@@albinskenderovski your instructions are clear. They just need to download the exact file of their head unit. I would also recommend to backup apps via backup and restore like the traffic camera and netflix if they dont have the instsllers. Coz it may require to reset to factory the Android, which is in my case. Thanks again. I can upgrade my other headunit. :-)
Hi apex1viper, i own head unit YT9216BJ 1GB ram and 16GB storage, android 9.1, i have updatet the way you suggested with this video, i did download few ota files because i wasn't sure which one is the real one, but all this files was named yt9216CJ_Bj, after update my head unit becomes YT9216CJ instead, it worked but the google-store was hanging and BT was always ON even i switch OFF it turned ON again, i decided to use one odher similar OTA file to update and turned screen vertical mode, i updatet again and becomes again horizontal screen but MCU missing, i updatet again with the first OTA file again and the screen went glitchy and nothing to see but glitches, the scrren is not possible to use this way, can you advice me how to restore my head unit, is there any fllashing tools for my head unit or what to do to fix it. Thanks in advance.
Hello, there are ways to flash the unit with a complete package but you have to use a laptop I will send instructions in a moment, I also need to use a laptop for the links.
Hi, my apologies, you don't have to, bcz i have fix my head unit and is working even greater and faster, updated from androidd 9.01 to 10.01 and from YT9216BJ to YT9216CJ, 1.2ghz to 1.5ghz and multi-theme, activated sound chip that now is super sound system, it just working great.

@@albinskenderovski Unfortunately this upgrade stops after about 45 seconds into error. I also tried the version xyauto_ui1_9218C_Full_8227L_demo-ota-20200513_HIFI.zip version fails ( Error and the android robot is horizontal in screen).
Hello, sorry for that, your version might ne upgrade via OTA or only by the provider (person who sold you the unit). They usually have the firmware given to them by the people that make these units.
Hi apex1viper. Thanks for making this video! Mine is YT9216B_00002_V004_201190801 android 8.1 I narrowed it down 3 files : UI1_V6.8 or UI1_V6.6 （多launcher）or UI1_v6.5 under 1024*600 but which is the correct 1 to download?
First you need to get the latest 8.1 android to avoid issues then you can upgrade 9.1 android from one of the above files. In 8.1 there is a folder for units with 2 gb of RAM and the others are just different UIs. Choose Ui1 it's stock and without any issues 99% of the time.

@@seldy9 maybe because of this firmware that you installed it changed something on the unit and now it doesnt accept the xyauto firmwares, that could be it, I dont advise that we force this in case it goes into a bootloop and you lose the entire unit, then we would run into bigger problems lol, since you got the correct file I am guessing the current firmware from huidao is rejecting it

@@jwhanif stay away from upgrading for that unit you might get in a bootloop, because the firmware for your unit is bundled with CJ models there might be an issue, other have reported the same and only few lucky ones have upgraded successfully. If your unit has no issues don't upgrade ✌🏻
@amarpreetkaur3180 you are right, it's not available on the website, maybe installing 9218 would help but I cannot recommend it. Does your unit have any issues ?

@@xalydrogado As I have read many times, no real android 10.1 exists of our units, unless those that are a bit more expensive, you can always check using aida64 it will tell you the correct android version🤔 I thinks its Android 8 at most, maybe yours is different give the app a try 🙂

As far as I am aware you cannot downgrade unless done with a complete reinstall via a laptop but I wouldn't recommend it because I have never tried it myself 🤷🏻♂️. I will look online for cracked netflix that can work on your unit but I doubt it, does it not work via Google Chrome?

I think you need to do a full upgrade with a computer, that way everything is replaced...I think I sent some other user tutorials on how to do it and also on the website you have the full packages for these units, the only downside is you will have to remove your unit from the dashboard.

You can do a reset, just remember that you must know your playstore account and password, try with a reset, and it will delete the cache of apps and they will open afterwards
It might but if the weather is very hot where you live I think updating will not help. The units get too hot because the cars are out in the sun and it's too much heat. Used to happen to mine as well.

