Exactly. You don't remember the memory. You remember the last time you remembered the memory. Each time you remember it, you change it a little. Love this concept.

I watched an interview recently with a neuro scientist who studied dreaming and memory. He mentioned when we recall a memory, we're pulling it from a drawer and observing it. The interesting thing is when we return the memory to the drawer, we've changed it slightly. Why? Because we're not the same person that observed it previously. 🤔

I had a little succes story with revision today. In the morning I burned my fingers with hot steam. I was deep in my thoughts and for whatever reason I took the lid of the kettle and since my handwas really close, the hot steam burned. The pain was bas, to be honest I have never felt such pain. Despite the pain I sat down, closed my eyes and imagined that I was in the kitchen, grabbed the kettle handle, poured water into my cup, put the kettle back and nothing happened. When I opened my eyes my fingers were still red and swollen but now in the evening they look normal as if nothing happened and the pain is also gone. I did ‘t put any cream on them either. All I did was revised the incident. I love revision!

I just want to say that you have literally changed my life. I watch all of your revision videos every time I’m feeling discouraged. It literally always transforms me on the spot. Every time. Whenever I’m doubtful I find myself back here. I realize that I’ve actually changed my whole life. My abusive dad left me as a child and I revised and changed my past, he is now in my life. I moved houses after living in a house I hated for years. I want to say thank you. You can LITERALLY change your past right now. And everyone forgets the old memories and only remembers the new. It’s amazing. Thank you

New revised memory should be revised since the beginning of the story as far back as we can go. Recall the good parts of it and complete erase any mishaps and misunderstandings. Bring it all to present time. Past is gone and future can always be brought to life in now and “I am,We are right now”. Feeling grateful of the new version! 🎉

      Hi Missy @manifestwithMissyRenee
I love and practice all your videos. I have also been using your overnight revision meditation, which has been so helpful. I can imagine a different outcome for several bad incidents and events, such as a breakup. But what I have a hard time with is this: in the case of childhood abuse that occurred over a span of years (which I have received years of therapy for), how do I imagine a different outcome? Do I imagine none of it ever happened as one whole occurrence, or do I revise them all individually, even though I can’t remember how many incidents there were. It would be so helpful for you to give me an example of what I can imagine during my revision. Thanks so much for all you do! ❤

    Notes:
    1. Activate a positive mental state. From a positive memory or whatever thing makes you feel that.
    2. Enrich that memory. Really drink in this experience for a good 20-30s. Feel really good to the best ability of it.
    3. Absorb it. Deepen the experience.
    4. Bring the new memory into experience. Take the old memory and bring forth how you wanted it to go instead.
This happens because of mood congruence, which is when you are in a good mood you are more likely to recall positive memories and vice versa. So it's easier to revise good memories when you are in a good mood.

I attempted this today. I put noise cancelling headphones on, played a 528Hz & 417Hz self love healing & trauma release solfeggio frequency meditation, and got into a SATS. I recalled a very traumatic memory involving physical abuse from when I was about 5 years old. I was able to rewrite that memory entirely into something very beautiful and filled with loving words and affection. I was crying as my new memory was created in my imagination. Later in the day, I tested the memory. The one my mind chose to recall first was the one I had rewritten. The loving feeling this gave me was so incredibly cool.
I plan to do this on so many more, but I know that some are going to take longer/more attempts/more focus.
I think what I am having a difficult time considering is how to repair memories of an emotionally absent parent & a physically absent one. Will that require me to create new memories from scratch? Like a lifetime's worth? Since I'm just starting out, that feels daunting right now, but at the same time, stands at the core of my self-love & healing.

I had heard something before about the energy of emotions and how it creates a momentum to attract similar experiences that resonate with that same frequency. So when you feel a strong negative emotion you can take the momentum of that and direct it towards something more positive. So like if you had a huge fight with someone and you are all word up wanting to punch a wall or something, just pause for a moment, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths while you think of something positive you want and keep your focus on the positive thing with all that energy flowing through you so that you can manifest what you want instead of more of what you don’t want.

Revising, like all things, is very personal, unique to the individual I believe. I worked with a coach, shared that I was stuck on how to best revise a traumatic childhood memory involving a violent altercation. This person suggested I imagine seeing the person dancing because that is what another coach suggested to her. That was a major stretch for me I couldn't quite connect to that. Eventually, on my own, while in the quite mental space, I tapped into an alternate possibility that I was able to connect with.

@Manni-lj2cy Which was what? Sometimes these comments don’t seem real. Ppl never say what they actually DID. what did you change the memory to? How do you keep your original memory of the event from intruding or coming up again? How do you respond when the old unity comes up again? Or do you never experience the old memory again?

  • @Ann-ot1oz
    @Ann-ot1oz Рік тому +67

In my opinion you don’t need to forget the old memory but have a different reaction to it when it does come to your mind. For example I revised some stuff from the past and now when something reminds me it and I remember I don’t react anymore the way I did before, Now it almost feels like it happened to someone else and there is no emotional attachment.

