I am currently studying LL.B. in Bangladesh. After finishing my degree, I want to go to the UK to become a barrister at UK.As far as I know, if someone wants to be a barrister in the UK, they have to finish their bachelor's degree in British law. So what is the process and requirements for foreign law degree law students to be eligible for Bar at Law in the UK?
If you are a student, you must complete the LLB from the UK to fulfill the academic component of the Bar. Law degrees from foreign countries (e.g. Bangladesh) are not accepted for the purpose of Bar courses.

After completing the required practicing period, you can definitely apply for Exemption Application to the BSB to sit for the Bar Transfer Test.

LLB degree from UoL or LLM has no bearing on BTT. The only requirement is that you have to be a practicing Advocate at Bangladesh with the required experience. Thanks

Yes, you will need to go to London to appear in the BTT Exam. Cost depends on many factors, kindly check the website of BPP Law School (BTT Program) as well as the relevant visa/airfare for traveling to the United Kingdom, and accommodation costs in London.

The two exams are same, they are taken in same question, same time and same place.
That means I cannot take the exam from Bangladesh. I have to sit for these exams going to England!

An academic LLM will not make you qualified for the BPC or BTC program, you will need to complete the academic component by taking an LLB or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), or Professional LLM (which is basically GDL) from the recognized English law schools.
