They've got all kind of different skincare kits for all kind of skin issues. My favorite is the brightening and clarifying. Amazing stuff and a lot more affordable than Obagi.

I have been using red light therapy for two years now. Its one of the few things that really, really make a difference (I did 5 CO2 laser treament which gave me overal less results). What is important though, is to use an antioxidant serum with it (for example, the EUK 134 from the Ordinairy). It counteracts the oxidating during the treatment. I noticed a big difference in the speed in results.
Hi Lisa! I'm going to be 49 this year, as well. I have another brand of the same type of device and you've inspired me to start using it again. I really noticed a difference, too, but became lazy. yes ,you look amazing. I have been on a mission to take really good care of my skin and I have noticed a huge difference. I am 53 and I get comments every day how good I look and people can't believe that I am 53 . I feel souch better. I've been working hard of my skin for about 8 months now and I have been on retinol with no problems at all . I will be looking into this also . it looks interesting!!
That's wonderful :-) The Tretinoin that I use is generic for Retin A and it is similar to retinol but Tretinoin is stronger. When I first started using it about 8-9 years ago my face was red and flaky. Now I have increased the strength from .05 to 1% and I have no side effects.

I loved watching this! There aren't too many skin care routines out there incorporating anti aging products. My thirty something self needs some help! I definitely agree... there are so many products out there that don't live up to their claims. It's all about the ingredients! Great video!

You really need to check into blue and red at the same time. Because blue and red are counterproductive to each other . Because they do opposite effects . Read wants to stimulate your production and blue is trying to reduce the production. I’m not saying you can’t do them within a certain amount of time but at the exact same time it doesn’t quite work.

