Thanks :) Of course it's a totally new concept for motorbikes. So it needs some time to get working better. But it's a really interesting system and makes fun to ride :)
Thanks for the video, not sure why Kawasaki bothered with this. Just seems like a Z650 with extra steps and complications. Infact the Z650 seems a little better performance too. Also not sure how much fuel someone is going to save and even if it matters that much.

@@mototop_ Yeah also I think Kawasaki should re assess their naming for E assisted models. Once you start naming models with a larger number then it's displacement because it's power is meant to emulate a larger engine with the addition of forced induction or a hybrid system it's a slippery slope to your model names just being a hot mess and not making any sense anymore. Just look a BMW and Mercedes as examples. Don't see any reason why Kawasaki should call it a 450 Eboost instead. The extra performance should speak for itself instead of pretending to be or live up to something it's not.
Thanks for the video ! I am a big fan of your work. Regarding the performance of this model, the numbers are a bit underwhelming. For example, it does worse than the Z650 (you previsously tested) in a 0-100 km/h run: 4.9sec for the Z7 with e-boost vs 4.4 for the Z650. Not sure where the "acceleration like a 1000c" marketed by Kawasaki is ? Or perhaps this 1000cc "feeling" is only on the very few first seconds. How did you feel about that while on the seat ? In terms of acceleration sensations with e-boost, in which cc category would you put this bike ?
yea they write at couple first metres or 60 ft +/- what can be true but its nothing special reallly me cb 500 can hang with litre sportbike on couple forst metresss 🤷🏻♂️ the point is the lower power to the lower speed from stsnd still ypu can hangwith more powerfull bike manufactpry setup 1 gear lenght in regard to power level and at which rpm it egzaist in such way for be at tire grip and whellly border in each basicallybike except very weak like 15 hp 125 where often 1 gear lenght is longer than which give whelllya sf border without clutch help 👌🏻 1 litres sport bike 200 hp have 1 gear to 150-170 km/h and 50 hp bike to 40-60 km/h depend on weight distribution + whole weight level also depend what manufactory want to achieve they have some range of setup 1 gear lenght feg for setup closer higher gear cos peak power is narrow feg theys often acrifice 1 gear thrust and make 1 gear longer sometimes vice versa depend on bike aplication and peak width gear wuantitiy asf👍🏻it have 0-50 km/h in 2,5 s and 1,5 sec with eboost with 1 ft on such accelerwtion can achieve each 200 kg bike with atleast 50-60 hp and each 200 hp bike cant be faster than this cos grip limited max accelerstion and whellly and not power level simple marketing bs trick 👌🏻 except that its automat os so achieve such accelerstion from stand still is super easy for anybaody and dont need to mcuh effort ypu jist twist throtle and everything happen basically itself 👌🏻diffrences in accelerstion came out later 👌🏻
Thanks :) my best attempt 0-100 was 4,7s per Gopro GPS and 4,5s per Dragy. Sadly at this attempt the shifting from 4th to 5th not worked well. The Z650 has less weight than the Z7 Hybrid. That could make the little difference.
They worth for technology and the all the things they are capable of, but... Yes, I still prefer my Z650 for now, I would like a performed H9 version (with a Z650/Z700 motor)
True that. Our 600cc Hornet goes 108kmh in first gear and takes 3.5seconds to go 100 from 0. It also weighs 30kg less when full. It is also pretty economic, if my girlfriend is riding, she uses 4-4.5L/100km...

😀Great job on the video Bro. Yeah not seen one of those bikes before, very good you got to test it. I likes it. The eboost is very handy to have when needed. Great stuff, Ill ask santa if I can get one for xmas LOL. Cheers👍👍🍻🍻
Parece um turbo boost dos processadores de computador... Dura uns 10 segundos e acaba. Kkkkkk Daí leva um tempo pra ativar de novo. Isso não é um Híbrido...

@@mototop_ In my opinion motorcycles don't need hybridization or become any kind of EV. They are such tiny fraction of global pollution that it doesn't make any difference. It's gonna be enough if most cars become "clean". Motorcycles are supposed to be fun, and it's not fun lugging around with heavy, slow, quiet, soulless and expensive bike. A motorcycle should be exact opposite of all that and current motorcycles are perfect. No need to ruin that.

Danke Fruend. Gut Video, Bis Bald.
Danke :)
Excellent video as usual!
This could be a pretty good setup on a future Versys...
Thanks :)

Very nice comparison @3:31

very nice such an "electric" race button for light motorcycles🥳
or the Turbo Boost from KNIGHT RIDER :)

Great video with the re-upload version 😅
@@zelcpavle5494 Thanks 😊 sadly I haven't compared the fuel consumption. I only do the GPS tests 😅
@@mototop_ hehe no problem... thanks anyway 💪 or better danke 😄

Ninja 7 and Z7 are cool bikes but they are slow and heavy. For me, they don't worth the money

A Kawasaki ad states the Z7 performs like a 1000 cc sports bike. Not quite.
maybe the first meters at the launch.... :)
@@mototop_ Perhaps. Good observation. 200 hp liter bikes are a real handful from a dead stop.

Bem, mesmo com um veículo elétrico completo você não pode acelerar até a velocidade máxima infinitamente muitas vezes seguidas.
The dystopian future. I hope this thing will flop.
