Today I decided to come back and watch. Being in college the last three years has really sent me away from all the stuff I used to love, including watching Sean's videos. But I came back today and I found this video, and I thought, "wow, this Jack is way different than the Jack I used to watch" but it wasn't sad. At this exact moment Sean said something along the lines "I hope this video isn't boring, it's just, as I get older, I just want to sit and tell my tale". The fact that this all happened in a split second really hit home. I felt like I came back, and I had grown up with Jack. That we we're both just tired and just wanted to talk. It's been a while since we talked. I have just went back and watched all your short films you've made, and Sean, I am so glad I stopped by again. I really love where you are taking your channel. Keep doing what makes you happy, and you will always have an audience. Thank you
I love how every time Sean finishes a let’s play series, he does a very detailed summary of the game. Ever since Undertale and Night In The Woods I only watch his let’s play series. I always felt that those are the more calm and mature videos on this channel, videos where you can see more of the Sean side of Jack.
Watching Jacks lets play series with those kind of games just made me appreciate him and his personality more than I ever thought I would. And Maturer is definitely a good way to describe that feeling I get from those lets plays
I absolutely love this part of the channel; it's great to see a Let's Play leaving real critique and feedback that other indie developers can use respectively in their own work too
We need more videos like this. I love the editing, makes it feel like a documentary. And great picks. For me, in no particular order: Undertale, Minecraft, Castle Crashers, The Walking Dead, The Last of Us, Fallout, Skyrim, Doom, Red Dead Redemption, Ark: Survival Evolved, Spore, Halo, The Wolf Among Us, SOMA, and Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017). Those are the games that have affected me the most and that I've played the most. I also love Days Gone, Outlast, and Dying Light, but those are a level below. I have so much nostalgia for Lego games, but I don't really go back and replay them. I've yet to play Bloodborne, BioShock, and The Shadow of the Colossus, but I plan to.
I’m so used to watching Jack’s playthroughs and never really these type of videos, but I realise now it’s like having a conversation with a friend! Videos like this from Jack are super nice
I remember years ago being in middle school and being so excited to see if Jack uploaded an Undertale video; and listening to him do the voices. His play though of Undertale hits different

Inside is also one of my favorite games. I loved Limbo and had very high expectations for Inside but I was still blown away. And you're totally right about the sound design. Chef's kiss!

no one asked but I'd say these are my fav 9 games: - bioshock - fallout new vegas - metal gear solid 3 - dark souls 1 - bloodborne - red dead 2 - last of us 1 - uncharted 2 - persona 5
The only video game with an end that I’ve played multiple times through is “Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey”, on the Wii. I LOVED that game and I have so many fond memories of it.

