Just watched a video on here with the creatives breaking down the "dancing through life" scene in Wicked, and the person in charge of hair talked about the need for him to have a wig that stayed tousled even when spinning upside down. I really don't know why more guys don't have that haircut.
I particularly like the fact that this show does not rush Charlie’s progress with his mental health, but is realistic in showing that it takes time. And the therapy scenes with Geoff are great, demonstrating the benefits of therapy and how it is effectively conducted.
I watched another Reactor who went pretty much gaga over JB. The Reactor in question is a gay psychiatrist, who focuses on the sections of episodes that include mental health issues, or issues involving the LGBT+ community (and its political and health issues.) When Jonathan Bailey appeared, said Reactor was gobsmacked --- spent about 1 minute on Elle's experience on the radio show and then 3 minutes swooning over JB. He eventually tried to stop the swooning, telling himself "Be professional". We could see the Reactor blushing; he then said, "I'm fairly confident that Jonathan Bailey has the same effect on every gay man on the planet..." Someone in the comment section said that when she saw the Reactor's response, she had to stop the video she laughed so hard. She added: "(I'm not even a gay man, and I get it...)"🤣

She knew I was probably gonna do whatever I was gonna do regardless, so I was typically allowed to stay the night with boyfriends and have sleepovers or get togethers with "friends" when I was in highschool. She'd much rather have known where I was and that I was safe, than me running off to go meet someone someplace random or whatever without her knowledge. She felt similarly about me partying and stuff for the most part. She was usually okay as long as she knew where I was and who I was with. I told him that any time he felt like that, he could let me know and we'd work out something similar. (I had given him a very old-fashioned cell phone; not a 'smart phone', a very stupid phone that was good only for calling someone and receiving calls.) I saw his tight, anxious shoulders loosen when I said that. He still wanted to stay with his friend that night, but I'm pretty sure that the frequency of times when he felt trapped was reduced. I wished that I had had those options when I was a kid; but I grew up with parents who had grown up during the 1930s-40s -- a different time in history.

Some days there are going to be storms, wet weather, but like with all weather, the bad weather will pass, the sun will come out, and it will be nice again. You just need to know how to deal with the bad weather. I like that thinking. As I am someone who when my mental health crumbles, I never think it is going to ease, but it does. Just as Alex said at 3:54 in his way of describing this.
You talking about mental health journeys not being linear is so beautiful & it’s represented well in the show & books, but hearing you go more in depth about it is really important to someone who needs to be reminded that it’s okay to have bad days.❤️
The scene in the comics where Charlie has his fight with Nick and relapses is so powerful. I so wish they'd have made it more than just a passing, blink-and-you-miss-it, scene in the show. It ends with Charlie's family inviting Nick back and letting him spend the night. It is a huge turning point.

We knew he was active and we very much preferred he be safe under our roof then parked in a car somewhere. i have a contrarian kind of view especially about gay sex: do it, get it over it, learn from the experience. your first time usually lasts about 10 seconds, it's awkward since you don't know that teeth hurt, and butt sex is almost guaranteed to suck the first time. get some experience so that once you have something where you want it to be special it has a chance to be. the elevation of first time sex to a pedestal is vastly overrated, imo.
