i'm 20 years old i just wanted to say thank you so much for this video 🙏 i haven't been allowed to cook or anything since i was younger so this helped a lot, thank u man
I've had many convection ovens over the years. I have this one in copper. The black tray u have in the bottom is a cookie sheet that came with it. Cover ur crumb tray with aluminum foil, heat ur cookie sheet during the pre heat & put ur pizza on the hot cookie sheet to sear the bottom. Cook at 400 F and use the convection feature for about 20 min until brown and crisp. My ex used to put everything on the rack & that's why I had to keep buying new convection ovens, they were impossible to keep clean. :)
It is amazing how light the oven itself is. When i was taking mine out of the box, and at the moment it actually slid out, I'm like whoah! this things light as can be. Nice video!
put some foil on the drip tray (bottom) so it will catch anything that drops on the tray, gets dirty throw away and replace foil ... certainly will keep it clean as opposed to your previous oven...
According to Stoeffer's customer service, if you have a convection oven (which this is) reduce the temperature by 50 degrees and the cooking time by 25%
I have never seen so many kitchen gadgets as you have. I don't think even department stores can compete with your collection. You are going to have to add a pantry to your house just to store them in. (LOL) Thanks for the videos.
I bought this oven mostly to cook pizzas. We like crispy crust so towards the end of it cooking we cover the top so toppings won't burn. Makes the crust golden still chewy and toppings are cooked nicely.
I bought my first toaster oven a few days ago. It's like yours, but has control knobs instead of computer buttons. There is a slight gap, when the doors close. I've made toast, fine. I baked chicken last night, not so fine. Maybe I should use the lower rack for chicken and other meats, and upper rack for breads. Good video.
They are good for a short while only. They will break down in a year to three years, if you have a large family that uses the toaster oven daily. It’s mostly the controls or the heating coil that will break down.
I just bought this convection oven and found your video! A stroke of luck and now I found you!!! I like this oven because it is electric and we are going off grid with a solar project. Our old propane gas oven will be history and so will the gas stove. I will be looking for a super efficient electric cooktop. Thanks for this video! We all need to get off fossil fuels and this kind of oven would probably be great for starting the transition. Peace! Happy New Year!
Good work man. I've been looking at this model and wondering how big a pizza fits in it. You showed that 16" pizza in it and it cooked it good. Thanks.
I know this is a year old, but I'm researching convection oven since I have never owned one. Scratching my head though, with how they say to rotate the pizzas if doing 2 of them. Why not use the convection and that should solve the problem, shouldn't it? Because the whole point of the convection is the use of the fans and suppose to be even cooking all around with the air circulation?
Hello Doug! I just ordered the copper one on QVC. I searched and searched for a toaster oven and even purchased a couple, just to return them. The last one was a Hamilton Beach, which I returned unopened, because the reviews weren’t good. I have a couple questions. First, can one use a pizza stone in this oven? Second, how does the toast come out? Is it dry all the way through like a crouton, or is it still a bit moist on the inside but browned on the top and bottom? Well, I like this video. Thanks for sharing it with us. Nancy O.
Heyyy Doug, Great review! I LOVE the look of those french doors! Do the doors swing back and STAY that way? I'm concerned about the HOT doors swinging back on my arms. Put some foil at the bottom. It didn't take long for a LOT of people in the group to get that oven! TFS 💞
Ohhhhh, I love my oven. Thank you for putting me onto it. How about making some of your fabulous videos using the Oster Convection Oven? Oh, and the pamplet that comes with it doesn''t really help with baking times and stuff. Do you know of anything that will help with timing things? I warmed up some leftover pizza in it and hit the Pizza setting and changed the time to 7 minutes. It warmed it up perfectly. I'd like to make a few casseroles and put them in there but I have no idea how long to cook them for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
I had the one just like this with the drop down door. I have had it for a long time and frankly I have hammered it. problem with that is I have burned myself several times on the door when taking things out. I'm waiting for it to die because mine looks ten time worse than your old one believe me 😜 and I think the 20 mins might be a setting for frozen pizza.
One, didn't hear a good crunch of crust. I say more time. Swcons6, how did you deal w/ door gap. I've been interested but see that door gap is #1complaint.
Hi Doug, I hope you're still checking the comments on this video, it looks like it's been posted a year. I have a question. I was reading reviews of this oven and some said they had a problem with the doors slamming shut. Did you have that problem? I noticed when you opened them it seemed to have a little click and the doors stayed open. Am I correct? Or do you have the same problem with them slamming shut? Thanks for the video. It's helpful.
Try covering the edges of the pizza with strips of foil; remove the foil during the the last 5 - 10 minutes of cook time. Regardless of oven type, the edges of a pizza always cook faster than the center.
I'm watching and got to where you took it out. Looks a bit more baked on the right than left. Possibly bake more evenly if you rotate a 1/4 turn every 10 min? I'm seriously considering but you showed this next to your stove top for size. When they state the size as 22 x 19.5 x 13 in do I consider the 13 to be height? My opening is only 14-1/2 H. I'd hate to get something I really want and find out I can't stuff it in the space :)
Thanks man. On Amazon this is 200$ I wanted to check on it before I spent that kinda money. My oven went out so I needed a alternative for now. I'm subscribed. Any idea how it cooks meat like a chicken?
Hello I like your video and I really thinking about getting me one. Can you tell me where you get your plate from because I've been looking for those plates because they have them on QVC Channel and they always putting food in those plates and I want to know where can you get those same plates from and I see that you got one so can you tell me where you get yours from?
Doug, you're too funny ! Get that pizza out of my face LOL..(my mouth is watering right now, I'm going to make a small pizza in the toaster oven LOL...thanks Doug :)
Mine lasted three years, then the buttons stopped working. I bought another one but this time with dial controls not digital controls. That one lasted one year then the heating coil stopped working. They work good until they stop working in a year to three years. :( I’m very disappointed and sad about it because I really loved using it.
I am a huge appliances pro. People loves to criticize modest valuable appliances, like oster, kitchenaid and Breville. I am struggling with the timer. Sometimes I’m able to set it to cook up to six hours but sometimes only up to 90 minutes. I need it to do 6 hours, anyone have any idea how to change it? I was able to do it before but can’t seem to do it again.
Tried a Stromboli , disaster. The ends and filling were hot, the middle filling was barely warm and dough not done. This Am I tried a bagel, could not get the oven to go to dark on toast. I hope it was just a bad day. This was the first day I have used it.
Hi cookingwithDoug, nice video. Quick question is this unit intent for commercial use or just for random use at home? Thanks in advance for your answer Doug in keep the good work bro!