OK so a bit of backstory before I list any games. Ive been playing games since Atari. Since somewhere around 89 if I had to guess a year. Ive played a lot of different games and I've loved so many different types of games. It's impossible to pick 9 games because of all the different systems I've played on over the years. Atari: Classics like Pong, Burger Time, Pac-Man and Missile Command. There was even a hide and go seek game if you'd rather play it on your atari rather than actually going outside. Nintendo: 1943: The Battle of Midway, Wizards and Warriors, Bases Loaded, Double Dragon, Contra. Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout, Paperboy, Castlevania (all), Excitebike, Double Dribble, Duck Hunt, Mike Tyson's Punchout, Track and Field, Gauntlet, Mega Man(all) Ninja Gaiden, Qbert, everything Mario...and so many more. Super Nintendo: By time we had a Super Nintendo I already had a Sega Genesis, so the main game I played here was Mario Kart and Chrono Trigger. Sega Genesis: Obviously Sonic The Hedgehog, Double Dragon, Duke Nukem 3D, Frogger, Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball, Joe Montana Football, Lemmings, Mortal Kombat (all), Pitfall, RBI Baseball, Road Rash Virtua Fighter...and..I can guarantee I missed some. Playstation (all): Final Fantasy, Lunar Story, Allied General, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Breath of Fire II,IV, Bushido Blade, Suikoden, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Path of Neo, Champions of Norath, The Force Unleashed...Assassins Creed...Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.. PC Games: Oregon Trail...where we all learned we'll all die of dysentery. Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Star Wars Galaxies, The Old Republic, NeverWinter Nights, Doom, Duke Nukem, Fallout, Ark Survial Evolved, Minecraft...Far Cry..Jedi Knights..Mass Effect... Final Fantasy: Ive played so many different Final Fantasy games from the first to 15 and even the stranger ones like Tactics in the middle. I could have a list of just Final Fantasy games as my favorites on any given day. Sports Games: Over the years I have played a lot of different baseball, football and hockey games with some basketball, racing, bowling and even tennis and golf games mixed in. Not to mention all the wrestling games I have played with my son and nephews. Another list I could have if I was in that mood. So many games over the years I doubt I could narrow it down to 9. Final Fantasy 7 and 15 would be in there for sure. Lunar Story and Fallen Order as well but the rest of the list would depend on my mood when writing it... a bit of a cop out I know..but it is what it is. Sad part is I know this list is missing things..but we're talking about 30 years of video game playing. I've never been much into first person shooters aside from playing them with friends sometimes. So there was a Half Life phase in there, some of the Battlefield and Call of Duty games but never serious. Just..so many games..yes..I'm old (lol sorta..only 41). Anyway...hope somebody enjoys this..insanity.
"People wouldn't watch me play those games" Honestly, I'd love to see you play these games. I really like watching you play new games to see your reactions, but I loved watching your SotC remake playthrough because I know how much you love that game. I just like hearing people talk about stuff they like!