Hi please help. I'm not here for the upgrade. I'm here because i tried to restore factory reset and now my unit is stuck on the VW loop over and over. It has nothing to do with the upgrade.
If you are using windows try disabling windows defender it might categorize it as a virus or something. Also sometimes the download speed varies a lot, I downloaded it via mobile hotspot on my laptop since it was faster at around 36 MbpS, at 12Mbps it would slow down and stop sometimes like in your case

@@catalinvalentin37 try using a different browser at least, everyone has those issues and for me I could easily try and get it for you but then I have no way of sending the file to you, gmail has limit for attachments and so does outlook, on the other hand my upload speed is 100kbps 😅 for 1.13gb file I would have to stay for 8 hours on a pc and even then I don't know if it will upload anywhere cause my internet is shit. Let me ask tho, do you have to update? If the unit doesn't have any issues you should leave it like that, they dont bring much new things anyway 🤷🏻♂️

Yes it will help but find ghe right file depending on the screen resolution and if its horizontal or vertical. However, about the wrong door info, you can try and select a different brand for the canbus maybe it will make it correct. The option to change the canbus brand is in factory settings.

@@zsofronijevic7232 info about canbus is usually the same across all upgrades since these units are similar, you have to pick the correct one. I have experimented with those and some of them went so far as to even freeze the unit cause they were wrong but after a restart I would choose another the correct one for my car adn everything was fine.
Sorry for very late reply, had some death in the family, is the unit working now or is it stuck and constantly rebooting? If so there is a method to revert it back to factory settings. Write back if you need it ✌🏻
@@albinskenderovski is working fine after the error then it reboot and I’m able to use it again but I tried so many other upgrades none of that working for my player unfortunately
@@blue3880 oh man don't even try others anymore incase it gets stuck in a bootloop, you will have to use a computer and open the unit in order to restore it, it's a lot of work🤦🏻♂️ if it doesn't have many issues just stay on that version, the updates don't really bring a lot of new things to these units

@@blue3880 if you have the option test it out first before buying... I had a Pioneer branded unit like this only much smaller and it was horrible in the ui, imagine the shuffle option would shuffle the same songs all the time, it was weird and annoying and I couldn't figure out how it was possible lol . Turn off the radio and turn it back on same song starts from the usb , put shuffle on it shuffles to the same song again, and the way to search for the songs was to scroll down or up and scrolling was almost impossible due to the screen being non capacitive touch screen. In the long run, the chinese unit proved to be much better and more versatile
What file did you try? And tell me the full info from About screen so I can direct you to the correct file. Resolution of your unit, RAM memory and full firmware name

Honestly, I think I did something wrong 😕 I followed the video to the T And when I stuck the flash drive into the USB port it was fine but after a few moments, it crashed? The worst part is I don't think I can fix this.
I think I sent someone instructions to install a full firmware package through a laptop, I can look for it again, but how is it possible for this to crash it's just an OTA update file, did the UPGRADE text light up in settings and after that it crashed and tell me what happens now when u turn on the unit?
It's the wires, it doesn't keep basic memory settings, any decent car electrician can fix that in about 20 mins, It has happened to me on many units many times lol. Its always the wires in this situation because the radio itself doesn't have an option to forget the settings upon restart🙂

@@Taw19850 the latest file should be the best, and I think they delete the older firmwares and just upload stable versions because the one that I installed on my device is gone from the website and replaced by a newer firmware. I haven't yet updated cause my unit is working properly now and I see no reason to go through the process again🤷🏻♂️
@@albinskenderovski I'm attempting to flash today , but first I need to save the car set app that controls my Ac and heat and can bus app for choosing which can bus my vehicle use. Currently have it hooked to my PC and looking up how to connect it to the octand do a backup of the apks.

