    Great climbing, but didn't anyone else think those whispered route names where kind of ridiculous? :P

    • @evanpkto
      @evanpkto 7 років тому +20

      Yeah I was distracted by that. I felt like the editing was trying a bit too hard to make climbing seem more than what it is. If you are a climber you don't need it seem like anything more cause you're already sold on it.

      taascheee yeah, there's really no need to do that, it's kinda creepy.

      The title is Dreamland, so the whole video is supposed to be seen as a dream, I guess. I liked it, finally something different than all climbing vids :)

      I'm fine with some good ol climbing videos. I give it an "A" for effort, "D" for the weak script. And a C+ for camera work. I get what they're trying to do though, I just think the whispering is creepy

    Don't understand why people are upset about the artistic approach, original and refreshing!

      I was a fan of the lighting for sure! The whispering was a little funny, but who cares. Def nice to see something a little different from the standard climbing video. This STILL had awesome climbing in it. They never forgot what they were making a film about.

    • @KaviJivan
      @KaviJivan 6 років тому +3

      That's fair, but personally I thought it was way over the top. It felt somewhat distracting from the actual climbing. I would have liked to have seen a couple more burns on the climbs so I could get a better idea of cruxes and what they overcame. It felt like the climbing was second to the artistic direction of the video. Personally I would have liked it more if they talked more about the climbs. I would also give the following advice: use words for things that can't be seen and show us things can be seen.

    This is awesome. LT11 never disappoints. From "Big Worm' to 'Park Life', 'Granite Earth' and many, many more. Fantastic visuals and editing, artistically done with the musical score always being an expertly curated selection of something fresh and underground (Jon Glassberg should DJ on the side).

    Kind of over produced. Obviously the whispering was super weird, lighting background boulders wasn't great either. The day/night transitions were super cool. Less is more with all the cut scenes and artsy business.

    impressive editing, lighting and camera work but it felt more like a corporate film rather than the atmosphere capturing videos you've made in the past such as park life and swiss account. still a good film but a bit much for my taste, not a fan of the whispering either.

      But you can search up Louder Than 11 - DREAMLAND (on soundcloud), and the artist is Fizzix Productions.
      It just plays the whole soundtrack from this awesome film