I tried making Pillsbury grand biscuits a few times and it comes out a little burnt on the top and doughy on the bottom...any advice?
I don't see a black cookies tray from the video
It is amazing how light the oven itself is. When i was taking mine out of the box, and at the moment it actually slid out, I'm like whoah! this things light as can be. Nice video!
Nice oven but dude that pizza needs to cook more the edges need to be a little more brown..
I seen this in Wal-Mart. Looks so beautiful and amazing. Thanks for review
Doug, my hubby and I literally just turned to your channel to see if you'd made your video yet, we love ya keep 'em coming!!!
I just got this same oven, planning to make 2 pizzas Sunday from scratch, so glad to find your video.
Try lining the drip try with foil to avoid that nasty burnt "stuck on forever" drippings and save that tray - Also as for your pizza - IT's RAW!
Thanks for viewing :)
Dude! I got me the oven and it works awesome. Thanks for your video and hope you do more
Is it safe to use foil in it when food is heating .
Right! Was thinking the same thing. I hope he doesn't get sick
Guys YES you can put foil in a toaster oven, not sure why people keep asking...I DONT BECAUSE ITS GHETTO! thanks
put some foil on the drip tray (bottom) so it will catch anything that drops on the tray, gets dirty throw away and replace foil ... certainly will keep it clean as opposed to your previous oven...

Setting ours up now. Playing this on tv for my husband and his new oven. Thanks
g1rl6oo how do you like it now that you’ve had it a year? My dad just got me this for Christmas but haven’t used it yet.
I have never seen so many kitchen gadgets as you have. I don't think even department stores can compete with your collection. You are going to have to add a pantry to your house just to store them in. (LOL) Thanks for the videos.
Apparently you've never met my mom. She said Doug is an "amateur" when it comes to number of kitchen gadgets. lol
+Glenn Robertson correct...i am...i just started cooking seriously in 2013
I'm remodeling my kitchen and everything is going to be " as seen on TV"🤪
I bought this oven mostly to cook pizzas. We like crispy crust so towards the end of it cooking we cover the top so toppings won't burn. Makes the crust golden still chewy and toppings are cooked nicely.

