I wanted to be offended by the comment about Americans not knowing geography, but its true. To the point that I though it was Seattle also and I live there.
I'm never going to be offended by the likes of un(der)employed millennial vloggers, but her high-riding observation was an unnecessary jab at the intelligence of Americans. The best part was watching her gag on all that crow when she found out she was incorrect.
But what does that say about the influence of American culture when places thousands of miles away look so much like America, you are fooled into thinking they are America?
I knew it wasn't Seattle (I live here) pretty much off the bat because I played bus roulette when I moved here pre-pandemic - I looked at the map and took random buses for a day. I got very familiar with the city, the drivers were super helpful and I got to know the city quite well. It's made me a good tour guide.
How about a tour guide company called GET LOST,. Who would care if on your tour, you ended up drunk, in Ireland, with 2 of the fun Try girls! I want 2% of the profits for that name BTW. lol!
Oh man this was a great one TRY channel! To hear shaun laugh right at 12:59 as Eadaoin's mouth drops was great! LOL. Keep these videos coming you great guy's and gal's!!
Here's an interesting fact - at about 5:30 George mentions that London has a reputation for being foggy but he's never seen it that way. That reputation started WAY back when the primary source of heat was woodchips & coal, and the pollution was such that london was always enveloped in airborne particulate, giving the fog something to condense on. Clear the pollution, cleared the fog.
This was one of your all-time best!! George Fox & Lolsy are ALWAYS stars in everything. Éadaoin & Paddy are always bosses. LOVED everyone. Great episode!!
Eadaoin would love to see Americans try this game, because of their alleged poor geography skills. Meanwhile they're getting lobbed softballs like the Golden Gate Bridge, Time Square and the Hollywood sign and acting like they're modern day Sherlock Holmes 😅
loved this! More geoguessr (and googling on-screen) and info like that, please and thank you! xP and *friendly reminder sharks and crocs and the rest don't infest waters, they live there and they're beautiful and important and invaluable to nature and the planet(: most humans are the infestations not them.*! have a good one!

I think her point was most Americans are shockingly clueless when it comes to world geography which is a well known fact tbh. You should look up the compilations called "what's the dumbest thing an American has said to you", it's not as mean as it sounds its actually pretty entertaining but the vast majority of them are about Americans who have absolutely no clue about geography, even of their own country. One that sticks out in my mind is someone in the dmv didn't know Indiana was a state and even when they called the manager who also looked at this girls Indiana ID they still refused her because she needed to have a US ID!!
@@natb9919 I agree with you that many Americans are ignorant of world geography but offer up that same fact for citizens of other countries, ie, your local citizen in Burundi can find Washington, DC, on a map as often as a Virginian/Marylander can find Gitega on the map. I was pointing out, albeit left-handed, that this type of geographical ignorance is not endemic to the US alone, hence the pint offer if Éadaoin was as geographically up to snuff on where I live any more than I was up to snuff on where she lives. It was a sucker's bet to begin with, lol, since my family is from Eire. Cheers....

love you so much for calling the SF bridge the Sacramento side!!!! I am born and raised in Sacramento, and I hate going to San Francisco, I hate driving toward it or through it.
Put 'em on some harder maps... have 'em spend 3 hours stepping down a road in Australia.... desperately looking for a road sign. ANY sign. Anything to indicate where you are. Yeah. GeoGuessr... Good times... LOL
@@paulfeist I was playing once and I though I was in Africa due to the really barren roads and nothing ahead for miles , but it turned out to be Australia 🥲😂
I used to draw maps of the world as a kid. All the continents, and I still can and without reference. My childhood love of maps helped put me on a career path to become a professional artist (look me up, kids). I can still accurately name/label 113 countries on a modern world map where the names haven't been filled in. Even though many countries have names that have changed in recent years, I still love geography. Maybe I'm that rare American, but Geography was always one of my best subjects. Geography used to be taught in school back in my day. I'm doubtful that it is still taught in most States in the U.S. today though. The curriculum has changed a lot in the last few decades. I don't know if kids learn that much about the world outside of the States in school now. Do they?? I'm very doubtful. Carmine SanDiego, where are you when we need you?
I'm of the same ilk but would like to think your knowledge is more the norm than rare. As to learning the world's geography, lessons now come in the form of a 3" x 6" phone screen more so than books. Bless or curse google - take your pick. Cheers....
The chick playing with Paddy (only caught his name sorry), really got her due when she threw shade at Americans and then was hundreds of miles off. As an American I am a little touchy about the state of our educational systems, I was even when in school. Europeans have so much more support and honest education. We are taught and distracted using someone's agenda. As young formidable but just forming impressionable minds, by the time we realize we are being hoodwinked we've graduated and are either thrown into college (a type of work you must pay to achieve and pay DEARLY), or a "career" to which you will surrender your happiness and time with lives ones, for the rest of your life. If it sounds bleak, that's bc it is. We are made to believe education for education sakes is ignorant. We do all of this, even if it ISN'T what's written on our souls bc we are terrified of poverty. If poverty occurs, your health WILL suffer and you will get little to no financial support from your government. Americans are driven by fear, fear of failing, fear of being miserable SO MUCH SO that they never have time to realize they ARE miserable. I am 40 years old and still struggling to escape the poverty I was born into. Not to mention, travel is DAMN near our of the question. After we pay for our educations, our healthcare & (if we are lucky, and I'm not), our dental care, there is nothing left over to take holidays... EVER. So we can't learn geography organically either. Besides we don't get vacations or time off, especially NOT paid leave from our jobs AND we are barely holding on as it is. Please think before you speak ill of things which you have not experienced. I WISH I had been born in Europe, or anywhere y'all came from. Maybe I would have been able to afford to eat today, instead I made sure my son did and I will have to live off the satisfaction that he doesn't go without until I can once again afford a meal for myself. I'm not complaining, I am proud of myself bc I am a survivor, and always will survive no matter what. I just hate how ignorant Americans are portrayed, bc we are A LOT OF THINGS, but ignorant, quitters and half assers, for the most part we are NOT. While there is always an exception to the rule, most Americans are loving proud people who hate to see anyone suffer bc we are so used to people being blind to our suffering just bc the falsehoods portrayed about our country.
