What part of "the airline lost 4 first class seats" do you NOT understand? The A320 planes used on that route normally had 12 seat, there were mechanical issues, but instead of cancelling the flight completely, they swapped it out for an A319, only 8 first class seats. 4 people had to be moved, he was offered a coach seat to his destination but cried like a baby over it. He was offered a better deal than the 22 coach passengers who were booted completely because the total capacity of the A319 has only 128 seats total vs 150 for the A320. You might know that they A319 is a smaller plane than the A320 if you actually travelled by air on a regular basis. Apparently you don't and didn't know that, or maybe you just didn't care. Followers of these attention-starved rappers are more worked up about being "dissed" than growing up and dealing with reality.

Some of you can’t hear or see what the TMZ report revealed. The airline issued statement said the airline apologized because they did not make the decision to take his seat based upon the proper order so they admitted they made a mistake and he should have never been selected to move.

There's nothing to sue about. This is an issue of poor service. AA was slimy for this but they didn't break any laws and no one was injured but pride and pride doesn't win lawsuits.

@@tinyking11 Lemme ask you this question. How many frequent flier miles do you think your rapper hero clown has vs. the other passengers? Domestic first class on AA is typically full of Gold and Platinum members, people who travel for business on a regular basis, probably a couple of million milers among them. Miles talk when it's an issue of who gets to stay and who gets bumped. Somebody who just flies a couple times of a year isn't going to have the same status, end of story.

Even if “I’m a celebrity” is gross, I’m still Team Juvenile (dumb name) for the fact he was seated and he paid for that seat. That they gave priority to someone else not even seated yet is also, another mistake with American Airlines. This all should have been handled before anyone boarded.

Nope. You say that TMZ guy 1 because you’re White. There were plenty of White, non-celebrities (meaning less media attention), yet Juve’s in the front row and they ask him and him. Also note he is in a pair of seats with his wife.
Not cool AA. They could have asked for volunteers to move to coach or move to another flight. How many passengers were flying solo? Why ask someone who came in a pair? Especially because he is sitting with his wife. It’s ridiculous on many levels.

Yeah it happens when they change to a smaller plane . When it happens they usually go by whoever paid more for their ticket some first class tickets are discounted they go to those first. They definitely should have informed him before he got on the plane . He should be one of elite members that get the special lounges they never move those people

Out of all the people sitting in First Class, why did the staff pick him to move? Was it because he's Black?
Usually the pick the last person that booked that area. I can't imagine it's because he's black although that's what he's implying.
They pick people based on MILES, and it works both ways - and that's pretty much the same on EVERY airline. When there are extra seats in first class, they pick whoever has the highest miles or frequent flyer status and give them a complementary upgrade (happened to me several times back when I held Gold status on Northwest). When they lose seats in first class (like what happened here, when the A320 was replaced with a smaller A319), those with the lowest miles will get bumped in the opposite direction. Not about skin color. People who travel by air on a regular basis know how the system works, people who only get on a plane once or twice a year scream "racism" due to their ignorance.😐

Normally, the attendants beg ALL travelers to give up their seats by offering first-class seats in another plane and cash. They don't pick on the black man in first class and tell him to move to the back. The days of Jim Crow are over.

@@maryannscribner1922 How do you fly first class if there's no seat for you? The original aircraft was an Airbus A320 - 150 seats total, 12 first class. It had some maintenance issues, so AA swapped it out with an available A319 - 128 seats total, only 8 in first class. At least Boy Clown Celebrity Rapper was offered a coach seat to his next stop, if that flight was fully booked, there were (150-128) = 22 passengers who were bumped completely off the flight. How come nobody seems to care about them? 😐