Sandy BlueOcean Ser there gas toaster ovens?
Door not working
Thanks for taking the time to post this video.
Good work man. I've been looking at this model and wondering how big a pizza fits in it. You showed that 16" pizza in it and it cooked it good. Thanks.
I've been wanting this oven for a while, so I think I'll be getting it!
I just got mine today. Super excited just did toast in it super fast but it doesn't let me pick how light or dark I want it

I put foil on my crumb tray and all my pans for ease clean up!
Yeah that pizza needs another 10-15 minutes

Pizza option doesn’t preheat. I love this oven
It's also convection!
Preheating with the pie already in 🤣😂🤣
Can't fix stupid!
Do you know if you can turn the beeping/noises off? I do a lot of early morning cooking and the beeping/alarms are not pleasant.
Thank you!
Does the outsides, the sides, top and back get really hot when you use it ?? 🤨
yes, really hot!
Doug I am going to take pictures of my kitchen and dining room I Have no room for this beauty. And She's pretty.
Love my Oster Designed for Life Toaster Oven.
Nice video man! You had all the information I needed to hear about this oven. Nuggets for the boy sold it though!!!! Keep up the good work.
I was wondering if you have the option to use the timer or not? or do you have to use the timer in order for the temperature to come on?
What tools do I need to insert/remove pizza from the oven besides a pizza peel? Thank you.
I had the one just like this with the drop down door. I have had it for a long time and frankly I have hammered it. problem with that is I have burned myself several times on the door when taking things out. No worries with the door, they kinda help you along so if you let go it will slam shut, but if you know b4 hand it's not a problem
I just saw that oven on QVC or HSN. Had a decent price. I was tempted but didn't.
Does the light stay on the entire time it's cooking
I have this but Galanz brand and yes.. its not for make the floor all but for termination its good !

Wow nice oven Doug and a killer pizza.
+Cookingwith Rick THANKS RICK!!!
should you leave both racks in while cooking toast?
The doors got stuck shut and only one would open they are both messed up. The whole thing is taken apart. So now what do I do?
Does anybody know how to fix the oven doors on this Oster Oven?
I love this oven and have it 5 yrs that's why I want to fix it.
Thanks man. On Amazon this is 200$ I wanted to check on it before I spent that kinda money. My oven went out so I needed a alternative for now. I'm subscribed. Any idea how it cooks meat like a chicken?
Costco it's on sale $99.00 Jan 2021

I think pizza preset is for frozen pizza, not the fresh one you have
Thank you, I just got one!
Hello, does it like with air fryer in market? Because I don't like air fryer at all it doesn't make food with its smell of though. Thanks
Mark Do air fryer is MUCH better than this oven
Thanks Doug
I want to know INTERIOR dimensions, especially heights (to fit in a small turkey at least).
You have just shy 9in from the bottom rack to the upper element. Turkey breast yes, whole turkey?????
Black & Decker has a decent extra wide oven, I almost went with that one over the Oster. It is massive though.
Every Black & Decker I've ever bought died in the first two years I will never buy a Black & Decker anything again
Very nice video, thank you!
What is the highest temp this oven goes to?
I just got this oven in yesterday the control buttons are impossible to handle, it just won't turn on, how do you get the damn thing to work?!
Sounds like your unit is defective, exchange or return 🤷🏾♂️
Thank you God bless.
Cooking with Doug where did you get it ?????
I have not seen one yet
Huhhh... this is old...Walmart sells it or better yet do a google search
Hows it held up so far any issues ?
The cardboard won’t let us open the door how can we fixed it
Hi question does anyone know if it can be used as a regular microwave? My microwave gave out and I’m thinking of getting this instead... thanks
Dude...a microwave is a microwave...THIS IS NOT A MICROWAVE 🤷🏾♂️
I like that thanks for videos
Keep your videos come in and cook some more things in it I like how you made the pizza it looked at so good

