From what I recall, the one thing that derecho did NOT have was a photogenic shelf cloud. I was in Michigan and did not have a vehicle at the time - it collapsed around the time it made it to US-127 here in Michigan. I believe it was a progressive, but I’m not totally sure.

Ominous shelf cloud you have there. Is this one reminiscent of the August 10, 2020 derecho? And was this a serial or a progressive one?