Hi. You look great. But, I will say that I too looked at least 10 years younger my entire life, until I turned 50. At 30 I looked 18, at 35 I looked in my early 20's...40 I looked 25...until I turned 50. No one believed I was my age and would gasp and make a huge scene when I would tell them my age...my whole life, since I can remember. They'd ask to see my I.D. everywhere I went, getting cared to buy alcohol till I was at least 48. I thought I was invincible to aging and it would last forever. But, the turning point was 50. I literally woke up on my birthday and it all changed dramatically after that. I'm now 52 and still do everything naturally to maintain my skin and have my whole life. I too have never done botox or fillers...just took really good care of my skin. The difference between myself and you however is that I am Irish, very fair skin. People with fair skin age a lot sooner. So, it is rare that someone with fair skin ages so well, like myself. The secret was that I always protected my skin (at least face) from the sun. You look so young mainly because you have dark skin. Just like they say black don't crack. The more melanin in your skin the younger it will stay over time. Yes, you take care of your skin, but I can guarantee you that if you weren't so tanned skin (naturally, from your origin) you would have aged a lot sooner. Good for you! Enjoy it while it lasts, as from one person that thought she was ageless to another, when it finally does happen - where you start to actually age, it sucks even more than it does for someone who stopped getting carded at 30, like most. This is because we place so much importance and emphasis on looking young and everyone around us believes we are young as well, that when the time comes that this all changes (and it will) your self image is so damaged and your identity of who you are, or once was is bruised at best . You look in the mirror and say "who are you?". I know this is depressing and sad, and I'm not trying to be negative or elicit fear here, but I want to warn you that soon you too will need to try to have "acceptance" and deal with you as an "older" person. Let me tell you, it's not easy. I'm saying this to all the woman out there who are reading this. Because you are the type that read and obsess over the latest youth in a bottle or beauty gadget to ward off the inevitable. Our society has made all of this (aging) even more difficult because we base so much importance on looking good, young, beautiful forever. And, once that's gone you feel like a ghost walking around. Your life as you know it changes. You are now irrelevant. The worst word in history. Our society treats people who show age, wrinkles as if they are no longer important - or damaged somehow. Men who once catered to you everywhere you go...tripping over themselves to talk to you, or help you...people starring at you & offering tons of compliments, telling you how beautiful and great you look, will cease. Yes, you'll still look good "for your age". You'll soon despise that phrase, by the way. But, the beginning to the end is when they (grocery check out workers...everyone around you) will refer to you as "MAM" now. They (people) used to just say "Have a nice day", or "how can I help you"...with nothing on the end. Now, they think it's "respectful" to call you MAM everywhere you go. You'll want to ask them "I'm sorry, but am I your mammy? Are you confusing me with your Grandma??". It will make you very angry at first. You'll want to tell them - "Just wait a few years down the road when you start getting called MAM and then see how much you like it! It's not respectful at all - you may as well say "Have a nice day you old fart"! And, you hope that you have other, more important things in life than your looks, like friends, family, a career...life. But, when your main focus is beauty blogging and staying young as long as you can - take it from someone who knows, it's going to be twice as hard on YOU when you no longer see that same young, beautiful, gorgeous, stunning (these are all the adjectives you're referred to before "the change" happens) person looking back in the mirror. It will happen, no one is immuned to it.
I believe that beauty comes from the inside and shines outward. I am becoming more and more comfortable in my own skin as I get older. I will be 50 in 2018 and decided to let my natural gray hair grow out. If my appearance and the fear of getting older was all I cared about I would be full of Botox and keep dying my hair. I want to embrace what i look like at any age even as I see the signs of aging. The beauty from within will never stop shining. To me that is true beauty and that will never fade ❤️
Yes. I agree with hdangelo1. I had always looked way, younger than my age! No one would ever believe, how old I was in my 30's and 40's - many during this time, would say I looked 10 to as much as 15 years younger than my age! Then just after turning 50 years old, it was like a switch went off, and I have aged at least 4 to 5 years, per year, over the last 3 years! I too, am having a very hard time with losing my young looks. Now, I am treated with the Mam, and the extra respect, that the younger generation gives to the older generation. It is hard, as I have friends several years younger than me, who still look incredibly young, who are still taking selfies, and appearing like they could pass for in their 30's. I sometimes catch, a woeful look, from them, as well, which hurts even worst. They too are unaware, of what happens after the change happens. It has been especially hard, as now I feel like I do not fit in with them, and should be hanging out more with people in their 60's or 70's. Not really, yet that is what this messed up society makes me feel like sometimes. The stress is going from the being perceived as 29, 10 years ago, and now appearing like 50's to possibly even 60 - that is 25 to 30 year aging in 10 years, look wise. I am trying to come to grips, with this as well, and sorry, I am being so negative. I pray that the American society, will get less youth obsessed. I fell into the lethal trap. Life is not supposed to be over at 50. Life can be vibrant, and youthful after this time, too! Lets get real!
Yes. It happened to me too. But, now I am using light therapy another on not Revive. And people are beginnig to complement me again. Whay have u done. I am 58. Where I live after 55 you get a retiree discount. I woyld always get it without any question asked. The other day, dinning with my friend tje waiter asked : The two of you get the discount? My friend is 73. The question was aimed at me. So, she taught I was younger than 55. Good news. I have been using the light therapy consistently for maybe 2 months. Of course my jowls still there and still have skin spots, lax skin and wrinkles...But it seems they are clearing... and look 4 years younger in 2 months...great news for me.... I am sharing my info to give a bit more hope that still over 58 you can look good.
Lisa,do you protect your face and neck from the sun every time you go out also? I ask because red LED light CREATES collagen in your skin but uv light from the sun (and tanning beds only)DESTROYS collagen in your skin.

Thank you Beth :-) Out of anything that I save and invest in skin care is #1. Since I started taking care of my skin I have literally reversed the aging process. Amazingly my skin looks better now than it did 10 years ago :-) I do have another video on how I mix my natural oils but I was not using all of the oils that I use now. a friend of mine swears on coco nut oil. from our last visit on the seychelles she brought 2 l of that original virgin coconut oil. it can also be eaten but not only. you know, there is a company with natural products that sell that in a small jar like yours for hair treatment. they are fair - they charge the very same price as you would in the food dept. of a supermarket :-) nice eye look btw! Castor oil really DOES make lashes (hair in general) grow super fast! Just be careful not to get it IN your eyes. Coconut oil is a nice moisturizer, but it can interact with a person's body chemistry and create an unpleasant scent. Jojoba oil is so much better; they say it's much closer to the body's natural oil.