My favorite way of revision is thinking as if I’m Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz… if something happened in the past that I don’t like, I think of myself as Dorthy waking up from her crazy dream. I tell myself that it was all a dream and no one remembers. Even if characters like the lion and scarecrow were there, in my wakened state they don’t remember anything that happened. Only I do, because I dreamed it, but it was only a dream…. AND if for some reason I decide to continuously think of it again causing a manifestation of someone mentioning it, I don’t react, remind myself I just manifested this and it reminds me to change my thoughts…. It was only a dream.

I think revision is way easier to swallow when you've tried it. I'm just dipping my toes in from these videos. I've been starting by just revising little things. Like I didn't like that loud car outside my window earlier, so I revised it. And actually experiencing the change, but also being able to hold all of it at the same time, gives sooooo much peace. More than you'd think would come from just silencing a loud car from earlier. Working on deeper memories is more challenging, mostly because it's hard to pinpoint an actual memory to revise. A lot of stuff I just take as fact now after repeated occurrences. So working on that now

Please tell me if this is a good idea. I am revising my SP’s abusive childhood by going into my imagination and visiting, comforting, consoling, nurturing him during his most traumatic scenes of childhood. I am like a guardian angel for him throughout his life. This will have twofold benefits: he will have a healthier attachment style now, and less emotional/psychological issues, because there was someone to comfort him and reassure him that everything will be okay, and also, he will now recognize me as his true soul mate (as I’ve been with him all along), and the angel and goddess that I represent in his life, and see how irreplaceable I really am. What do you think? I would love feedback. This idea came to me yesterday while listening to your revision guided meditation which is AMAZING BTW and I’ve done 6-7 times since yesterday. It makes me wonder why I spend all this time ruminating or "enriching" bad memories when I could literally just be spending that time thinking about when things in the past actually worked out for me and I had a good time! @Empoweredwoman1234 Рік тому +4

Thanks for another wonderful video. I'm a bit like the person who said they have heaps of unwanted memories to revise, except that it kind of happened differently. In my case, I was born with very low vision and couldn't do anything as well as others until age 15, when I discovered I could sing. I decided that after finishing high school that this is what I wanted to do. My Dad promised me and my slightly younger sister a 1 year trip to spend time with him in Europe and L.A where he lived. I wasn't taken on any trip because Dad falsely believed I couldn't function like others my age. This wasn't true. My sister did get to go one year later, but came home after 6 months because she wanted to run around the clubs, which Dad wouldn't let her do in Australia. Anyway, neither of my parents so much as lifted the slightest finger to find me coaches or do anything to help me begin to slowly build a career in musical theater and as a singer. Mum didn't appreciate my independence and thought I just wanted everything done for me, but I was only lacking in confidence. She was verbally abusive from the time I was quite little. Dad just though of me as handicapped and didn't care to help me either. They outsourced me to disability employment services who treated me like a naughty kid if I didn't do what they said. My parents were only interested in food on the table and survivalist jobs for me.
Because of this I was pushed onto a traditional employment path that was only meant to be a backup while building my career. I was subjected to discrimination in finding work and my parents never let me make my own decisions. I also had no friends because i wasn't a borderline alcoholic like other young people and I was quite mature for my age. I ended up not leaving my home city where there are very few opportunities, especially as this all happened before the Internet came out so I really needed parents similar to what Leanne Rimes had, but starting at a later age. I gave up signing at age 22 as I knew nobody would help me. I never made more than 2 friends because I just never met many people to begin with and was out of alignment with my age group. Older people didn't fully accept me either. The friends I had were not useful in the right way and tended to reinforce my limits rather than expanding my opportunities. I also had to watch my sister make lots of friends, travel, have boyfriends, and get better treatment from our parents.
I did eventually get better treatment from my parents and Mum apologised for her abuse. However they did not fully confront the fact that they could have done something at least to support my goals. I may have met more people had I got to perform like I wanted to. This would have resulted in less discrimination (people with disabilities are accepted more outside of traditional employment) and possibly even marrying eventually.
In 2016 just before I was about to turn 40 I decided to reclaim the youth that my parents and friends stole from me, along with my singing. However the minute I started practicing singing, my nose started blocking up and dripping down the back of my throat so I had to stop and start, which I've been doing until I had nose surgery to improve the situation a little bit. This made me upset and angry, as I felt like something out there didn't want my defying my parents rules. My nose is a bit better but I still have problems on the right side. I don't know why this suddenly happened, as it reminded me of the lack of help from when I was young, and the feeling of being powerless/vulnerable.
As far as Revision goes, it's going to take lots of time on my part, as I also found that when I was employed, very few people invested the time and effort in my professional development so I could have the career progression I wanted in HR, since I didn't get to sing. Maybe those affirmations mentioned by the other person might be worth looking into. I hope I don't have to revise too many things, as the original decisions my parents made 30 years ago had such catastrophic consequences. I might be living in a different house, different city, and have different people in my life had all the choices been mine. Thanks once again for a great video.

