I really hope you get to read this. I started listening to you about March 2020 and convinced my husband that we needed to buy a woodstove. When the unusual snows happened in Texas, my friends mother who lived in an assisted facility was without power for a week and it was in the 30s in their building. This was the second kick in the pants to get the stove. Today I’m sitting in our enclosed porch with my woodstove going. I’m so glad we took your advice because on July 4 of this year my husband passed away. I have such a sense of peace because of the stove.

As a former Royal Marine I fully understand the importance of preparation.
The single most important item in our decades long collection of supplies is our "how to..." library.

Perhaps one of the most useful comments….You can use your garden to keep you alive but it isn’t about just seeds! Start learning to garden NOW. Took me three seasons before I began to feel any sense of confidence. I would add that in our northern climates, as in Britain, a greenhouse is worth more than you would ever pay ..it adds a couple of months to your growing season. It’s something you can buy now….

3 monetary faults and their fixes.
Our world has 3 fundamental practices that are problematic.
If we dont understand the root causes of a problem we will address the symptoms or actors, not the causes.
The 1st is that large private and Central banks have obtained the Exclusive franchise to create ALL new Currency as Debt, with interest attached.
An increasing population needs an increasing currency, but it is all created as debt bearing interest.
This indebts the whole world, every person, every government, in totally unpayable debts, enslaving us all to bankers through personal debt or ever increasing excessive taxation, surcharges, permits, licences, registrations, regulations, fees, rates, duties, fines, levies, adinfinitum, of which an increasing volume goes straight to the debt creators, who created it for free. (At zero cost to themselves.)
2nd. Virtually no limitation plus fractional banking allows banks to effectively create massive new Currency volumes, blowing massive bubbles (in housing/stocks) which devalues everyone's savings, work, pension by raising all prices. Meanwhile taxation creates artificial demand for fiat currency.
      The fix ?
Go back to Sound Metalic Money and stop all banks and financial institutions loaning out more than they have on deposit. Return legal currency creation to national treasury departments with a zero Inflation policy.
This will not create inflation like some bankers/economists would like to have you think. It is not WHO creates currency that drives the constant devaluation of your money & work, it is THE VOLUME per population and productivity.
The banks increased the base currency supply by over 65 % since March 2020. This is further multiplied by fractional banking. You can't spend it off planet, and we've had no increase in population or productivity. How can it not devalue our savings, wages and retirement funds by at least 50% as it enters the economy ?
3rd. Fiat currency whether paper or digital has no intrinsic value, thus it cannot be used as a long term store of value, particularly in an ever expanding fiat system.
      The fix ?
Return to constitutional Silver, Gold, Copper & Nickle currency, designated by weight not cents/dollars. These will find their own local value. These can't be printed to oblivion, have intrinsic value, and are a safeguard against selfish human nature. Continue to keep the manufacture of Gold & Silver rounds by private mints & foundries to help keep the government mints honest as to premiums.
Do not allow bankers and economists trained in the current system to con you into believing there isn't enough Metalic Money.
You mix 1% gold, 99% copper, you have a Gold backed currency. Same with Silver and Nickle.
Mint 10th ounce, 2 10ths, 5 10ths and 1 ounce. Never give it a 'value number,' which is always a lie. Give it its weight & purity, and let the market place decide what it will buy.
Call it 'slow money" like 'slow food.' It's slower for sure, but it's 10 times better for you.
Necessary to nationalise mines & pay shareholders out in metal.
Correct these 3 Principles and >80 % of a nation's problems would disappear. Do not allow your masters the Debt slave creator's to tell you it can't be done. It is easily done. Beware. The WEF wants you totally enslaved with Digital currency.
Convert your garbage fiat currency into Gold and Silver or prepare for destruction.

@@mrme3717 when the system is the problem you dont change people in controll or single mechanics of it, you delete the system, civilization means control and it comes from fear, as long as we believe the illusion that we are some kings or gods and have to control the world as it would be ours, as long we suffer under it, no tribal culture world wide had any problems we had. If the civilization starts, it goes uncontrolable into always faster and more destructive mode, i cant go into detail because i must write a book here but thats fact, the need for control which is essential a lack of reality and trust is what creates this big lie, which changes nothing because in the end we eat, shit adn sleep like any other animal and than went to dust again, its man not accepting that he is not god, that we are in constant change and cant hold anything.

Same with other things that are essential, like for example, for cooking. Excellent advice! Thank you for your service, I had no ideas! I am a prepper and you’re list is phenomenal. Super simple items people should have anyway. I didn’t need a single thing on your list only because I’ve worried about issues for a long time and have been really preparing since 2019. Best part is everything that year was super inexpensive. Do not wait to get busy. I’m retired law enforcement. Don’t tell anyone what you’re doing. Ever. They will remember the second they realize they’re in trouble every conversation they’ve had with anyone who is preparing. If I could add anything to this list it’s build a cheap cinder block rocket stove you can learn to make in 10 minutes on UA-cam or purchase one online. I have a homemade one that boils water in minutes and a smoke free one I paid $150 US dollars for that is super good quality. I can cook anything with this. Learning skills in cooking and foraging also. I live in the mountains and on every hike once a week I look for foragable foods I can identify. You’d be amazed at how many things you can eat. Lastly if you want a highly nutritious food that you can grow anywhere without need for any good soil or watering, purchase purslane seeds. Purslane is what you think of as a weed that grows in sidewalk cracks. It’s got a spreading kind of branch with leaves like a portulaca or a succulent type leaf. You can add the leaves to a stew or salad. I grow this on purpose and no one will ever know it’s by design. They’ll never believe or suspect it’s actually one of the most nutritious foods on earth. When it flowers let it and then save the seeds when the pods start to open. Pray for the unbelievers who don’t know Jesus. All of this stuff is in the Bible and it means we are in the birthing pains around the world.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌎

