Except for Yukimiya's tbh. Wtf is a gyro shot lmao. Edit: for the egotards agreeing with the pinecone below, gyro shot isn't a real shot. There're only 4 curveballs: left, right, top and back spin
If you are talking about that goal clip that went viral that looks similar, although it is cool Nagi's goal is wayy more difficult, cause of the control beforehand that doesn't exist in the other goal, I wouldn't call it done tbh, although that only happens with Nagi goals.
yeah, I was thinking that when Coach said it wasn't required. True, it isn't "necessary" but jumping in front of a shot is scary as hell and the best way to make sure you don't reflexively block your face and take a pen is to just hold your hand behind your back
to answer your question about why sae didnt play with the national team until now, it's because he hates japan's way of playing, especially their strikers 😭 he said it all the way back season 1 ep 2 during his first appearance. he'd much rather play overseas (he's currently playing for a club in spain)
@@ElevateYourPowerLevel9000um no, the only reason Sae was in Japan in the first place is because his passport expired and was about to get it renewed before seeing a press conference for the Blue Lock program and he ask the JFA to set up an exhibition match to test out Blue Lock strikers as he’s a midfielder which is why he pick Shidou out of everyone.
The hands behind the back is actually super realistic. Defenders don’t want to give away a hand ball penalty in the box so for safety they do that alot
When you said the defender didnt have to put hand behind back, these days its sad that you have to defend alot with hands behind your back, as rules are becoming more strict and handball in the box means penalty. Its really uncomfortable defending like that and just makes it more difficult, but its being drilled to all players from young age, like i remember when I was 11-12 (6yrs ago) we already were told to try your best to keep hands behind back in boxes in majority of cases. even though it throws balance off at times.
@ always has been, although as said before rules have become like to nit picky, for eg if ball is kicked at hand in close proximity then it wont be counted as handball though recently tbh no one knows whats handball or not anymore due to refs making really bad calls especially with the edition on VAR (Video Assistant Referee) its better to just keep hands behind back since its not worth risking, ive personally been in scenario where I blocked a shot and was on the ground trying to get up and ball hit my hand without me being able to react and we lost 2-1 cos of the Penalty, not much you can do though. Frustrating though
Tbh looking back on Reo and Nagi's relationship. I kind of get the impression that Reo is somewhat vicariously living through Nagi at the start but subconsciously emotionally dependant on Nagi. Nagi is basically a blank slate and used to just roll with whatever Reo wants. But the moment Nagi grows a sense of self and purpose, that relationship shattered. Hence why Reo's reaction was so drastic during the 2nd selection. He prolly feels like their friendship is over cuz their relationship basis is gone and he doesn't know how to deal with it. But after losing to Nagi, Reo got a big wake up call on how he needs to find his own goal and what he actually wants. I think Reo still wants to play with Nagi but in equal footing rather than mooching off of Nagi's natural talents.
Hi coach, Bachira is based off a Brazillian legend called Ronaldinho, he is very very skillful. I recommend you to watch a video of his skills. Sae is left-footed. Like volleyball players who left-handed, it annoys the opposition teams a lot as they are used to stopping right-footed players. Left-footed players are sometimes considered more elegant and sometimes have more powerful shots considered to right-footed players (like Kunigami) Rin is right-footed, he went much more far out and hit it with his weaker left-foot to score, which is considered incredible that the keeper had to react that way to save it. For Sendou and Sai conversation, as a striker myself, I agree with Sai, our main job is to score, the midfield's main job is the engine, if we fail to score, it is our failure, even if it is vs the best goalkeeper in the world. However there is a harsh saying in football that we kinda hate but happens especially with social media. A striker can have the worst game but can score one goal and be praised. A goalkeeper/defender can have the best game, make one mistake, and be labelled as bad or the cause of a bad result (if it becomes a draw or lost). I am more of a Sae fan (maybe I just want someone like Sae to always feed me passes xD) but I love Rin's ego/confidence where he said he will turn the screams into wails. I feel like we need that kind of egoism to lift us to win and to be better, but not overly ego (turning into narcissist). Even overconfidence kills. Sae's second beautiful pass is considered a trivela pass, usually it is a shot (trivela shot, shout out to the king of trivela, Ricardo Quaresma), where he hits the ball on the outside of the foot/boot. Doberman puts his hands behind because if the ball hits his hands in the penalty area, it can be a penalty for Blue Lock under the punishment of handball .Also Isagi is confirmed to be based off Inzaghi, an Italian striker who is even teased by his teammates as having no football ability but during game time, he uses his brain and agility to attack blind spots to score. Rin, I heard from a vid, is based off Del Piero, a striker who is knows for scoring long shots. They are actually even rivals if I am not mistaken, and they played for the same team once (Juventus). Inzaghi then went to another top Italian team, AC Milan, and they faced off even matches in the league. Some say they hated each other but they said there is nothing between them (I need to do more research on this statement) Also, what Nagi said when introducing himself to Japan, it was also said in the end credits of the Nagi Movie
Coach one interesting thing about Sae is he is a left footed player! Like volleyball, people who play soccer with their left are extremely rare and difficult to deal with because they are able to pull off shots and passes others can not
the hands behind the back jump is a legit thing defenders do to avoid hand ball giving a penalty kick. also, every single goal or move you see in this anime so far and what's to come is very much real and has been done in real games by top players.
Defenders put their hands behind their backs to avoid the ball hitting their hands when strikers shoot which is a handball. Even if it’s accidental it will result in a penalty kick which is bad
If you search Ronaldinho Gaucho, he did all the tricks Bachira is doing, and more. I wouldn't call Blue Lock unrealistic. Most goals and tricks I remember exactly the time it was done in real life.
anyone else think the music during Sae's goal was not it. It was like the same tempo and sound and the minute prior and no drop or change, and the song was like calming not something you expect from a goal thats suppose to show Sae's strength to blue lock
Nah, the soundtrack choice there was great in my opinion. The calming music reminds me of Sae’s “beautiful destruction” and how calm of a player he is. It also helps show how easily Sae can destroy the entire Blue Lock team.
Fun fact! Every goal in Blue Lock has been done in real life games before including Nagi's goal!
Except for Yukimiya's tbh. Wtf is a gyro shot lmao.

