+1 to always checking your trimmers! That can drastically alter your day

Everybody's fucked it up at least once as well. I had a real "oh shit" moment once going off a super committed cliff exit with one trim fully open and one fully closed on a 9.5 Mirage RS. Fun times!

Video is awesome, I have few questions. When you have a speedwing can you fly where you want or you need to pay in certain places to fly? Also can you paraglide too with a speedwing? And last question, how long can a flight last with a speedwing?

In the US as long as you are on public land and local bylaws haven't specifically banned it(also not in controlled airspace near an airport) you're pretty much good to go. There are club managed flight parks that require membership. With how much work goes into those parks its always a good idea to help out by getting the membership if you intend to fly there.
Technically loaded light enough you can thermal on a speedwing but its very inefficient. Flights range from a minute on a short mountain to hours of soaring in the ridge lift at some sites. My average flight is probably about 3 minutes.

just found your channel, love the flying! i am interested in learning so i had a question, would you recommend learning paragliding then going to a smaller one? i have a class scheduled on the 8th and was curious, awesome videos man!

Definitely recommend starting bigger and slowly working your way smaller. There is SOOOOO much to learn on the big wings first. Kite, kite, and more kiting haha