Say a spouse cheated 10 years ago, and destroyed the entire family, and you revise it. This is what would happen: first you feel it never happened, then as you keep imagining the spouse responds as if it never happened. The energy of everyone is as if it never happened - no guilt, shame, feelings of betrayal or anything. Then if you keep imagining, eventually the 3D looks identical as if it never happened - you, your spouse and children end up living under the same roof and everyone on the planet will have no memory of it happening. All 3D evidence will disappear (photos, texts, etc.). Then after living together once more for like a year they may even insist you never broke up for 10 years and were together the whole time. Essentially you shift timelines.

It depends on what you want to do. For some it may serve as a trigger, as one commenter pointed out. For a few others, meanwhile, it may serve as a reminder of how far they've come. I've constructed a journal album for the sake of keeping those memories and creating more as a result of those manifestations and that I would be able to look back on them later as a reminder of how far I've come. 19:30- How can I alter the old story like my and family’s birth years, our ages, profession, being born in different country and more. As I want to revise multiple things at once and things like what majority of people think are impossible like changing your own age and the ages of your parents and siblings and also manifesting/ revising having an elder brother or sister (who you know currently does not exist). Changing the professions of your parents and your own. Revising living in a different country & simply waking up in your dream house in your dream country, being a multimillionaire and even your parents being billionaires.
How to manifest this quickly without being desperate or feeling anxious and do you think it’s possible to change things like this without rebirth. I don’t want to go into this cycle. I just want to alter everything in this particular reality.

Are you saying that revising bad memories that are recent (I'm referring to when you mention the couple of hours time window) is easier than revising traumatic events from years ago or decades ago? I have been trying to revise many things for months now, and it seemed so real to me because I was experiencing " new memories " after revising, but nothing ever happened in the 3D world to confirm anything; except in my mind. So I guess I didn't succeed. I had pretty much given up, but I'm going to try again utilizing the steps that you suggested in this video. Thank you Missy, I really appreciate you. I hope you don't mind me asking, but would you consider "seeing " a post from me on one of your videos saying "Oh my God! It worked! I have successfully revised the biggest mistake of my life!"? I apologize if it was inappropriate for me to ask you that, and I appreciate you and your helpful videos regardless of if you would consider seeing the post I mentioned or not. Hi guys. So, with the beginning of this year I decided to eliminate all debt from my life. My calculation shows that I will achieve this goal by the end of this year. And I am also manifesting a better car..since mine is well..not in the best state anymore... Well..a few days ago my car broke down..completely...so currently I have no vehicle and no founds to buy a new one. Feeling a bit discouraged, since things are going the opposite way...but I also know, that things like this happened when I previously manifested big changes in my life. So I will keep you updated on the events that will happen...let's see how this will unfold. I am curios.

Came across this video because I want to reset my life to 0? Like a new life? Is there any affirmations anyone can give an example of for revising being healthy physically? Or that I was never sick to be begin with? I was diagnosed with a terminal illness it’s been 9 years & I can feel it catching up to me and I’m scared 😱 daily so i want to revise on being healthy again? And what ever else in my life I don’t like? Any affirmations for health? Family (turn a bad family to a good one?) and I keep hearing the lucky girl syndrome but it really is just a concept of accepting that you are lucky! Nothing else to it and that’s the easiest to engrave in your thoughts and feelings.the hardest are health issues and money problems or family problems that mostly suffer with and I really to want change my health around to being 0? Or being healed! So if you can give out affirmations or tips on how to revise it I appreciate you! 🥰

You could revise what the doctor said. Instead of doctor saying, it is this diagnosis, hear in your imagination the doctor saying, I don’t see anything, all the tests are good. Something like this, I don’t know how your doctor speaks. It is more of a scene rather than affirmation. You can also imagine someone(maybe a family member or a friend) commenting, wow you look great and you answer, I’ve never felt better. I have had some health stuff going on for the oast couple of years and now I have been imagining that everyday and I’m better.

I am able to follow it until the explanation that it is scientifically proven that our memories are biased to a certain amount. Especially long term memories.
It is also known that events with a strong emotional impact (positive as well as negative) are engraved deeper in our memory brain. That last thing is also why they say: feeling is the secret.
It is even known that we all emotionally experience events in a different way, causing people sometimes having totally different and even contradictory stories about the same event.
But the difficult thing is: there remains a part where there is the actual (undeniable) event (or at least parts of it) on one side and a part the way we experience it in the other side.
I do believe we can change our emotions relating to events, freeing ourselves from the past. A nice example for instance is the use of EMDR in therapy.
But the thing I keep struggling with is that some things from the past just can’t be denied.
Extreme examples are big impactful events like war or abuse. How in heaven’s name is it possible to revise that in such a way that it doesn’t influence the outcome of the wish fulfilled ?
What happened yesterday does influence our lives in the now.
So can you give a real life example how one has dealt with this without totally ignoring what happened ? Because I think I’m going mentally insane when fully ignoring the past everytime 🤪.
Because extreme examples are often a good way to explain something I would say: how is one able to revise his or her past with an abusive partner ? In my eyes things like this aren’t always reparable anymore, so it would sound reasonable (and sane) to just leave that behind you and manifest a new (and better) SP.
Really curious about your answer @manifestingwithmissy 😊