I'm happy jack is happy with what he's doing now but personally miss the video games. Don't really have any more channels that I love that still play games anymore.
I’ll try to keep my list short, but I might get carried away… • Bloodborne: Probably my favorite atmosphere in any game. I love the Gothic Victorian setting and the enemy design. And then the gameplay sends it over the top to solidify it as a perfect game in my eyes • Persona 5: I played this game to death when the quarantine started, having bought it in February last year. I loved the story and the characters so much that it quickly became one of my favorite games I’ve ever played. Now I’m going back and playing Persona 3 and 4 • Skyrim: This game was so huge when it came out, everyone was talking about it. I got it for the Xbox 360 in 2014, I think. Then I got it again for the PS4 in 2019. There’s so much to do that you can just sidequest for hours on end and never complete the main story. And that’s exactly what I’ve done. I’ve had the game for over 7 years and I still have yet to finish the main quest. • Fire Emblem Awakening: Not the best Fire Emblem game for its map designs or its story, but I am a sucker for character design and this game does it right for me. Every character has a memorable design and a distinct personality. The only downside is that I love almost every character so much that I have a hard time playing the game out of fear that anyone might die in battle. At least there’s a casual mode that turns permadeath off. • Pokémon Platinum: Simple nostalgia for this one. It was the first Pokémon game I played and it’s still my favorite. Favorite characters, favorite music, favorite Pokémon. • The Legendary Starfy: Another nostalgia one. This game came out when I was in third grade and all my friends had it. I got it for Christmas the year it came out and loved it. Looking at it objectively, it’s not a 10/10 game, but I still love it. It’s definitely a top 3 DS game and probably my favorite platformer. • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D: Everyone already knows how great Ocarina of Time is. The 3DS remaster just enhances the experience with better graphics and better controls, so that’s why it’s the version that makes my list. Also, it was my first Zelda game, so it gets nostalgia points • Chrono Trigger: The first game system I got was a DS, so I’m a little too young to have played the classic Nintendo games. I’m fixing that issue now, though, by going back and playing some of them, like the original Legend of Zelda, Super Metroid, Super Mario 64, etc. One game I recently played and finished for the first time is Chrono Trigger, and it blew me away. Stunning graphics for 1995, a story that’s better than a lot of modern games’ stories, and memorable characters. It’s got everything I love and it was an instant favorite after I beat it for the first time just a couple weeks ago. • Road Rash: This is the oldest game on my list, but it’s the one I actually have the most nostalgia for. My first game console was a Sega Genesis and my dad would play games on it with me after he got home from work. We played Super Street Fighter II, Tennis, NBA Jam, and a couple of boxing games (we didn’t actually have any Sonic games). But our favorite to play was Road Rash, a motorcycle racing game that we totally sucked at. But it didn’t matter that we sucked at it because it was a lot of fun to see the character go flying off his bike after crashing into a car. It was the perfect bonding experience when I was a little kid and I can still return to it and have a lot of fun with the game.
As a 30-year old mother, this is my FAVORITE video you’ve ever done. I LOVE just sitting and listening to people around my age talk. I’m honestly surprised you didn’t mention Little Nightmares, I believe cause it sounds a lot like Inside
I love these video's, I also love you didn't tie them in with how they affected your UA-cam career, and how they just affected you as a person. With Halloween coming up can we get a top Scary/Horror games?
I get the biggest rush of dopamine any time someone brings up FF9 and gives it all the praise it deserves. Literally nothing anyone says can bring greater joy to me, thank you Sean. You beautiful, Irish angel.
I saw final fantasy 9 in the thumbnail and freaked the heck out, had to immediately click on the video to see if it was true 😂 it’s such an underrated game, I am so happy to see more people talking about it. It needs more love 🥹 it’s my personal favorite game of all time
honestly, i'd love a "nostalgia" month where you do episodes on the games here that you HAVEN'T done a series on the games that are specifically nostalgic to YOU
Ngl I’m a little sad that Subnauseous and Detroit: Become Human (Hi. I’m Connor!) didn’t make the list…but I’m VERY happy to see Pokémon Blue (shout out!) AND Undertale!!!!
YES! Where is subnautica maan? Like its beautiful looking and its got the giant monsters and biomes too like he loved it so much, how is it not in here? Nevertheless its 40+ minutes of jacks voice so im not complaining
1. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End• 2. Marvel’s Spider-Man • 3. The Last of Us• 4. Bloodborne 5. Batman: Arkham Asylum • 6. Borderlands 2 • 7. Shadow of the Colossus • 8. Call of Duty: Black Ops • 9. Horizon: Zero Dawn • means I have finished the game.
The reason I like Uncharted 4 more than 2 is similar to why Sean likes Shadow of the Colossus so much was that I hit me harder at the time. I got the game while knowing nothing about it and I played and it floored me. I was so surprised on what the game was and hold it in the highest regard. Uncharted 2 is really good, one of my top favorites, but I liked the story better and I loved Sam Drake.
In no particular order (other than Elden ring and Hollow Knight) • Red Dead Redemption 2 • Spider-Man Miles Morales • Elden Ring (This is my #1) • Fire watch • Minecraft • Tell-Tales The walking dead 1-4 • Skyrim • Outlast 1 • Hollow Knight (This is my #2) Can you tell I’m young 😅 EDIT: I swapped Inside with fire watch, and Subnautica with Hollow Knight, I just played Hollow knight and it’s amazing, I highly recommend it! I also recently played fire watch again and really enjoyed it!
FF9 is my all time favorite game and the one most important to me. I hope you inspire more people to play it! It's not perfect gameplay-wise, but it is way more accessible to play with the HD ports. The moguri mod that upscales all the backgrounds for the PC port is a great way to play. The game has some beautiful themes and wonderful characters.
I have to say that Aloy talking to herself actually makes more sense than most other characters doing so, narratively speaking. She grew up almost completely alone with only one other person in the entire world to talk to, so she essentially only had herself for company. I've never played another game where the character regularly talking to themselves makes as much sense as it does in HZD.
If I had to make a list like this Horizon Zero Dawn would easily make the list. The graphics, the size of the world, the music, the combat...it absolutely blew my mind the first time I played it. I was a little younger then too so the graphics especially blew me away, up to that point I've never seen a more gorgeous and lifelike game prior to that.
Agreed, I don’t see why so many developers cant just do what the arkham games did and have the PC think to himself, in his head, and not talk out loud. I can’t begin to describe how immersion breaking it is when you’re hiding in grass or something and the main character just starts blabbering on about the quest while the enemy is like 5 feet away.
As I enjoy watching most of your videos . I really enjoy these taking ones . First I love listening to your voice and i want to listen to something on my lunch break that doesn't require to much focus . Keep being you !
I felt like Inside was overlooked, it was a "wow that was a cool game, OK on to the next one!" as with many UA-cam playthroughs, glad to see it's deeper appreciation!
My nine favourite games: 1 Kingdom hearts 2 Undertale (I actually originally found out about it from your channel, Jack!) 3 Portal 2 4 Skyrim 5 Minecraft 6 Mortal Kombat 7 super smash bros 8 hollow knight 9 Cuphead (another game I found out about from you) Loved the video, Jack! Please don't think we didn't. I think I speak for all of us when I say we'd love to see more of this kind of content. Thank you!