CAN the bottom get crispy in that?
Will a whole chicken fit in this oster toaster oven?
ABSOTIVELY!
nice! :)
Am I the only one that saw a terrified face in that last slice of pizza?
+Jim InPcola lol
Just do one pizza at a time, the two pizza thing is a sales pitch
Tried a Stromboli , disaster. The ends and filling were hot, the middle filling was barely warm and dough not done. This Am I tried a bagel, could not get the oven to go to dark on toast. I hope it was just a bad day. This was the first day I have used it.
Its preset for 20 mins because usually it's a frozen pizza put in there.
Hi cookingwithDoug, nice video. Quick question is this unit intent for commercial use or just for random use at home? Thanks in advance for your answer Doug in keep the good work bro!
+Edú García random...i use like an avg person would use a toaster oven. Example garlic bread, multiple hotdog/hamburger bread, pizza all sizes as well as reheating from frozen, cupcakes...just whatever lol
Hey Doug thanks a lot for your quick reply. I'm considering this oven for a small cafe. I'm planning to bake the taco salad shells, so it would be great to use this oven in my business project. Have a nice day Bro!
A need to roll out the tape measure... :) Do preheat before putting your pizza or other into the oven. Your Crum tray should have aluminum foil on it to keep it clean. I appreciate the videos very much but better to make them when you have the time to do so and not on a break. Not a knock just hopefully constructive criticism..
+Curiosity Yeah true...but I'm not a perfect or super clean video maker...that's what's my subscribers love about me and actually like..
So production and lightning in my opinion needs a boost, but being me on these videos has worked out GREAT
Instructions are very specific NOT to use foil in this oven. Will overheat it.
I just stuck a large pizza pan under it on the bottom rack to catch drips and spills. Worked just fine.
Well I took the dive and ordered one of these, the best price right now was direct from Oster. After watching again I buy the same pizza from Walmart, it;s actually quite good. I'm not sure but I think they may be placing the 20 minute time frame for frozen? I see the comments on Not using foil but I have used them on all similarly designed products and it works fine as long as it is tight fitting and not loose as to get into the heating elements. That is probably why they discourage it. Again thanks for the review. I still use one of their large 2005 units that I bought from Sam's club for 50.00, have another digital version that is my mainstay in the garage. popped the thermal fuse on that one but replaced it and it works fine today, just to small. Can't wait to get it, I think this is going to be the best of the best for the price.
+Curiosity THAT'S AWESOME!!!
I am really interested in this Oster. There appears to be a gap in between the doors, is that the case, or is it a reflection ? ? ?
David Derfus, the space between the doors is for the circulation of air when using the convection function.
Hi Doug! Can this fit 9 by 13 pans?
+Shindaiwaman261 yes
Thanks man! Really appreciate it! Peace out!
Yes
Thank you for letting me know
new gadget nice that's so cool
Now I can't get the toast to toast like I like it. How do I get the shade to work. I keep pushing the button and nothing happens. My toast was like a crouton this AM. Somebody please help! I bought this because of the excellent reviews but I am not seeing it. Also made cake, outside was crisp, middle gooey. Thew it out.
+Marion Knarr ouch!!
Had this for two years buttons start couple others no longer work
pizza is undercooked!
I love the french doors I'm looking for a new toaster oven my died today. I have a question can you turn the BEEPER OFF ? I can't stand the annoy beeping.
+sweetbrandigirl no
Just got ours today. Those doors require more space to fully open - we moved it several times. It’s beautiful tho. Red model.
This is all convention Oven not a regular oven cooks quicker
Good tip 4 the pepperoni will try
That pizza does not look appetizing. It looks almost raw. Pizza should be golden brown.
Welp I guess that was my raw look at the oven then lol, thanks for viewing!!
Where can I find the product
+Demetra Davis qvc .com it's call an oster French Door oven...i just purchased a new oven from qvc what until you see that
JUSTSEENTHISLASTLAST!THANKYOU!MYONLYCONCERNISDOTHEDOORSSTAYCOMPLETELYOPENDURINGWHENTHEYAREOPENED!
Cuantos kilos le caben a ese horno.
I wonder if the pizza button is for frozen pizzas. Your pizza was fresh.
Next time get a 12 inch pizza...you don’t want the sides of the pizza touching the oven walls
can you leave it in there longer to make the pizza more crispy I hate flimsy Pizza
I like my Breville smart oven
Hola, me gustaría que tradujeran los videos al español, gracias
