Lol. HAD TO YEEEET THAT BUSTER.
yewwww
Thank you for only 2 trebles
Nice video bro beans 😎💪🏼
Nice video man! Watching this definitely got me hyped to try out the calissa!
Dude, it's the most satisfying way to fish. They smash it.
That Calissa is the word right now. Clearly working. Good stuff man 👍
Hope you’re not anti-satchel, that’s a long tradition for fly fishermen toting fish while bush whacking up and down lakes and rivers in the NW. Some of my favorite photos of my gramps from the 30s is with his fly rod and satchel.
Is the riverside 10' UL better than the 9.6 celilo?
The riversider is not better than the Celilo! It is a fun rod since its Ultra light, but the quality is not there. You will get a longer life out of the Celilo. IMO
@@MastablastaFishing 9'6 or 8'6? Does it make a difference?
Not to much difference. Probably 5 yards casting difference.
@@MastablastaFishing Thanks a ton Mario!
Treble hooks are for less-experienced fishing dudes, who need the extra hooks to snag the fish. Elongated cuts of latex gloves on a single hook works, nothing fancy...even caught them on bare hooks. Not just sayin'.....!!!
After watching this, the 4x hooks are clearly not the reason your boy didn’t have much luck!
Geez! You make it look so easy!!! Thanks for picking up the slack that day and the last few trips!
Hey Man. Nice Vid! Have you used any other type of sardine lure to catch these Perch?
@brullen company I have only used the LC and Calissa. Any recommendations?
Nice surf perch vid brotha, I wear a gamakastu finger protector, it’s well made last’s me about 4 seasons in the salt, when you fish braid ya gotta have it, stay safe out there 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Epic day brotha that’s awesome
♨️♨️♨️♨️🎣🎣🎣 Very Nice!
Nice, I just got into ocean fishing. I'm digging it but I need a Calissa lure now. Gulp sand worms only produce small perch.
Where are you fishing at..? I'm in Port Hueneme
We fish from Oceano to Avila.
What's the exact size of this minnow? I look on amazon and they have different sizes. I want to try it in Oregon and Washington coast. Thx in advance for your info.
Calissa 110
good video man but got a question, did you get that fishing rod on amazon? it looks like it has real good action.
Thanks for watching. I actually bought the rod from Dicks sporting goods. I loved this rod. It was a ultra light. Every fish felt like a beast. Unfortunately it is in fishing gear heaven. Snapped it durring my latest halibut video.
@@MastablastaFishing ahh thats the worst!!! thats the only thing that scares me about going ultra light. I've been using a light 6ft trout rod. might just look for a longer one but stay light. thanks again and keep killing it! I fish Pismo from time to time so hopefully I run into you guys after all this is over.
I was at Oceano all morning and got nothing on the Calissa or Gulp sandworms. Regardless of the tide, weather, or method I always skunk in the surf. If I didn't see you guys land fish every week, I would not believe it is possible.
Sorry to here you skunked. Trust me we have had some skunk trips that don't make it to UA-cam. LoL. We walked 5 miles south and found some, but not the quality we wanted.