Very good list, but I was so sad when there wasn’t even a mention of Subnautica. Don’t get me wrong, all of his choices were great, but I absolutely loved his Subnautica series, I must have rewatched it like 10 times now and every time I love it.
I was very surprised it wasn't on there. Based on his channel growth from it, and how much he clearly loves it. It's a game that encompasses everything jacks likes in a video game. But sure look at the end of the days it's his list not ours
Same I clicked on the video thinking subnautica was gonna be there. But still there are good choices don’t get me wrong! But his subnautica series was great.
I rewatched Slime Rancher almost a year ago, watched the Bendy series recently, like a few months ago, ( its so cute when he hears his voice as Shawn Flynn.) I actually watched his three hour Slime Rancher stream a few days ago over the span of a few days. I was surprised how Slime Rancher wasn't here.
That flashback editing was some of the best I've ever seen. Props to Robin for sticking with Jack all these years and making his videos all the more enjoyable.
Notice how Seán didn’t pick it, though? Please put down your torches and pitchforks. Let me elaborate: Happy Wheels is a shit-ton of fun, but it doesn’t define Seán as a person. That’s not me talking. *Seán said that himself.* If you don’t believe me, feel free to revisit Part 100, or actually any video and you’ll hear him say that he never wanted to be labeled: The Happy Wheels Guy The GTA V Guy The Skate 3 Guy ETC. . . Seán has always had variety on his Channel and when he feels a game has run its course, he stops uploading it. Even currently. He doesn’t play Among Us or Stream Rust anymore. I might get a ton of backlash for saying this, but I’m just spitting out straight facts. Thanks for listening and I hope you have an awesome day. 💚🤗🤗💚
Well, he COULD make a part 2 I suppose? :v Or maybe a list with games that have specifically just good graphic or sound quality. That might be interesting to see too.
@Evan Duquenoy he describes subnautica as one of his favorite games to ever play on the channel but I think this is more in that these games were more formative. I was also surprised that spyro wasnt on the list but it's possible that it's suprisingly because he loved those game publically vs privately

Personally, for me Fallout New Vegas is my favorite. The game just lets you play. It's also not afraid to punish you and reward you. The story line isn't the best but it is a lot of fun playing on the different sides of the war, etc. Hell, the game will let you spawn in and murder the doctor, the first character you see in-game. How crazy is that.

Thank you

Battlefront 2 2017 also holds such a special place in my heart as well. I used to play for hours with my friends it was so fun.
I’m so used to watching Jack’s playthroughs and never really these type of videos, but I realise now it’s like having a conversation with a friend! Videos like this from Jack are super nice

Thank you for the recommendations

Man i didnt know that he had such a great game taste played all of these and they're fantastic
I’ll try to keep my list short, but I might get carried away…
• Bloodborne: Probably my favorite atmosphere in any game. I love the Gothic Victorian setting and the enemy design. And then the gameplay sends it over the top to solidify it as a perfect game in my eyes
• Persona 5: I played this game to death when the quarantine started, having bought it in February last year. I loved the story and the characters so much that it quickly became one of my favorite games I’ve ever played. Now I’m going back and playing Persona 3 and 4
• Skyrim: This game was so huge when it came out, everyone was talking about it.
Also, it was my first Zelda game, so it gets nostalgia points
• Chrono Trigger: The first game system I got was a DS, so I’m a little too young to have played the classic Nintendo games.
Awesome, I love seeing persona fans.

