Ben Simmons was over hyped from the gitgo. He was never that good. The NBA hype machine rammed him down our throats and the 76ers front office rammed him down Doc Rivers' throat who rammed him down Joel Embid's throat until it became obvious that he couldn't play.

Why waste time on Ben when there's about 5,000 other players in the G league, let alone the whole world, who have 10x the drive that he ever had. Even with a successful 2-3 surgeries he's not even an enjoyable player to watch. He's barely averaging 6 points per game and 5 assists. Not worth the breathe tbh...

Ben Simmons should be out the league. Only teams who are fools are paying him a salary
People need to understand that Ben isn’t a bad guy, and he isn’t lazy. 1st He started to fall off during covid and numerous studies have shown that millions of Americans developed severe mental health issues such as anxiety in the duration of the pandemic. 2nd while most likely in a potentially suicidal depression he received multiple death threats and had all of his best friends and teammates slam him on national television. Next he was criticized for “abandoning” the 76ers even though they were refusing to pay him his salary and he was severely injured (we can now c he was not faking). On top of that he most likely believed that unless he underwent a major change of scenery. Even today people act like he is not even trying when he is clearly injured. I am not saying Ben is right and I honestly dislike his play style but in a world where people feel sympathy for fat people staying away from ice cream Ben deserves more than a little bit of sympathy.
FR people need to learn what real problems are and they can start by looking at Ben