No it hasn't, this is just a lie made up by tiktok. Nobody has done Nagi's goal and the clip of thr guy doing it is NOTHING like nagi's
It's always the db fans that don't know simple information.
If you are talking about that goal clip that went viral that looks similar, although it is cool Nagi's goal is wayy more difficult, cause of the control beforehand that doesn't exist in the other goal, I wouldn't call it done tbh, although that only happens with Nagi goals.
20:04 Defenders will often do that when defending shots inside the 18 meter box to avoid handballs that would give the opponent a penalty kick

Ohhhh that makes sense. But he could be the one to change that for Japan!

Yes I was thinking that too. That’s probably why Reo has no interest in surpassing Nagi

when he scored nagi said the exact same word that he said in the end of his movie that was so epic
In soccer, defenders often put the hands behind their back because a hand touch, even by accident, would give the other team a penalty kick
Coach one interesting thing about Sae is he is a left footed player! Like volleyball, people who play soccer with their left are extremely rare and difficult to deal with because they are able to pull off shots and passes others can not
Nagi is just incredible
Agreed. I never thought he would be the one to lead the team like his from my first impressions of him
where is mr. glam to talk about that GLAM goal that my boy Nagi just scored?

its common to jump with hands behind your back because that way nobody can even think of trying to argue you touched ball with hand.
Ahh makes sense
20:04 Players have to do that to avoid any penalty due to a handball inside the penalty area.
Yes this music is just like Marvel vs Capcom 2 character selection screen

The theory of nagi rising his hand is because of the gloves that reo give him
Wow great background infu
fav marvel cap on characters are wolverine, Chun Li and Spider-man
Sae is pronounced as Sai
Sae didn't play with the U20 earlier because he thinks Japanese soccer is bad and he plays on Europe clubs
Sae doesn’t play with Japan because they he looks down on them and to him they suck