This way you can concentrate on planting in the spring and get an earlier cool weather crop with out having to build the garden at the same time. Fall is a good time to have your soil tested so you know what your soil is lacking and add what is needed now so you are ready to go at the end of winter.

Don’t forget to learn about the plants around you and how you can use them. Plants that are high in saponins, such as English ivy or soap wort, can be boiled and the water used to wash your clothes.
Also oak twigs are very effective toothbrushes. They are antiseptic and help prevent gum disease. The bark of oak can also be boiled and the tea treats diarrhoea, something that would be useful if you drink unsanitary water or eat bad food by mistake.
If you’ve been walking for a long time and have pain in your feet, plantain leaves put in your shoes will ease swelling therefore making you more comfortable, this is a remedy native Americans used and I have tried myself so can confirm it works. Plantain is also edible (although I wouldn’t eat the feet leaves), a tea treats hay fever and the fresh leaves can be applied to insect or plant stings, irritated or infected skin (it has strong ‘pulling out’ properties that will clean a wound). If there’s an infection I would combine a mixture of herbs. Yarrow is also extremely useful for wounds.

I've got a British Birkfield gravity water purifier which I use everyday. It's the only water I drink. I started prepping as soon as I could, knowing the fiscal expenditure of the government would cause a crash down the line, especially the distruction of small businesses. Dried pulses, pasta and rice are essential plus something to flavour them with, oxo cubes etc. I'm far from wealthy and it's been slow going. The water filter was expensive but essential, I've also got spare filters. You can build your own from 2 large tubs and a spigot as the Yanks say. There's plenty of videos on UA-cam. Pray for peace but prepare for war as Neil says. Hunger will breed savagery so be prepared to defend your house regardless of our insane laws. Stock up on tinned food too. I haven't got a lot but I will be sharing with family who've ignored my constant warnings but what can you do. Hard Times are coming so do what you can. Preserving skills, you need to know how to dry/can your excess produce for Winter. Solar garden lights are cheap & can be used inside at night if need be. Rain water tank/s to collect & store clean water, you can get thin ones that fit along the side of your house if space is limited. Thank you, Neil. I've got all these items and a few more.
    You will also need:
    1. Shoes - multiple pairs of walking/running shoes as well as durable boots
    2. Protection - all types of options here. If you use firearms, you'll need to make sure to have lots of ammo and cleaning supplies.
    3. Comfort/hobby items - help to maintain a sense of normalcy. Yarn for knitters, paint & canvas for painters, pencils & paper for sketches, etc. Also having extras of favorite snacks, blankets, teas, etc.
    4. Entertainment - provides a distraction from daily stressors. Board games, cards, etc.
    5. Hand-held walkie-talkies/radios provide local communication systems when cellular is down
    6. Storage containers for small things and larger items. You won't be able to run to the store and get ziplock bags. Start collecting plastic or glass containers now. You can use the large gallon-size glass containers to store dry goods for decades by adding a few bay leaves and keeping in an ambient, light-reduced environment.
    7. Luxury items are excellent for bartering. Coffee, tea, chocolate, alcohol, tobacco, OTC meds, etc. These will be very hard to find and as valuable as silver to some people.
    8. Tires/treads for vehicles and bikes.
    9. Spices - this will help normalize eating beans and rice for extended periods if you can change the taste.
    10. Know your neighbors. Everyone has a skill set that can be utilized in an emergency. This will also help you be prepared in knowing who to trust and who to watch.
Hope this is helpful. Keep up the good work!

Fleece and wool blankets have different pros and cons. The reason the military chooses wool is generally for fire resistance that fleece does not have. That said if I were to get both wet, ring them out and make a choice of what one I am going sleep under, I would choose fleece. I have a couple of each so I have choices, as well as cotton sheets so I can use the wool without it irritating my skin.

All good advice. Personally I think it’s important to keep in mind that stored provisions are a stop gap measure. If you don’t have a fall back to stored provisions you will go through those provisions and cycle back around to the panic state. Being able to produce food could be your salvation. It generally takes about three years to learn the basics of gardening before you can produce some of your own food. Many people would object saying they live in the city and can’t grow food. What that actually means is, depending on what you think is going to happen, among your first priorities is to get out of the city. Don’t be like the naysayers during the coved crisis who rushed to the market to get things they need only to find that every person in town was at the market. Then they accused others of hoarding and some even become violent. A sustainable lifestyle is the best provision.