Check out my other video about complete shutdown so as to not waste the battery. Maybe yours is done the opposite way. But still, 15 mins is a long time, less than five is ok for a complete boot from scratch but otherwise it's too long. It might have some other fault.

You need to download autolink for the unit not your phone, then I believe you will be able to link your device, I cannot test this since I don't use ios devices but also my car is not around and I don't know when I will be able to test it.
Hello , I have a 2017 dodge journey that has xyauto j6.6 firmware. Looking to update the radio and make all settings American imperial. Right now the AC shows C and I can not change it to F. Same for the speedometer on the radio. Would any of these files help? It's running Android 10.1

Hi, the 9216bj version has errors while installing, some are successful some are not does the unit have any issues that need to be fixed? We can try to look for the correct file but not risk it if the unit is fine, sometimes other problems arise 🙈

Yes, I believe the app was called Zlink try to find it in your unit and connect it to your smartphone, it should be there, if not you can try and download it online since I have also installed it before on my unit but I never used it not even once

Yeah there are files for you unit, however I must ask, does it have any issues right now? Cause if not I would not update immediately since some users are reporting bootloops God knows why because these files are just OTA updates and nothing more, same files phones get when they are ready for an upgrade.
@@jayhoward6371 Sorry for late reply, I advise you not to update untill some issue appears, the updates don't bring anything new except for fixing issues, and as I said some users with same firmware as you were having bootloop issues and it's a hassle to try and hard reset and upgrade via a laptop afterwards, stay on it my friend and you will save yourself the trouble and headaches ✌🏻

Hello, could you please share more info about your unit, screen size, ram size so I can find the right file, also don't worry the Android 10 version number is faked they are not original Android 10, you can check this using aida64 app from playstore. You can disconnect your device from the Bluetooth, just go on your phone find the Bluetooth name of the unit and click forget or unpair, as for the unit's Bluetooth, that one I believe you cannot turn off 😅
Over there it also says 9218dl and 9218dlj, yours is very risky to upgrade in this case. I am afraid you might lose your DSP effects, best if someone else answers and help with the distinction between these models. Are you having some issues with yours ?

@@albinskenderovski thanks for the reply. but the link provided only brought me to xygala page. not specific firmware. anyway, i somehow manage to flash mine successfully. kinda. it has bug though. each time i turn on the radio. the default volume is high eventhough i have unticked default volume in volume settings. also, do you have poor radio reception?
@@kasturiGM default volume is mixed somewhere in Sound settings, lower that to a smaller value, about the radio reception, sometimes it's good sometimes it's not I don't rely too much on it cause I use a USB stick for music.
Hello sir 🙂, The unit equalizer is not working on my unit for the fm radio apk too, it seems to be a separate chip that handles the fm radio, if you upgrade it will not change the equalizer in the fm radio apk, I am very sorry, it's how they are made...I tried it with an app from playstore it was an equalizer and volume booster app, it works it enhances the volume and it gives options for an equalizer. The problem is, you have to open it each time you turn on the radio and also it caused restarts on my unit until I forced it to run vertically on the unit like in a smartphone and then it stopped causing issues. You can try some boosters and equalizers from playstore but If your unit is working fine then don't upgrade at all, you never know what other problems might come with a new upgrade.
@@kannangopi32 your usb has to be fat32 format and maybe it has some issues since the radio stops functioning when you connect it. This file is normal the update it's nothing bad and it should not be doing this. Also I will find you the right firmware if it's on the website.
Oh, so sorry I have not seen this comment, yes I think you should update as your Android 10 version could be an android 8.1 fake version, tell me the entire model number and I will see which one is the latest. Also if the unit is performing well, there is no reason to update ✌🏻
Nope, after updating you will have the newest firmware, although I doubt there would be anything wrong since these updates are fixes to the firmware, most of the time they are better. Resetting doesn't downgrade to the previous firmware. So, if nothing is wrong with your unit, maybe don't do it 🤷🏻♂️ for me it definitely fixed many things and the unit is faster, overall smoother.