" I feel like.. I did a very good job representing the game." *rolls footage of uncut piss break*
What a lad.
HZD is my favorite game and it was my first experience with a character like that so maybe it’s essentially my Uncharted
As I enjoy watching most of your videos . I really enjoy these taking ones . First I love listening to your voice and i want to listen to something on my lunch break that doesn't require to much focus . Keep being you !
"I feel like I did a really good job at representing the game"
Me, the editor and literally everyone: we all know where this is going
I felt like Inside was overlooked, it was a "wow that was a cool game, OK on to the next one!" as with many UA-cam playthroughs, glad to see it's deeper appreciation!
Its secret ending left me with so many people fucking questions
@BILLIE SAYS DUH stop begging get a life.
Still rocking PMA like a champ. I have the original black shirt
Anyone else a PMA OG?
Yessir
I still have the January pin!
Yasss!
I read this as PMA pog 😂
Got the black hoodie at his London show!
My nine favourite games:
1 Kingdom hearts
2 Undertale (I actually originally found out about it from your channel, Jack!)
3 Portal 2
4 Skyrim
5 Minecraft
6 Mortal Kombat
7 super smash bros
8 hollow knight
9 Cuphead (another game I found out about from you)
Loved the video, Jack! Please don't think we didn't. I think I speak for all of us when I say we'd love to see more of this kind of content. Thank you!
Based. Your list is so good dude
My top 10 all time:
#1 MineCraft
#2 Tetris
#3 Super Mario Bros.
#4 Pac Man
#5 Super Metroid
#6 Zelda
#7 Pokémon
#8 Duck Hunt
#9 Frogger
#10 Street Fighter 2
This is by far the best vid Jack has done IMO
Very good list, but I was so sad when there wasn’t even a mention of Subnautica. Don’t get me wrong, all of his choices were great, but I absolutely loved his Subnautica series, I must have rewatched it like 10 times now and every time I love it.
i was thinking the same thing
I was very surprised it wasn't on there. Based on his channel growth from it, and how much he clearly loves it. It's a game that encompasses everything jacks likes in a video game. But sure look at the end of the days it's his list not ours
ya super surprising to not even mention it, or Last of Us
I was rather shocked that the last guardian wasn't on there
Same I clicked on the video thinking subnautica was gonna be there. But still there are good choices don’t get me wrong! But his subnautica series was great.
Undertale was how I met Sean ngl i'm so glad its up there, and yeah, Sean's voice is the only voice for those characters.
He had Undertale and I was like, JESUS THANKS I HEEDED THIS WHILE IM SICK IM SO HAPPY BUT DONT WANNA SMILE!!!
it made me happy to see FFIX on your list, Jack. That one really shaped my childhood. I did a Vivi tattoo on my own leg as a tribute to that game.
17:26 I would LOVE to see series on those games
And videos like this are really nice, too
Been binge watching all of jacks old series while he’s not uploading as much
Would recommend to everyone
I revisit his undertale series a whole lot.
@@littleredruri It honestly pains me to know how badly people can fuck something up, undertale was phenomenal, and everyone overcomplicated everything
I hope everyone who reads this has a great day
Can you please help me get to 10k
Doing that as well ^^
I rewatched Slime Rancher almost a year ago, watched the Bendy series recently, like a few months ago, ( its so cute when he hears his voice as Shawn Flynn.) I actually watched his three hour Slime Rancher stream a few days ago over the span of a few days. I was surprised how Slime Rancher wasn't here.
That flashback editing was some of the best I've ever seen. Props to Robin for sticking with Jack all these years and making his videos all the more enjoyable.
The cut to the Undertale pee break was on point
Jack: everyone know what this is
Me: not everyone lol
Jack: "I'm going to talk about games that define me"
Me: HAAAAPY WHEEEELS!!!
I hope everyone who reads this has a great day
Can you please help me get to 10k.

