I'm a middle school tech engineering teacher and my kiddos have been BEGGING me to 3D their tinker cad creations. Just ordered the M5C and videos like yours really help!
Hi QD Crafts! It's so great to see that you're getting into 3D printing, it's a really awesome world to discover and it's great that you're sharing it with the community 😀. The Ankermake software is really cool, it's one of the few that give basically perfect results with little to no setting changes. About supports it's generally just dependent on the overhang angle. If there are faces of the model that for example have angles lower than around 45 degrees to the build plate it's generally recommended to use supports, I think u can find the settings for adjusting the values in the advanced menu. Other than that, it was an awesome video, looking forward to more 🙂
The Pikachu that you printed with tree supports appears to be printed with a "Raft". Rafts are great for bed adhesion but leave a terrible texture on whatever it's in contact with. Just disable Raft and go with skirt or brim for bed adhesion.
Hey Vic this is so cool! The mario pipes were a good first project for you to make! Looks cool and its multi-purpose lol Would you be getting more filaments or do you want to finish the yellow and green ones first?
She didn't. Those are Amiibo from Nintendo that she had. That being said there are ways to do it if the STL file is set to do it or by pausing between colors and swapping filament.
This 3d printer is a huge flop! Lack of a good slicer is a big shot in the foot. There is no offline anything with the m5c which is a joke. The app is completely useless and the files on the app are very few and arent all stl files so you cant directly print 90 percent of those files.. The slicer will tell you 10 hour print and turn into 15 hour print somehow while printing. The fact that the company's on website lies about its own features should be enough to scare anyone away from buying this. And for the price, you can get many different 3d printers that utilize more types of filaments and have some sort of upgrade so your printer can do all the things you want with 10x better slicer. And the m5 is an even bigger joke with a camera that does nothing... I wouldnt recommend this to any entry-level person either because that's just predatory to suggest a bad product to someone who doesn't know any better.
I got two of these for 350 us when someone upgraded to bamboo labs. It’s not the best, but it’s better than creality by far. As far as the slicer, you can use other slicers to make your gcode if you can’t use theirs.

Hi
How.do.u.print an object that has lots of colors
oh I don't know how they do that! I'm still learning how to print just one colour :D
B6 a more expensive printer that can hold multiple rolls of pla and has the power to print multicolor
@@End_PKD Or some prints have instructions for when to pause a print to swap colors.