You can pick a different protocol setting, there are many of those inside Protocol Settings when you go into Factory Settings, currently on mine I have Ruishingwhei VW protocol and I have seen there BMW, have you tried looking there?- Because this update adds more things and it doesn't remove anything.

What version is your unit and model? Like in this video it is properly done, also if your firmware is very old and you update it to the latest firmware for your unit it might make Android auto work properly🤷🏻♂️.

They are horribly translated but that's where all those settings are and it should work, I don't have the car here now to see the menu but it was something similar to this, revers parameter settings, try out some of them and use your phone for camera translating for the chinese letters.

Hi mate, you cannot find the file for that unit since it's a bit different from the ones discussed here. Your best bet is to find the seller and they would have an upgrade file. Also if it doesn't have any issues there is no need to upgrade. They don't bring much new things to these units just a bit of cosmetic fixes and some small issues get resolved.

This update is just an ota upgrade like with android phones it's just that it doesn't come over the air like it's supposed to since the developers have not made it so. Even they do it this way and that's why the upgrade button lights up from the menu, I guess what I am saying is this is very safe and legal. Your unit should be working properly just connect to the internet and delete cache and if it still doesn't work then go ahead and delete app data if you don't have anything sensitive on the google apps.
@@z32madrid well as a last resort reset the whole unit just make sure you remember your google account and password. It must work this way, also are you sure you installed the correct OTA file, cause there are world firmwares and chinese firmwares, I am guessing if you installed a chinese firmware it would make google services not work since the older ones were on the world firmware.
Are you sure you took the right file, something that might fix your issues is a reset of the unit, also make sure you got the right file, usually these updates fix things and not break even more. Could you also explain more of your issue, is the touchscreen not working at all?

@markgordon8014 Sadly, for me, it wasn't possible to upgrade through the unit itself, I had mobile hotspot inside the car, but it never could upgrade like that.

Did you unzip the files? You don't unzip/unrar, amd the file must be om the root folder of the drive. It should show up. On the other hand, if you factory reset you might lose some important files, are you sure you want to do that?

Sadly, those firmwares are not on the website, and if you do find a firmware be careful, the update might bring about more issues than there ever were before

Probably some sort of error or virus, if the unit has other issues that you must update it I would advise you reset the unit first then try to access the settings app... to reset you can find a shortcut app from playstore and access the android settings not Car Settings app and from there you can do the reset. But again, if it has many issues that it requires an update then go ahead do this, but if it doesn't have many issues maybe don't risk it 🤷🏻♂️

Just write the radio's system information from the About Screen or Info screen where it says firmware name and hardware info and I will try and find it for you on the website.

I would also recommend to backup apps via backup and restore like the traffic camera and netflix if they dont have the instsllers. Hi apex1viper, i own head unit YT9216BJ 1GB ram and 16GB storage, android 9.1, i have updatet the way you suggested with this video, i did download few ota files because i wasn't sure which one is the real one, but all this files was named yt9216CJ_Bj, after update my head unit becomes YT9216CJ instead, it worked but the google-store was hanging and BT was always ON even i switch OFF it turned ON again, i decided to use one odher similar OTA file to update and turned screen vertical mode, i updatet again and becomes again horizontal screen but MCU missing, i updatet again with the first OTA file again and the screen went glitchy and nothing to see but glitches, the scrren is not possible to use this way, can you advice me how to restore my head unit, is there any fllashing tools for my head unit or what to do to fix it. Thanks in advance.

@@albinskenderovski Unfortunately this upgrade stops after about 45 seconds into error. I also tried the version xyauto_ui1_9218C_Full_8227L_demo-ota-20200513_HIFI.zip version fails ( Error and the android robot is horizontal in screen).

Hello, sorry for that, your version might ne upgrade via OTA or only by the provider (person who sold you the unit). They usually have the firmware given to them by the people that make these units.