Notice how Seán didn’t pick it, though? Please put down your torches and pitchforks. Let me elaborate:
Happy Wheels is a shit-ton of fun, but it doesn’t define Seán as a person. That’s not me talking. *Seán said that himself.*
If you don’t believe me, feel free to revisit Part 100, or actually any video and you’ll hear him say that he never wanted to be labeled:
The Happy Wheels Guy
The GTA V Guy
The Skate 3 Guy
ETC. .
💚🤗🤗💚
I'm actually surprised Subnautica isn't the list, given the sound design in that game
Well, he COULD make a part 2 I suppose? :v
Or maybe a list with games that have specifically just good graphic or sound quality. That might be interesting to see too.
And the last of us
yea, and happy wheels
@Evan Duquenoy he describes subnautica as one of his favorite games to ever play on the channel but I think this is more in that these games were more formative. I was also surprised that spyro wasnt on the list but it's possible that it's suprisingly because he loved those game publically vs privately
Yeah, me too. He definitely made Subnautica one of my all time favourite games. I hadn't heard of it before he played it but I got it in Beta as soon as I saw his first video on it
Day 9 - The fact that Seán hasn't played Titanfall 2 is crazy to me. I would love to see a playthrough of it. I think he'd love it!
My top 10 goes Crash Bandicoot Warped, Uncharted 3, Undertale, Cuphead, GOW2018, Bully, Sleeping Dogs, Resident Evil 4 and Subnautica.
those are some goated games too, i like the variety of different game genres on your list!
@@LucienThePeacebringer Thanks mate, I try not to judge a game or a certain genre unless I've given it multiple tries
@@haitamalaoui4940 I honestly have no preffered genre in gaming, as long as it's done well i like it.

Yoooo it’s Shen, you commented this at the same time I commented deez nuts
Shen-San the half-time weeb!
DS2 is really beautiful btw...
Don't we all?
Same but with undertale
Now wait just one goddamn second...
You're telling me Sean plays Bloodborne 5 times a year, and hasn't even streamed a single one?
JACK! Deltarune chapter two is finally out and it’s free on steam! Please please play it, I already have and it’s AMAZING. I’m pretty sure you’ll love it.
Glad to see Jack mention about INSIDE. Everything he said is how I love this game. Damn, the shockwave level is the best.
Inside is the "I'm 14 and this is deep" of videogames.
@@budthecyborg4575 No, that’s FNAF lmao
@@budthecyborg4575 Lmao wtf?
inside was creepy especially when the boy joins the mass of stuff. eek.
@@dyslexicstoner2408 It's a half baked puzzle game where the main attraction is the most generic commentary on industrial civilization. You have to have the mind of a teenager to think Inside is a special game.
The original Spyro: Year of the Dragon is my favorite game, because I always played it when I would go stay at my dad's house, and when my dad passed away in 2018, it holds even more sentimental value in my heart, and I still have it
It's one of my favorite video format you ever did. Please keep doing them with movies, TV shows and songs (AND BOOKS, OF COURSE BOOKS)
"I play Bloodbourne _at least_ five times a year; and that's no exaggeration."
*Me, who watches Avatar the Last Airbender at least 7 times a year*: Damn, that's a lot
I rewatched both The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra a few weeks ago. They're both great but the nostalgia from The Last Airbender is hard to beat.
Lmao this is hilarious because I’m rewatching it for the 4th time rn
Well it's different to play a game with potentially 20+ hours of gameplay
Same
*laughs is listening to the same books series like 12 times a year*
Can't wait for jacks videos when he's 80 doing a Grand kid teir list
Wtf why did this make me laugh so good
I really enjoyed this video as it's just something new and we get to know more about Sean. It's very refreshing and sort of fun to have something new every once in a while
Jacksepticeye game tier list is something that I only could’ve thought of seeing in my wildest dreams

@KelvinBB Bro, wth, ur trash lol
Jack talking about undertake and his voices just brightened my day. he got so excited talking about 'living out his fantasy'. I'm so proud of this man!
It must be our age group because I would agree with:
-Shadow of the Colossus
-MGS 3 Snake Eater
-FF IX (my #1 all time pure nostalgia)
-Inside
-Uncharted 2
-Pokémon (although I had Red, my little brother had Blue haha)
-Undertale
This was cool Seán! 😎
