How to end a Q&A performance: "Not all of us want to faint on stage." 🤣 Good one! I'm experimenting with indoor fireworks and a laser show like Tony Robbins.
Great review & some very interesting thoughts Thanks Nique !!
A friend surprised me with Frameworks for my birthday. It is a very good and workable system. Clearly Looch put a lot into its development. The video with Marc Paul is great. I have mixed feelings about the props. On the one hand, it is nice you get everything you need in the kit: the pre-printed cards, the box for performance, and the box everything comes in. On the other hand, instead of the props (which are not really necessary) I think I would have preferred a full size book with a more reasonable font and more detail on answering different types of questions. All in all though, very solid release and definitely recommended.
Hi Nique, dynamite 🎉review! Very thoughtful, thorough, informative, and enjoyable! Your friend, David
Much thanks for always tuning in! 🙏🏻
Nice review, thanks. Millard Longman's Acidus Q&A is also a very good one that people rarely talk about. Scott Creasey's new book on Q&A is so good and I am reading it again. What I don't understand with frameworks is, why does it include preprinted cards and a special box when he says in the promo video you don't need to use the special cards and can replace the box locally?
Thanks for stopping by; I do intend to check out Multidimensional Q&A at some point! “Q&A Simplified” alone from MMM is already an extremely practical routine.
As for Frameworks, well… I suppose there wasn’t a need to supply any of that. To me it’s more a concept or a routine more than anything else. There’s the argument that it should come with everything you need ready to go etc, but yes, I do understand your point.
How to end Q&A Act? .....
How about producing Jumbo Botania from a TBC Box
🌺🌷💐🌼🌻🪻
Kidding aside.... Good Reviews Nique
OMG don’t tell me you actually saw that show? I only did it once, I swear! 🤣🤣🤣
@@niquetan 🤫🤪😁 Pssssst I won't tell anyone
Many mentalists hate Q & A. This is shame because when the setting is right audiences love it!
@@adeadlysin272 agreed on being overwhelmed. That was a better choice of words. People love hearing about themselves, and all performers should be aware of this. Even when I used to perform the effect, “fortuneteller’s book of days,” the readings often received more applause, then the effect itself!
I think a lot of mentalists would like to perform Q&A if they felt they could pull it off effectively, but are intimidated by it, or as Adeadlysin says they feel overwhelmed just thinking about it.
Please review Multidimensional Q&A by Scott Creasey next. I'm curious how that 400 page book compares to the 40 page pamphlet that comes with Frameworks.
@@adeadlysin272 Thanks! I think I'll get Multidimensional Q&A as soon as I get paid lol. I like the idea of just using double blank cards and not having to use a box.
@@adeadlysin272 Scott's is really, really good. I can now do a Q&A for a group of almost any size with just my business cards :)
@@adeadlysin272 Getting ahead with multiple cards is so good. Before I got Multidimensional I was using Business Card Q&A to get like 7 ahead but I did the steal differently than he teaches. The simplicity of some of the handlings Scott teaches are so devious and I just love doing Q&A with just business cards and a pen. Multidimensional Q&A is phenomenal. I may have to get frameworks eventually too. Does it ever end, lol.
And now I may have to get Scott’s book. 🤣
@@niquetan In your video you mention being more comfortable performing Q&A for smaller, more intimate audiences. In Scott's book he explains a way to perform an intimate Q&A for a very large audience. I think you will love reading Multidimensional Q&A. So many great ideas.
Great Review as always :D
Thank you man.
Hi Nique, any follow up yet on your performance with this?
Did you perform it? How did it go?
I have a neuro muscular condition which means my thumbs don't work very well and I can't feel what I can't see. So, simple sleight of hand isn't rally an option. How vital is that for this to be workable for me?
Hi Jonathan, I’m sorry to hear that. For this, you do require some basic sleight of hand for some of the phases, and so this might not be the best suited method for you.
Hey Nique, have you performed this yet? If yes, can you tell us how it went? Thanks.
To be honest, I haven’t. I’m looking to do so asap, but while I am performing these days, I just haven’t got my preferred venue to try this out as yet.
@@niquetan Oh okay, I look forward to hearing about it once you get your preferred venue.
How fooling it is compared to The line up, you would say?
Just asking because I thought The line up is not very fooling (I mean even for lay people)...
6:17 some commentary on moments like this would be great content
What would you like to hear about? I’ll see what I can do.
I would love to own Q/A
I love to wow audiences
But I just don't like card tricks because I have to palm and a person may say I saw that your a cheat
