I like his hair personally. Reminds me of the old X-Men evolution design model wise,but the outfit itself is pretty unique. The hair change during berserker rage is peak af too
i love that they’re trying different looks for the default skins. it’s smart to put their own spin on it bc we all know they’re gonna have a ton of familiar costumes.

I'm not surprised he's not a Vanguard. In games like this being legitimately big is pretty important for a tank, both to act as a meat shield for teammates and to draw enemy fire. Being short is one of Wolverine's defining physical attributes in the comics, so I always expected him to be more of an ambush DPS
If you notice something about his passive charge in the center of the screen it goes away when he right-clicks, probably doing more damage the higher number you've got
They can say all they want with the roles 'not as defined as other games' but in those other games the roles are also not that defined - supports damaging, DPS having abilities normally on supports or tanks, tanks literally just designed to DPS. If I see a Wolverine within the first week of launch play like a vanguard I'll eat a hat. i know they will be feeding :D
Once they add Deadpool, they should make it so every time he dies, he just respawns or gets up in the same spot his corpse is instead of going all the way to respawn as a passive
I don't really think much of what the devs said about classes, because the devs themselves still run 2-2-2 team comps in the showcase streams from the past few days because that's what's optimal
If you look when the shield initiates the far left ability is in yellow so ut is in use so I think it is a passive that has a cool down like Adam warlocks cocoon
They’re definitely gonna add colossus to the game, if he has the same team up with wolverine I hope hulk can throw colossus too, the Strat would be (colossus) throws Wolverine, (hulk) throws colossus, then hulk jumps into battle and have 2 vanguard and one dps just dealing massive casualties
It looks like when he vomes back to life, he has a certain wibdow to kill someone or his health will leave. If you pay attention thebshields turn to health after a kill
It might be that his cheat death will only last if he kills someone before his shields run out. That would be a great balance move because once you trigger that passive, you can’t just run away and play safe.
They gave him the Drill Claw move from MvC. I need him to get some MvC voicelines. I want to hear him yell "Berserker Barrage" 😂 Oh and Cyclops better say "BEHOLD! Optic Blast!" and do the crossed arm pose for his Ult
I’m assuming with his shout ability it gives him a window of time where he is unkillable and if his hp reaches 0 then he gains a % of hp as shield and if he kills someone during the duration of that shout it converts that shield to hp and lets him keep fighting kind of like a combination of Kali ult from smite and clove ult from valorant
I could just never imagine wolverine as vanguard. No ability of him ever about protecting teammates or providing shield, it’s perfect that he is the tanky duelist that just shred thru enemies.
Okay but Venom doesn’t protect teammates either. It has nothing to do with protecting teammates and everything to do with just being a pure offensive and defensive beast who doesn’t die in the comics.
Vanguards aren't just hard to kill -- they also shield their teammates or do some kind of crowd control. That ain't Logan's style, bub. He protects his friends by taking down the enemies.

I feel like if there was another category for offesnive heroes maybe it wouldn't feel bloated, like a Flank/Frontline or Hybrid class

I feel like the shield death thing is a side effect of the E. It looks like damage mitigation but if it goes over he gets the shields.
