@@dictatorduckula9181 Thats a really great question. I know he uses AI as a source but heavily edits it manually with or without graphic tablets etc. I am no graphic artist so I dont really know that much about these things.
@@wogen4408 actually its a great picture but i totally disagree with AI works and stuff and i dont categorize it as art. and as much as i can see. only two edit happened on this picture. one is your description and another one is the color grading. if he heavily edited this picture. he should've been noticed the flowers in the sky with literally no shape and no sense. BTW you did a great job with this music mate. have a great day. and try not use AI generated stuff on your work. try to draw or photograph something. its way more better and it shows how much work and time you did on the album. if you use AI. suddenly ppl like me think about the lowest quality on your work. most of the time cover art defines the music and the greatness of it
@@dictatorduckula9181 Thanks for the explanation! We were not aware that the whole AI thing has become such an epidemic at this point. For us it was just artwork that fit the mood and contextual motives of the EP very well and was done with a lot of manual work (so we were told, the font and lighting were added afterwards, i suppose an actual oil painting at this scale would not be feasible). Of course we don't endorse outsourcing creative work to AI, it would not fall under our definition of art either. As musicians or generally as people in the creative industry we wouldn't want our jobs to be done by automated programs either. Sorry if this has put a damper on your listening experience, but thanks for pointing it out. For what it's worth, we put our hearts into the music and the production which we did with no budget but great friends who helped mix and engineer where we couldn't have done it by ourselves. In that spirit, next time it's pencil drawings. Pinky promise. Best wishes Wogen
I was initially interested in post rock but I'm starting to see that everything new I check out sounds just like everything else. A lot of it is very slow and listless.... no energy. I'm losing interest in this genre and it's unfortunate.
Sometimes I like stuff with no energy so that doesn’t bother me, but like with most genres, you can’t expect everything new that comes out to be great. You should expect the average album to be well… average

Check out Where Mermaids Drown's new album, it's got a hell of a lot of energy, especially the later tracks
