- On January 15, 2013 we went in for our first ultrasound. The baby was too little to see but according to the yolk sac the baby was about 4 weeks and one day. We didn't get to see much but this confirmed that I was indeed pregnant with our angel baby. :)
At 4wks you cant really see anything besides a empty hole you really start seeing the sac and the baby around 6 1/2 weeks.🌈💜
Not an expert or anything but I’ve work in fertility and obgyn offices and what I’ve learned is 4 weeks is too early to see anything. Normally, you should start seeing something around 6 weeks or above. Only thing they can possibly check at 4 weeks is if the uterine lining is thick which is what you want. If the uterine lining is thin then that can indicate you are about to start a period.
My upt shows faint line.. i am having irregular periods.. my blopd test shows 153 hcg... i had very light brown discharge.. so dr scaned immediately after my blood test.. she said my sac is small so she sugested progestron injection for 7 days.. is small sac is a prblm?? I want a healthy baby...

I have a good friend that's 6 weeks and she went for her first ultrasound and they told her they can't find the baby all they see is an empty sac she is very worried that there is no baby in there i hope and pray there is for her cause she has been looking forward to this baby for a long time i asked you all to please pray for her and the baby

For anyone who didn’t see a sac at their 4 week ultrasound: Pregnancy is counted from day 1 of your last period (the first day you bled, spotting doesn’t count). If you don’t have a “textbook” 28-day menstrual cycle, and you ovulated later than the standard CD14, your baby won’t be as far along as this woman’s was (even though you are both labeled “4 weeks” pregnant), so a sac might not be visible yet.

I am 5 week pregnent when i went to the first scan the doctor said its 6th week and 1 day according to my last period and they said they just see the gestational sac and they said there is no yolk sac i was worried but after 2 days i had my second scan and they saw yolk sac and tiny bump and said you are now 5 weeks and 3 days pregnent bcz it was too early before and my periods was irregular so they couldn't count sooo m happy today now :) plz pray for me

I went to the hospital 2 days ago was diagnosed with pregnancy was actually going because I had major pain for some odd reason but ended up being told I'm pregnant 3 weeks to be exact the doctor said he don't see a heartbeat thats whats scaring me if i am pregnant, i was wondering when does my baby get his or her heart and also I didn't think it would show on a pregnancy test this early, I'm really scared and nervous because I have had a miscarriage before and don't want to have another one I'm also worried because I don't want to get my hopes up if it's not true I wish I could have known when I was further along I'm happy if I really am, they also did an ultrasound I don't know if that's how they confirmed it if so I want proof and I just want me and my unborn child to be ok god bless everyone merry Christmas

Just had my first ultrasound and we didn't see anything yet I'm to early going back in 2 weeks hopefully my baby will be there growing perfectly
Kayla Ellison you guys I think when the doctors use Our Last Menstrual day as the start of our Pregnancy most don't consider the fact that if using LMP as the start the first two weeks you are not truly pregnant so the HCG levels should be based on the time of Conception not LMP.
After my doc stated that my HCG levels were indeed doubling but per the ultrasound/transvaginal we can only see your uterus being prepared for birth but no fetus.
I asked him why would you see a fetus at time I was only 3weeks but based on LMP the doctor labeled me a 5weeks and in error he was looking at HCG levels for 5weeks(LMP) vs 3weeks(conception). I have always tracked my period which helped me to be aware of my body.. I knew when conception happened so logically I couldn't understand why would he compare my hcg levels to 5weeks vs. 3weeks. I seen his light bulb go off.. hope this helps or if I'm missing something please inform me.. this is really confusing

I went to my doctor today ....I take 3test before I go it was positive an he take one an his own was too I don’t have a regular period so I don’t know how far I am so he take Ultrasound we didn’t see anything but Hey take a blood test so tomorrow I will know how far I am he says am about 3-4 weeks

back then in 1950 or later we only had 2d ultrasounds Later we had 3d and 4d

weird I took a pregnancy test at 3 weeks and I got negative. I'm supposed to be 4 weeks and I feel pregnant but also nervous to take a test again lol.I'm hoping maybe this is a scare because 3 babies make me nervous lol

Anomaly scan is a very important sonography to have a healthy baby many anomalies can be diagnosed by this sonography

My 18 yr old grandson goes into army on June 6th. His 16yr old grl friend just told him, she is 4weeks pregnant. Any thoughts on this situation. Her parents will probably press charges. Sniffy sad. I will be a great grandma, if this baby is born.
I have seen this happen to young soldiers all the time. I'm sorry to say this but I think she got pregnant on purpose to make him marry her especially if she knew he enlisted in the Army. Young girls trap young soldiers into marriage all the time because soldiers get housing allowance, free healthcare and it will guarantee her an easy life. Some parents of girls encourage their daughters to do this and even aid them in trapping a soldier.
I could be wrong but this is very common unfortunately.

peal khan I did I went back at 9 weeks baby was healthy with a strong heartbeat they also did one at 14 weeks because they couldn't get the baby to be still long enough to read the heartbeat baby was on its face kicking like crazy trying to flip over and then o had one two days ago that I paid for and found out that I'm having a girl

Hi… I had my frozen embryo transfer on 19th June. The embryos were kept freezer for nearly 6months. Then.. I had my transfer. At 2nd july, I had HCG of 325.9 . I took my ultrasound scan on 16th July. Only gestational sac of 9.5mm and yolk sac could be seen embryo couldn’t be found. They told me to repeat the ultrasound scan 2 weeks later.My hcg on 16th July was 9355. Is there any chance of embryo to be visible in the next scan?

My sis was pregnant I showed in ultrasound but still negative in urine test so please ignore urine test and do blood test or if the doctor is telling it's positive then what else you need.

Lines were so vivid (I dont know if it's due to the amount of hcg?)
I've been pregnant before so I know what the symptoms are and sure enough..

I got my IUD out last month only because it wasn't in and a week before I had unprotected sex and I think I might be pregnant. I had a period for about 5 days after the IUD coming out. I took a test at 3 weeks maybe it was too early to know it came out negative. I'll maybe take another one next week

I’m 4 weeks and 2 Days today too❤️ the embryo is to little to look at, that’s why you need to come back in 2 weeks, because you can see the baby and the heartbeat. The embryos heart is not beating yet or is to little😘

Same happened to me. I did home pregency test and it was 2 dark pink line. On the same day I wnt to doctor and did scan but she can't see anything. She told me to come after 15 days. Pray for me please 🙏

This is exactly how my little one looked like today on our 2nd OB visit. The first one could not see her/him yet as it was too early. My OB said I am about 5 weeks but I think 4 weeks and 1 Day is more accurate lol

Thechosenprovince Sometimes people need earlier ultrasounds if there’s any issues to worry about like cysts, endometriosis or pid for example.

It's called blighted ovum,it means there is no embryo inside just gestational sac.Why your doctor explained this to you.I'm sorry but you have to ask your doctor.