You really need to check into blue and red at the same time. Because blue and red are counterproductive to each other . Because they do opposite effects . Read wants to stimulate your production and blue is trying to reduce the production. I’m not saying you can’t do them within a certain amount of time but at the exact same time it doesn’t quite work.

Hi. You look great. But, I will say that I too looked at least 10 years younger my entire life, until I turned 50. At 30 I looked 18, at 35 I looked in my early 20's...40 I looked 25...until I turned 50. No one believed I was my age and would gasp and make a huge scene when I would tell them my age...my whole life, since I can remember. They'd ask to see my I.D. everywhere I went, getting cared to buy alcohol till I was at least 48. I thought I was invincible to aging and it would last forever. But, the turning point was 50. I literally woke up on my birthday and it all changed dramatically after that. I'm now 52 and still do everything naturally to maintain my skin and have my whole life. I too have never done botox or fillers...just took really good care of my skin. The difference between myself and you however is that I am Irish, very fair skin. People with fair skin age a lot sooner. So, it is rare that someone with fair skin ages so well, like myself. The secret was that I always protected my skin (at least face) from the sun. You look so young mainly because you have dark skin. Just like they say black don't crack. The more melanin in your skin the younger it will stay over time. Yes, you take care of your skin, but I can guarantee you that if you weren't so tanned skin (naturally, from your origin) you would have aged a lot sooner. Good for you! Enjoy it while it lasts, as from one person that thought she was ageless to another, when it finally does happen - where you start to actually age, it sucks even more than it does for someone who stopped getting carded at 30, like most. This is because we place so much importance and emphasis on looking young and everyone around us believes we are young as well, that when the time comes that this all changes (and it will) your self image is so damaged and your identity of who you are, or once was is bruised at best . You look in the mirror and say "who are you?". I know this is depressing and sad, and I'm not trying to be negative or elicit fear here, but I want to warn you that soon you too will need to try to have "acceptance" and deal with you as an "older" person. Let me tell you, it's not easy. I'm saying this to all the woman out there who are reading this. Because you are the type that read and obsess over the latest youth in a bottle or beauty gadget to ward off the inevitable. Our society has made all of this (aging) even more difficult because we base so much importance on looking good, young, beautiful forever. And, once that's gone you feel like a ghost walking around. Your life as you know it changes. You are now irrelevant. The worst word in history. Our society treats people who show age, wrinkles as if they are no longer important - or damaged somehow. Men who once catered to you everywhere you go...tripping over themselves to talk to you, or help you...people starring at you & offering tons of compliments, telling you how beautiful and great you look, will cease. Yes, you'll still look good "for your age". You'll soon despise that phrase, by the way. But, the beginning to the end is when they (grocery check out workers...everyone around you) will refer to you as "MAM" now. They (people) used to just say "Have a nice day", or "how can I help you"...with nothing on the end. Now, they think it's "respectful" to call you MAM everywhere you go. You'll want to ask them "I'm sorry, but am I your mammy? Are you confusing me with your Grandma??". It will make you very angry at first. You'll want to tell them - "Just wait a few years down the road when you start getting called MAM and then see how much you like it! It's not respectful at all - you may as well say "Have a nice day you old fart"! And, you hope that you have other, more important things in life than your looks, like friends, family, a career...life. But, when your main focus is beauty blogging and staying young as long as you can - take it from someone who knows, it's going to be twice as hard on YOU when you no longer see that same young, beautiful, gorgeous, stunning (these are all the adjectives you're referred to before "the change" happens) person looking back in the mirror. It will happen, no one is immuned to it.
I believe that beauty comes from the inside and shines outward. I am becoming more and more comfortable in my own skin as I get older. I will be 50 in 2018 and decided to let my natural gray hair grow out. If my appearance and the fear of getting older was all I cared about I would be full of Botox and keep dying my hair. I want to embrace what i look like at any age even as I see the signs of aging. The beauty from within will never stop shining. To me that is true beauty and that will never fade ❤️

