Great message, Uncle Angus. What bothers me and I not only hear it often but see it all around me where people...even believers in Christ will make a promise only to break it not realizing that promise is a vow that you not only make with a person but also with the Lord, Himself. Look at all the people today who set out to get married for example and they're saying those vows/promises when in fact many either do not know that when they do this it's not just between those two people but God, Himself or they just don't care. It's quite an eye opener when you come to the realization of what a promise really all entails and we as a body of believers, we need to wake up more to this fact and truth. It's amazing when you sit down in your quiet time and read the Bible and there you see the promise followed by a command. You can't get the promise if you're not willing to do the command. I know you just spoke this but it really is a big deal and we need to know where our hearts stand with Christ. Like I stated, great message, Uncle Angus. Thank you! God bless you and your family always. Btw, sure love those round bales in the field and seeing the horse walk by. I saw round bales in a field today and I got so excited because I know God put them there for me to see. He knows how much I love them. Always makes my day. God bless 🙏🕊️✝️🌹🤗

This is with respect a bad example about the importance of keeping your word, a man killing his own daughter because he idiotically promised to do something which God never required. Do you think God would hold it against him if changed his mind because he realized he was in fact sinning against Love itself? As a Christian I reject this notion.
