebuild at 40k in KTM itself and it cost 25-30k in 2022
Tips for KTM users Replace these at 5k
Engine oil and filter
air filter
at 10K
Spark plug
Fuel filter
2years
Break oil
coolant
20K
spoket 15T-46T
mainly keep them gentil and use good fuel remember these are performance bikes
and if buy a used or you bike ran over 30K don't use engine flush if so u will rebuild the engine as arya did

@manvanthreddy6596 if you rebuild a KTM engine then it will work like an bs3 / bs4 ktm's or like the bs6 ?? Or the performance will be same as it was in the past during the initial days?
@@yashuftwxD ya it stays the same like bs3 performance will be the same but you need to be slow on the bike until 1k km everything looks fine
I heard after a rebuild ktm last long as factor fitted uses a low grade metal to keep weight and cost down for taxes and etc
@@manvanthreddy6596 interesting reply but then again don’t use engine flush after 30k makes somewhat sense but it’s an exception because in a case where engine has been well maintained by using a good engine (like fully synthetic oil from Motul or liquimolly but internationally KTM recommends another engine oil which does not come to India) and oil grade recommended by the manufacturer and doing time to time service and having somewhat knowledge of what you should not do in order to maintain it long term like you should know the limits of your motorcycle or car. If you follow these steps then rarely your engine will give up yes it may because of any reason but keeping these basic things in check reduces chances of these things happen significantly. Hope this helps XD

5:10 aur bajaj ki ns200 ke oil filter cap pe ktm likha hua hota aur ha ktm rc ,duke 200,250,390 ka engine bajaj ke designed aur india mei hi banta hei😅
Brother see Crank also because if piston damages it affects on crank. And if you are spending so much so replace crank also life your engine life will increase 😀

Hey Arya u did a mistake man new RC 390 2022 model has 2 fans on the radiator and it fits our old models also with a little adjustment if you bought a new one that would have made more sense if possible try for the new one it does really make so much of difference

I just had white smoke coming out of my 2017 duje 390, 20k kms done, never abused or rode the bike too hard, maintained too the hilt. Given it today for diagnostocs, hoping just the piston seals and gastkets would do the job. Fingers crossed.

I used to KTM RC 390 2017 even after maintaining every single bolt they used to get something , seal , head seal broken , even after spending so much mujhe laga abhi bas itna dal ke bhi free mind bike nahi chala sakhte toh kya he point hai , so now going for 2 cylinder bike , kyu ke ktm ke power ke adaat hai 😅 par reliability bhi chahiye so . I dnt know ke ye KTM aise he ke bajaj ka scene hai 😂

KTM's Unreliable?, they are reliable AF (if taken care of). I have a 1st Gen D390 with 35k Kms and still pulls like a mad machine (standard clutch) and im the 3 rd owner.
Compared to the japs, yes they're unreliable

Ive got a 2021 rc 390 with 12k odo, and IT LITERALLY started giving smoke today. Checked the engine oil level and turns out 2 weeks me more than a litre dissapeared. Ye toh bruh moment ho gaya nahi?

Yes u can, there are many people who ve done that in Europe. Not sure if they do it in ktm svc in india but it's possible since the chasis and other components are same.
