Dang it, that really got me emotional into tears! You guys really knew how to get others, really though. Every letter really got me emotional and maybe even more emotional as each letter went by with the flashback throwback videos combined with the letter reading along with. Been watching you guys and the crazy pieces since your guys kids were very little until now, and just see them growing everyone is slowly moving forward and moving out on their own really got me. Almost made me feel a tiny tiny percentage that I am part of the crazies, because I’ve watching for the longest now. Love both channels and have the bells on for both channels. Watch every video when it comes out, or if I miss it, will try to watch it when I can of what I missed out on. It’s just very emotional to see humans in general grow taller and older each day, week, month, year as time is flying by so freaking fast as you older and older now. Will that’s how I feel like. When you’re still in pre-k through 12th grade, time is still slowly moving for many, but after that growing up is a whole another struggling world that just keeps moving fast nonstop on the daily, no matter what that is. Some of of us just wish we can stop time to have a longer bonding time and to go back in time. Where have life been, because life is just moving and going too fast with things on the daily now and days!?!? Edit: If you guys did it for the ones that no longer living with you guys, that would had got me even more.

Not me crying all the way through those letters.... my childhood and school experience was traumatic and I honestly dont even know how I graduated or got to be where I am today now as a teacher who can help people in similar positions I was in... but seeing yalls love for these kids and support for them is just so beautiful. I think that your entire family is phenomenal. You have such an amazing group of kiddos that have already or are becoming such great adults. That says a lot about your parenting. There are no perfect parents or kiddos but there are those that stand out for simply doing there best and always being willing to do whatever it is that needs to be done to help their children be successful...even if that means that they succeed at failing from time to time. That gives them the opportunity to get back up, dust off the dirt and try again and eventually getting that thing right. Over the past year I have really noticed that Landon has really bloomed into his own person and becoming more and more confident. He has been smiling more, laughing way more, and wanting to push himself even further. Well done Landon, well done! The rest of the kiddos also deserve to get a pat on the back for doing what they need to to not just be a better person but to also be a better family in general. Thank you for allowing us a glimpse into your family and showing the world a family doesn't have to be made up of the same DNA, same ethnicity, same beliefs....the differences within the family dynamic allows for more growth and learning. Love the Back to school letters. What a wonderful thing to do. You are such loving parents, and your children are beautiful. As for a Sloppy Joe recipe (we sometimes had to call them Sloppy Jenny's. My now adult twins, Jenny and Joey, would get upset that we were picking on him, and leaving her out.) My recipe, handed down to me by my Mom, handed down to her from her Mom, is for a much smaller family. 1 pound ground beef, browned 1 medium onion, chopped 2 tablespoons sweet pickel relish Katsup to taste. Brown the meat, and onion, drain. Add relish, and katsup, and heat. Serve on a bun, can top with sliced onion or sliced cheese if desired. Sometimes I will add a small amount of barbecue sauce along with the katsup. My sister will add a tablespoon of mustard. We serve with pork and beans, fries or tater Tots, or potato chips. One of my favorite quick meals.

The letters were so sweet and kind. They all made me cry. All the children are so blessed to have both of you as their parents.
I think that your entire family is phenomenal. You have such an amazing group of kiddos that have already or are becoming such great adults. That says a lot about your parenting. There are no perfect parents or kiddos but there are those that stand out for simply doing there best and always being willing to do whatever it is that needs to be done to help their children be successful...even if that means that they succeed at failing from time to time. That gives them the opportunity to get back up, dust off the dirt and try again and eventually getting that thing right. Over the past year I have really noticed that Landon has really bloomed into his own person and becoming more and more confident. He has been smiling more, laughing way more, and wanting to push himself even further. Well done Landon, well done! The rest of the kiddos also deserve to get a pat on the back for doing what they need to to not just be a better person but to also be a better family in general. Thank you for allowing us a glimpse into your family and showing the world a family doesn't have to be made up of the same DNA, same ethnicity, same beliefs....the differences within the family dynamic allows for more growth and learning. Aubrey, I sooooo remember your high energy years. I feel like all you kids have grown by leaps and bounds since moving back to the Phoenix area. I was ugly crying thru 3/4’s of this video. As for a Sloppy Joe recipe (we sometimes had to call them Sloppy Jenny's. My now adult twins, Jenny and Joey, would get upset that we were picking on him, and leaving her out.)
My recipe, handed down to me by my Mom, handed down to her from her Mom, is for a much smaller family.
1 pound ground beef, browned
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons sweet pickel relish
Katsup to taste.
Brown the meat, and onion, drain.
Add relish, and katsup, and heat.
Serve on a bun, can top with sliced onion or sliced cheese if desired.
Sometimes I will add a small amount of barbecue sauce along with the katsup.
My sister will add a tablespoon of mustard.
We serve with pork and beans, fries or tater Tots, or potato chips.
One of my favorite quick meals.
My mom used to add brown sugar to the ketchup
