I have to say that I was partially stumped... I remember David Copperfield doing something like it on TV but he used a pie tin.

Ink is everything you expect it to be with a caveat. Yes, you can perform it surrounded, but it definitely requires audience management. Most of you will understand the things I'm talking about if you spend as much money as I do on similarly priced gimmicks.
Hands down though, the best trick ever to exist in my opinion is still the Mental Dice series. It's flawless.
Now back on track, remember, you COMMAND the Ink to move. Well, keep in mind that you can ONLY make a circle - that's an issue that many magicians fall into because they start planning how they will use the trick BEFORE they get their hands on it.
Is there a magnet? OF COURSE THERE IS. How do you expect to move ink people? I'm not going to go further into why the trick works but you need to keep in mind everything that goes into a trick. You know it's not real magic, and there's reasons why the trick works.
Well I thought I knew like you did. So I'm gonna say I was stumped. And I would go full Copperfield and draw a triangle. (Which is why I thought I knew)
Unfortunately you can't make anything other than the circle

I think making the ink draw a celebrity would be so cool
Making the ink draw an x to use it combined with a lot of effects, like double cross!
I would like a heart shape for special occasions (may be possible with a remote selector in a future product...)
I’d change the ink in to the shape of Beau’s lush beard 🔥
I would like the initial of the name to be written in ink

The REAL MAGIC was when Beau guessed my favourite drink 🤯
I'd make the ink draw out the initial of a randomly chosen spectator if I could!
Is it always the same symbol or can you do different ones?
I have an idea I know but I don't know. I would have the ink draw the star as it would have the most movement. My question is: does it draw more than a circle?

I have no clue how this is done. I think making the ink form an "@" would be cool, because you could then add your social media handle onto it before handing it out as a souvenir.
Unfortunately you can. They definitely could have taken a bit more time to make it more customizable and I hope to see them release something like that in the future

You're close.
First I would tell the spectator: i'm going to write your name on the paper, then the ink form "your name" literally :p
I would make it into a 4 dimensional square and quite literally shatter the spectators brain

I want to be able to make the Ink gimmick freely go "up" or "down" so when people see it I can "show" I have complete control over the writing. (They wouldn't know I don't actually have complete control)
I would have the pen & blank cards on the table. Then use equivoque to force a card & reveal this card using a wallet. But then say I made a prediction can you see it on the card? Or you cannot see it, well let me ask the card to reveal my prediction, then drop some ink on and let it reveal the card. 🤯🫣