Yes. I agree with hdangelo1. I had always looked way, younger than my age! No one would ever believe, how old I was in my 30's and 40's - many during this time, would say I looked 10 to as much as 15 years younger than my age! Then just after turning 50 years old, it was like a switch went off, and I have aged at least 4 to 5 years, per year, over the last 3 years! I too, am having a very hard time with losing my young looks. Now, I am treated with the Mam, and the extra respect, that the younger generation gives to the older generation. It is hard, as I have friends several years younger than me, who still look incredibly young, who are still taking selfies, and appearing like they could pass for in their 30's. I sometimes catch, a woeful look, from them, as well, which hurts even worst. They too are unaware, of what happens after the change happens. It has been especially hard, as now I feel like I do not fit in with them, and should be hanging out more with people in their 60's or 70's. Not really, yet that is what this messed up society makes me feel like sometimes. The stress is going from the being perceived as 29, 10 years ago, and now appearing like 50's to possibly even 60 - that is 25 to 30 year aging in 10 years, look wise. I am trying to come to grips, with this as well, and sorry, I am being so negative. I pray that the American society, will get less youth obsessed. I fell into the lethal trap. Life is not supposed to be over at 50. Life can be vibrant, and youthful after this time, too! Lets get real!
Yes. It happened to me too. But, now I am using light therapy another on not Revive. And people are beginnig to complement me again. Whay have u done. I am 58. Where I live after 55 you get a retiree discount. I woyld always get it without any question asked. The other day, dinning with my friend tje waiter asked : The two of you get the discount? My friend is 73. The question was aimed at me. So, she taught I was younger than 55. Good news. I have been using the light therapy consistently for maybe 2 months. Of course my jowls still there and still have skin spots, lax skin and wrinkles...But it seems they are clearing... and look 4 years younger in 2 months...great news for me.... I am sharing my info to give a bit more hope that still over 58 you can look good.

Lisa,do you protect your face and neck from the sun every time you go out also? I ask because red LED light CREATES collagen in your skin but uv light from the sun (and tanning beds only)DESTROYS collagen in your skin.

Thank you Beth :-) Out of anything that I save and invest in skin care is #1. Since I started taking care of my skin I have literally reversed the aging process. Amazingly my skin looks better now than it did 10 years ago :-) I do have another video on how I mix my natural oils but I was not using all of the oils that I use now. I have severe PTSD and side effects Dr says lifelong. But I'm very proactive. after working 30 Yrs I'm now "disabled " have a lot of time on my hands. I do meditation among other things. a friend of mine swears on coco nut oil. from our last visit on the seychelles she brought 2 l of that original virgin coconut oil. it can also be eaten but not only. you know, there is a company with natural products that sell that in a small jar like yours for hair treatment. they are fair - they charge the very same price as you would in the food dept. of a supermarket :-)

I purchased the Professional Light Therapy Panel and it stopped working in 4 days of receiving the item. Their return policy is even if the item is defective, it is the customer's responsibility to pay for the return shipment. This item is close to $400.00, do I need to say more. Though, I should have known better since Amazon reviewers said the item breaks within days of receiving. My bad for wanting to believe otherwise. I spoke to Angie at the company and they said by their defective products return shipping Policy.

Castor oil really DOES make lashes (hair in general) grow super fast! Just be careful not to get it IN your eyes. Coconut oil is a nice moisturizer, but it can interact with a person's body chemistry and create an unpleasant scent. Jojoba oil is so much better; they say it's much closer to the body's natural oil.

Even when I was having money problems years ago, I somehow always found a way to save for my skin care products. I also did what you said and told my family that is what I wanted for gifts :-) The Obagi lasts a long time. I only need to purchase it about once every year because I rotate the Obagi with CeraVe and essential oils so it lasts longer XO