I narrowed it down 3 files : UI1_V6.8 or UI1_V6.6 （多launcher）or UI1_v6.5 under 1024*600 but which is the correct 1 to download?
First you need to get the latest 8.1 android to avoid issues then you can upgrade 9.1 android from one of the above files. In 8.1 there is a folder for units with 2 gb of RAM and the others are just different UIs. Choose Ui1 it's stock and without any issues 99% of the time.

I installed this firmware without any problems, but the original from website XY still show an error when updating.
@@seldy9 maybe because of this firmware that you installed it changed something on the unit and now it doesnt accept the xyauto firmwares, that could be it, I dont advise that we force this in case it goes into a bootloop and you lose the entire unit, then we would run into bigger problems lol, since you got the correct file I am guessing the current firmware from huidao is rejecting it

@@jwhanif stay away from upgrading for that unit you might get in a bootloop, because the firmware for your unit is bundled with CJ models there might be an issue, other have reported the same and only few lucky ones have upgraded successfully. If your unit has no issues don't upgrade ✌🏻

As far as I am aware you cannot downgrade unless done with a complete reinstall via a laptop but I wouldn't recommend it because I have never tried it myself 🤷🏻♂️. I will look online for cracked netflix that can work on your unit but I doubt it, does it not work via Google Chrome?

I think you need to do a full upgrade with a computer, that way everything is replaced...I think I sent some other user tutorials on how to do it and also on the website you have the full packages for these units, the only downside is you will have to remove your unit from the dashboard.

You can do a reset, just remember that you must know your playstore account and password, try with a reset, and it will delete the cache of apps and they will open afterwards

It might but if the weather is very hot where you live I think updating will not help. The units get too hot because the cars are out in the sun and it's too much heat. Used to happen to mine as well.

If you are using windows try disabling windows defender it might categorize it as a virus or something. Also sometimes the download speed varies a lot, I downloaded it via mobile hotspot on my laptop since it was faster at around 36 MbpS, at 12Mbps it would slow down and stop sometimes like in your case

@@catalinvalentin37 try using a different browser at least, everyone has those issues and for me I could easily try and get it for you but then I have no way of sending the file to you, gmail has limit for attachments and so does outlook, on the other hand my upload speed is 100kbps 😅 for 1.13gb file I would have to stay for 8 hours on a pc and even then I don't know if it will upload anywhere cause my internet is shit. Let me ask tho, do you have to update? If the unit doesn't have any issues you should leave it like that, they dont bring much new things anyway 🤷🏻♂️

Yes it will help but find ghe right file depending on the screen resolution and if its horizontal or vertical. However, about the wrong door info, you can try and select a different brand for the canbus maybe it will make it correct. The option to change the canbus brand is in factory settings.

@@zsofronijevic7232 info about canbus is usually the same across all upgrades since these units are similar, you have to pick the correct one. I have experimented with those and some of them went so far as to even freeze the unit cause they were wrong but after a restart I would choose another the correct one for my car adn everything was fine.

Sorry for very late reply, had some death in the family, is the unit working now or is it stuck and constantly rebooting? If so there is a method to revert it back to factory settings. Write back if you need it ✌🏻
@@albinskenderovski is working fine after the error then it reboot and I’m able to use it again but I tried so many other upgrades none of that working for my player unfortunately
@@blue3880 oh man don't even try others anymore incase it gets stuck in a bootloop, you will have to use a computer and open the unit in order to restore it, it's a lot of work🤦🏻♂️ if it doesn't have many issues just stay on that version, the updates don't really bring a lot of new things to these units

I had a Pioneer branded unit like this only much smaller and it was horrible in the ui, imagine the shuffle option would shuffle the same songs all the time, it was weird and annoying and I couldn't figure out how it was possible lol . Turn off the radio and turn it back on same song starts from the usb , put shuffle on it shuffles to the same song again, and the way to search for the songs was to scroll down or up and scrolling was almost impossible due to the screen being non capacitive touch screen. In the long run, the chinese unit proved to be much better and more versatile

Did you put the file on an empty fat32 usb device? It must show up in Upgrade in Settings. Unless you downloaded the wrong file 🤔

I think I sent someone instructions to install a full firmware package through a laptop, I can look for it again, but how is it possible for this to crash it's just an OTA update file, did the UPGRADE text light up in settings and after that it crashed and tell me what happens now when u turn on the unit?

