Yes but the ref allowed him to continue, so either its his own fault or the refs. Sam-A just did what he was told to, continue fighting

@@michaelandersen5054 not at all Sam's mistake he did what he has to but the ref did not make his best decision because Hamidi was not ready at all to fight - the refere should have waved off the fight.
To be fair, not raising hands is common after knockdowns, and they continue. He wasn't wobbly when getting up, and he did so immediately.
Mistake? Yes. But I would have made the same one.

I agree. I felt the reff rushed that opponent before checking if his senses were all there. I believe the reff supposed to make the fighter raise both gloves up for protection to show that hes ready. The fighter didnt show that and reff failed to notice it. Its basic steps after a knockdown in any combat sports @peterelliott7333
sorry but the refere did not a good job, as some clear can see Hamidi is not ready at all he is still in nirvana - the refere should have waved off after the knock out... but on the other side it is always a live and fast decision to make...

The referee didn't waved off the fight because she didn't want to upset Hamidi's fans/supporters nor cause any drama. She rather let the two fighters finish their jobs, LOL
