I made the wreath.
Placing the shells in a random way made it very pretty. 🐚 🥰 I love it.
My dollar trees were out of the sea horse. I found the dolphin 🐬 and it came out very pretty I love it too.

I had one next to a lighthouse I have in my garden (for my Dad after he passed). I think he might need more of the rope ball! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity and wonderful ideas! LOVE the Seashell wreath!!! I live in the Pacific North West, and the coast is about an hour from my home, I have collected SO MANY seashells!! I just absolutely LOVE THEM!! I have used them in my paintings and other art but this is a wonderful idea!! That wreath turned out beautiful!! I recently saw one in a shop and it was going for over $100!
I love the coastal decor and also the farmhouse decor, I have a lot of both, living near the coast and also we have so much that has been passed down from my great grandparents & grandparents, they owned & lived on a farm. It wasn’t that long ago that people used to tell me, I should “update” some of our older vintage decor. But I have ALWAYS loved it! Now people want to know WHERE I GOT IT! Lol
One problem though I have had is how to incorporate both, to make them flow together.. I like how you have done that! I think both styles are timeless, and even though they may not be what is the current fad some years, I have ALWAYS loved them! Both styles bring such great character to a space & I have found our home is comfortable, carefree, breezy, and full of stories that people love to hear.
I love these DIY’s you have shared! The seahorse is great too, I’m putting that & the wreath on my TO DO LIST!! I have worked with those gems A LOT, and hot glue doesn’t seem to like them much.. even other super glues, after about a year I have found the gems pop off. But the E6000 has HELD UP LIKE A CHAMP! So anyone wanting a permanent solution definitely use the E6000, otherwise you’ll be fixing it within a year, and I have even used the Gems in my outside decorating, the E6000 (after 4 years) is still HOLDING UP!! This is after getting rained, snowed and even iced on! I wouldn’t recommend leaving them outside, I usually bring them in to our shed in the winter. But one year I forgot, and that just goes to show HOW GREAT the E6000 is!!
Anyways, thanks for these great projects! Have fun at the beach this summer!! I feel pretty lucky to live to close to the ocean, it is definitely one of my FAVORITE places to go!
You are so lucky to live near the coast! That is wonderful! Yes I love to mix the farmhouse and coastal decor it really goes good together! The e6000 is definitely they way to go with the glue the hot glue just doesn’t like the glass lol I was too lazy to go out and get e6000 when I was doing it but I have another couple signs I want to do this too and I will be using e6000! We live in Florida now, but only have two rooms that I have decorated diy in the Floridian theme. Love these ideas. Going to definitely make these projects for our bedroom. Thank you for sharing your gift of creativity and teaching. Wonderful!

I just completed the seahorse after moving these glass beads around for over an hour trying to figure out their shape. I ended up finishing the perimeter with nautical rope and I dig it. Thank you so much for the inspiration❤️
