I enjoyed seeing your pen collection. I was surprised to see several of my own pens in your collection - though most of them in different colors. I have the Marshmallow Elmo too, and it would also be in my top re-purchase list. Likewise on the list would be my Laban Damask, Pilot Falcon in red with the soft fine nib (love that pen - writes like a dream and the nib looks so cool), and probably two of my Sailors - Autumn Drizzle and the Wicked Witch of the West because I love purple pens too. And thank you for helping me make up my mind about the Retro Buzz pen. I've been trying to decide about buying it. I have the Winnie the Pooh Retro but wanted the Buzz as well and really liked your comments, so that is going to be one of my next pen purchases. Thanks❣

What a nice collection. And possibly a useful/fun exercise. Were I to do it, I would pick one each of the 10 nibs I find most useful:
1. Franklin-Christoph Model 20
2-5. Faber-Castell Neo Slim , , ,
6. TiLiner
7. Sailor Pro Gear Slim Mini
8. Sailor Young Profit
9. Pilot Parallel
10. Waterman 52V
Even better for me would be 15, cause then I could have a "complete" set of my nibs, by adding a Sailor 1911s and four more Pilot Parallels, , , , . And this exercise teaches me that my other 47 active pens are pretty much redundant to this primary set.

This was a fun list! I love the shape of that Franklin Christoph, it’s so different. My favorite of the bunch is that nougat one, but it’s neck and neck with that adorable little bee one. You have a lovely collection. All of them together look like little candy sprinkles, I love it 🥰

I LOVE your pens. 😍 They are gorgeous.!! You have bought several of the pens that I wanted to purchase through the last couple of years, however, I am intending to retire in June so I decided not to purchase them. But…I did cave on the Benu Pens and I love them.! My Lavender & the Glow Purple are 2 of my favorites as well and of course my Kawecos’.!!

The Rokka is so pretty! 😍 It’s no longer readily available, but you never know if you might find one. Perhaps check with Tay at Pens in Asia. I have bought two different rare past pens from him, including my pink VP! Good luck!

I love your choices! I also love that we all felt compelled to come up with our own "rules" that we had to follow when picking pens. 😅🤣
EDIT: Some of the pens on my "I wouldn't repurchase" list are more like, I would buy this same pen but in a different color or different nib size, but I wouldn't repurchase this EXACT pen. However, I think it's excellent that you don't have much like that in your collection!

And you convinced me to do a Would Not Repurchase video. I *might* include a pen or two that I’ve already sold. Like the Lamy 2000. I miss the nib mine had, but I could NOT get along with the metal tapered grip. Even though it is a very grown-up pen, lol. Thank you for watching and commenting! @@MariaRosseau I grip pretty tightly, too, and I just found my grip sliding down towards the nib too much. And I feel like metal sections are just too hard. Which is weird because it’s not like acrylic is soft, it’s just not as hard somehow!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these pens. You mentioned that you move on pens you don’t use much. I have way too many pens and need to sell or donate a bunch of them; mostly inexpensive or moderate cost pens. What have you found to be good places to sell them?

Hi Michael, thank you so much! I usually start by sharing on my Instagram stories. If I don’t get any bites, I’ll move on to one of three places: Virtual Pen Show on Instagram is wonderful. You just send them your photos and details and they post for you. It only costs a few dollars to list items. I’ve never had an issue with buying or selling through IG - the pen community tends to be wonderful people!
Sometimes for whatever reason I will list pens on Mercari or eBay. Mercari is great for posting quickly and simply. If you’ve never used eBay, I’d say use Mercari first. eBay is good sometimes, too, especially for collectors items. It’s hard to pinpoint when I use which method, but I’ve had great success from all of them!
Be careful on Virtual Pen Show, because temptation abounds! Lol. Thanks for stopping by!
