This is not a funny joke. I myself suffer from Renfield Syndrome and it is hard to deal with the need to drink blood when it kicks in. It;s not a "Oh, I like the taste of blood, I think I'll have some" its "Oh shit, I don't want to drink blood but I NEED to or I feel like I am going to pass out." make it more clear that this is not serious or you're gonna piss off alot of people
+Angel Phoenix Sorry about these idiots. For what it's worth, I'm sure I'm not the only person who clicked on this trying to actually LEARN about Renfield's Syndrome. >.
Angel Axel Kay Phoenix we're in the same boat. I have renfield syndrome too my friends knows about it and they accepted me for who i am. Others may think im crazy and need to see a psychiatrist but i myself know that im not.
When I told my friends about the renfield syndrome, they taught that i was 'the alternative one'. It's really unpleasant. I hope this trend will end soon
I think I have this. I frequently have a desire for blood. It's not just "hm, I'd like some right now", it's rather like craving water, only it kind of passes with time and I don't die in the end, obviously. I was tested for anemia - don't have it. I also took iron and B12 on my own - no results.
This happened at school. I have clinical vampirism and I felt like a danger at school. My friend's thumb was bleeding badly and I got scolded by the teacher for drooling all over my notebook and bag. My friends say that I creep them out and they think it's all a joke but when my best friend got wounded, I almost threw my notebook at the teacher. Because the teacher told me to focus and the blood was dripping and I can't help myself. But I learned to discipline myself. I mean, what can you do if you have clinical vampirism? You can be called a freak all the time and you need to stay calm at the sight of blood. They need to accept us for what we are. We should not be called bloodsuckers. And no joke man. We need respect. I mean, I bite myself all the time and I'm only 10 years old. Sometimes, my sharp teeth can trigger the skin but my parents tell me to stop or I'm grounded. It might seem like a curse. But that doesn't mean we do not deserve to be treated like a regular human and not be called names and all and not be a threat to society.
I was lucky enough to be a part of this film - these guys are FANTASTIC!!! Next stop - VEGAS!!! And, the police officer is cool, too - he's a real SCMPD officer and loves theater - he's actually very, very good in this.
It's a real thing and most folks don't talk about it, not the ones that are seriously dealing with reinfeild's.to make a bad situation worse,if you're Romanian and have another condition called erithropoietic porphyria, which is literally an allergy to UV light,as in the sun, even a tanning booth that's freezing, then no matter how hot it is you must wear clothes from head to toe.never tell anyone about anything.this of course is an extremely rare thing to happen, however, I've seen it with one eccentric Romainian person
Bruh no kidding this is some serious shit . This all started when i got cut on my thumb by a knife and i was camping with my friends so there wasn't cloths or bandages so they told me to suck it up first i was like "eeww I'm not a demon and who likes sucking their own blood" but the wound was deep so i had no other choice but to suck it so when i closed my eyes to suck i seriously thought it was gonna taste gross but it wasn't that bad i started liking it so i got obsessed with the sight of dripping of blood . And then i was at my school and we were reading something the whole atmosphere was quite silent and a student with the last bench got wounded by biting her lips and her teeth were sharp so the blood started dripping and i couldn't really help myself but stare at her with all the blood overflowing from her lips and my fcking bad luck i was at first bench that day and the teacher was like could you focus at your book please?and she kept saying it . It was hard but i started controlling my self
The part where she says smoking is OK is concerning. Get your lung cancer on a stick away from me! Also isn't that cannibalism, but with drinking? like the beverage that comes with human flesh? Not trying to offend anyone but things like this concern me when they think it's OK, when it's not.
No. Cannibalism is the consumption of flesh from the same species. This can be as simple as eating skin, like skin that peels off the lip. But ingesting blood from a wound isn't cannibalism.
this is a real syndrome it is real i know someone with it it is not a joke.
Really?
Hi josh haugen , how are you ? Can you please help me about my thesis all about reinfield syndrome ?

You should have battles with werewolves, on the streets of Savannah - that would be awesome!
I like to the smell and taste of blood. I just will not act Gothic and weird like these guys.