This is the first time I am seeing this 🤔 try using aida64 app to show information about your software.
Also my radio loses all settings and revert back to metric when I turn it off. Not sure of it is a setting , or power issue in the wires.
It's the wires, it doesn't keep basic memory settings, any decent car electrician can fix that in about 20 mins, It has happened to me on many units many times lol. Its always the wires in this situation because the radio itself doesn't have an option to forget the settings upon restart🙂

@@Taw19850 the latest file should be the best, and I think they delete the older firmwares and just upload stable versions because the one that I installed on my device is gone from the website and replaced by a newer firmware. I haven't yet updated cause my unit is working properly now and I see no reason to go through the process again🤷🏻♂️
@@albinskenderovski I'm attempting to flash today , but first I need to save the car set app that controls my Ac and heat and can bus app for choosing which can bus my vehicle use. Currently have it hooked to my PC and looking up how to connect it to the octand do a backup of the apks.

Check out my other video about complete shutdown so as to not waste the battery. Maybe yours is done the opposite way. But still, 15 mins is a long time, less than five is ok for a complete boot from scratch but otherwise it's too long. It might have some other fault.

You need to download autolink for the unit not your phone, then I believe you will be able to link your device, I cannot test this since I don't use ios devices but also my car is not around and I don't know when I will be able to test it.

Yes, I believe the app was called Zlink try to find it in your unit and connect it to your smartphone, it should be there, if not you can try and download it online since I have also installed it before on my unit but I never used it not even once

Yeah there are files for you unit, however I must ask, does it have any issues right now? Cause if not I would not update immediately since some users are reporting bootloops God knows why because these files are just OTA updates and nothing more, same files phones get when they are ready for an upgrade.

@@jayhoward6371 Sorry for late reply, I advise you not to update untill some issue appears, the updates don't bring anything new except for fixing issues, and as I said some users with same firmware as you were having bootloop issues and it's a hassle to try and hard reset and upgrade via a laptop afterwards, stay on it my friend and you will save yourself the trouble and headaches ✌🏻

You can disconnect your device from the Bluetooth, just go on your phone find the Bluetooth name of the unit and click forget or unpair, as for the unit's Bluetooth, that one I believe you cannot turn off 😅

Over there it also says 9218dl and 9218dlj, yours is very risky to upgrade in this case. I am afraid you might lose your DSP effects, best if someone else answers and help with the distinction between these models. Are you having some issues with yours ?

@@albinskenderovski thanks for the reply. but the link provided only brought me to xygala page. not specific firmware. anyway, i somehow manage to flash mine successfully. kinda. it has bug though. each time i turn on the radio. the default volume is high eventhough i have unticked default volume in volume settings. also, do you have poor radio reception?
@@kasturiGM default volume is mixed somewhere in Sound settings, lower that to a smaller value, about the radio reception, sometimes it's good sometimes it's not I don't rely too much on it cause I use a USB stick for music.

Hello sir 🙂, The unit equalizer is not working on my unit for the fm radio apk too, it seems to be a separate chip that handles the fm radio, if you upgrade it will not change the equalizer in the fm radio apk, I am very sorry, it's how they are made...I tried it with an app from playstore it was an equalizer and volume booster app, it works it enhances the volume and it gives options for an equalizer. The problem is, you have to open it each time you turn on the radio and also it caused restarts on my unit until I forced it to run vertically on the unit like in a smartphone and then it stopped causing issues. You can try some boosters and equalizers from playstore but If your unit is working fine then don't upgrade at all, you never know what other problems might come with a new upgrade.

