Do you mean the clutch claw? I forget been a long time since I played world. Maybe L2 to aim the Circle to shoot? I suggest watching some weapon tutorial videos as well! Thanks for your comment!
@@GodStatus100 since literally no other long sword tutorial on this app other than a guy with 10k views over 5 years has the answer I’ll make your search a lot shorter than mine. Supposedly it only comes after you successfully counter an attack with foresight slash such as a roar or physical. You’ll hear a little ‘ding’ and your sword will glow for a split second signaling you can do the extra slash.

When I counter R1 + O and It connects; it never lets do the extra slash to level my gauge .. and I’m over 100 hrs in😭
