Jota NEEDS to start in games like last night. Diaz is great at stretching a defence and pulling defenders out of position, but when up against a low block that is just gonna let him drop deep he just doesn't have that killer instinct to take the 1 or 2 half chances he gets. In the grand scheme of thing when you look where we've draw games they're all decant points 2-2 away to Arsenal 3-3 away to Newcastle 2-2 against Fulham with 10 men 2-2 with United at home (but hammered them away) and now 1-1 away with Forest The only "bad" result of the season was losing at home to forest but I'd argue that's because of Slot playing the South Americans after a international break, before realising the physical demand of the league properly.
The more we hear categoric assurances of victory for LFC in the Prem...the greater the liklihood it wont happen.. Involvement in 3 other competitions will lay heavily on expectations ...and lack of reinforcements in January will have it's consequences....so..so..many factors weigh against teams ASSURED that the prize is theirs
Right now as a Liverpool fan my confidence comes more from our rivals inability to take advantage when wr drop points than current form. City max points is 86 after draw with Brenford which means even if they somehow won every game until end of season you would expect either Arsenal to hit 86/87/87/89 so super low probabolity. Chelsea have basically conceded after last couple of results. I am concerned for is, low block teams playing very direct are now causing is issues and we had a massive fall off last season in second half(its the same team). What gives me confidence is Arsenals squal has no depth, it is very hard right now to see them do a 13/14 game win streak which means season could be a bit of a slog and we have points in the bag.
Forest were lucky, we should have won that game, that keeper is insane. I do think he waited too long to make the change and yes I know it was the perfect time as Jota scored and Tsimikas assisted with their first touch of the game, but I would have preferred the change earlier
Yes we will win the league but the league isn't over yet there's plenty more games to win the league but I do believe we will win the league up the reds
Diaz should not be “rotating” with gakpo. If gakpo desperately needs a rest then Diaz should come in but gakpo needs to be playing as much as possible because he has the ability to drag us out of a tough position, Diaz folds under any pressure
He’s gone off the boil last few months but he was excellent v spurs and started the season off well, agree Gakpo is ahead of him right now only issue is he doesn’t run in behind so opposition depending really
@ A handful of good games in September isn’t good enough. He’s barely broken double digits for assists over 4 years and massively underperformed xg, costing us in big games. He’s fine when we dominate games but offers literally nothing when it matters. “He was good against spurs” ya, the game was wide open and we scored 6, when we’ve had right games he does nothing
What are the chances that Murillo just played his way up our tranfer list? With decent scouts I'm sure he was already on it but a performance like that is very impessive... with VVD/Ibou? Fire!
People will see it as Liverpool dropping points but it's actually stopping a Rival getting any. Would a win be better, yes, does it matter, not really.

2-2 with United at home (but hammered them away)
and now 1-1 away with Forest
The only "bad" result of the season was losing at home to forest but I'd argue that's because of Slot playing the South Americans after a international break, before realising the physical demand of the league properly.
I loved slot for this but I won't lie I was worried Lmao ... he is pretty special this man
disappointed to not get Forest back, but not upset. I was upset about the performance against MUFC.
I love Rory
Excellent positivity 😊
I do think we’ll win the league and in order to do that I think we need Jota to start more games now. We need that clinical edge in front of goal.
Didn't manage to see the game, but that corner kick by Tsimikas... was that his first touch too??
Of all the draws, i hate the point loss against ManUre the most...
cheers mate just jinxed it👍🏽❤️
Rory is jinxing Liverpool 24/7!
If they bottled it from here that would be the biggest bottle in premier league history 🤣
That a great point for both clubs
Jota only doesn't start because of injuries, fully fit he starts every single game mate
I wasnt feeling confident in arsenal until this video!
I think our next few games will be so crucial, need to win them. LET'S GO LIVERPOOL!
There is nothing definite here. If we want to win the title, we will have to grind it out every week without fail.
I’m curious to see what slot does when the time comes to rebuild the squad, then we will see how good he actually is
100% Jota will start next game, he's just been easing back from injury, he's in our best 11 and Slot will go back to rotating Diaz/Gakpo on the left
@@KyleD95Diaz on the bench, Gakpo on the pitch.

A handful of good games in September isn’t good enough. He’s barely broken double digits for assists over 4 years and massively underperformed xg, costing us in big games. He’s fine when we dominate games but offers literally nothing when it matters. “He was good against spurs” ya, the game was wide open and we scored 6, when we’ve had right games he does nothing
Jota has had an issue with fitness since he arrived. It would be better to have Jota as a sub for that reason and his finishing ability.
I think you should start jota. He is the type of player who makes big impact. Let Liverpool be up 1-2 goals, and then sub ~60 or 70th minute
Good positive perspective
Does not matter how good you look. If you are getting draws week in week out then you lose the league.
What are the chances that Murillo just played his way up our tranfer list? With decent scouts I'm sure he was already on it but a performance like that is very impessive... with VVD/Ibou? Fire!
Glazing so hard it's almost a parody. And i'm a Pool fan.
Even doe we draw yday I also got that feeling that we will win da league just performance wise
People will see it as Liverpool dropping points but it's actually stopping a Rival getting any. Would a win be better, yes, does it matter, not really.
They drop way too many points
i felt disappointed yesterday because after the equliser we were so dominant but i'll take a draw. still 6 point clear with a game in hand, hope this small slump comes to an end though.