@@kannangopi32 your usb has to be fat32 format and maybe it has some issues since the radio stops functioning when you connect it. This file is normal the update it's nothing bad and it should not be doing this. Also I will find you the right firmware if it's on the website.

Oh, so sorry I have not seen this comment, yes I think you should update as your Android 10 version could be an android 8.1 fake version, tell me the entire model number and I will see which one is the latest. Also if the unit is performing well, there is no reason to update ✌🏻

Nope, after updating you will have the newest firmware, although I doubt there would be anything wrong since these updates are fixes to the firmware, most of the time they are better. Resetting doesn't downgrade to the previous firmware. So, if nothing is wrong with your unit, maybe don't do it 🤷🏻♂️ for me it definitely fixed many things and the unit is faster, overall smoother.

You can pick a different protocol setting, there are many of those inside Protocol Settings when you go into Factory Settings, currently on mine I have Ruishingwhei VW protocol and I have seen there BMW, have you tried looking there?- Because this update adds more things and it doesn't remove anything.

What version is your unit and model? Like in this video it is properly done, also if your firmware is very old and you update it to the latest firmware for your unit it might make Android auto work properly🤷🏻♂️.

You got the camera wired properly? I don't have one on mine but the settings for the camera are in parameter settings in Factory Settings menu.

They are horribly translated but that's where all those settings are and it should work, I don't have the car here now to see the menu but it was something similar to this, revers parameter settings, try out some of them and use your phone for camera translating for the chinese letters.

Hi mate, you cannot find the file for that unit since it's a bit different from the ones discussed here. Your best bet is to find the seller and they would have an upgrade file. Also if it doesn't have any issues there is no need to upgrade. They don't bring much new things to these units just a bit of cosmetic fixes and some small issues get resolved.

This update is just an ota upgrade like with android phones it's just that it doesn't come over the air like it's supposed to since the developers have not made it so. Even they do it this way and that's why the upgrade button lights up from the menu, I guess what I am saying is this is very safe and legal. Your unit should be working properly just connect to the internet and delete cache and if it still doesn't work then go ahead and delete app data if you don't have anything sensitive on the google apps.

@@z32madrid well as a last resort reset the whole unit just make sure you remember your google account and password. It must work this way, also are you sure you installed the correct OTA file, cause there are world firmwares and chinese firmwares, I am guessing if you installed a chinese firmware it would make google services not work since the older ones were on the world firmware.

Are you sure you took the right file, something that might fix your issues is a reset of the unit, also make sure you got the right file, usually these updates fix things and not break even more. Could you also explain more of your issue, is the touchscreen not working at all?
Can u upgrade at all just through unit as I can use it through wifi at home plus I can't find what model it is or manufacture would this mean it's just a copy an no good ebay buy
@markgordon8014 Sadly, for me, it wasn't possible to upgrade through the unit itself, I had mobile hotspot inside the car, but it never could upgrade like that.

Did you unzip the files? You don't unzip/unrar, amd the file must be om the root folder of the drive. It should show up. On the other hand, if you factory reset you might lose some important files, are you sure you want to do that?

Hello friend i wondering if you know.. i have this unit and the problem is when i use bt or some music player app only front speakes works. But on radio all speakers and amp works loud and clear. That problem come back when i make factory reset.. but now i dont remember the settings that i have earlier. Before that reset all good.. (i have adapter for amp)

Sadly, those firmwares are not on the website, and if you do find a firmware be careful, the update might bring about more issues than there ever were before

Probably some sort of error or virus, if the unit has other issues that you must update it I would advise you reset the unit first then try to access the settings app... to reset you can find a shortcut app from playstore and access the android settings not Car Settings app and from there you can do the reset. But again, if it has many issues that it requires an update then go ahead do this, but if it doesn't have many issues maybe don't risk it 🤷🏻♂️

Just write the radio's system information from the About Screen or Info screen where it says firmware name and hardware info and I will try and find it for you on the website.
