Despite all other opinions, i can agree with Sophia's induction. That poor baby girl would have had a hard life. In that society, kids in single parent homes are bullied and humiliated. Yes, she would have had love at home, but what guarantee would there be in a good life, even after childhood? Sophia made a hard choice. Maybe if she knew it was a girl instead of a boy, she might have kept it, but there are no guarantees. It's almost even worse if she gave it up for adoption or sent her to an orphanage. William is to blame for it all. He even had a sexual relationship with his baby mama. He proved himself unworthy. He didn't test that kid's dna? Yep, he's a simp. He's just as bad, if not worse, than his dad. His granny was pretty bad, too. She never had sympathy for Sophia. Everyone got what they deserved. William left without any heirs/kids. He can explain to his unborn daughter what a true acumbag he is, but he's probably going somewhere hotter than the paradise the baby went to. Sophia will always live thinking of her baby. She truly loved her but couldn't keep her. She'll find someone new and have kids, but the unborn baby will always count in her heart. Just remember, " There's no such thing as a lying drunk." William proved that.

William cheated but Sophia commited murder. Sophia in the wrong, william should have divorced right away.
I'm fine with abortions but that was a fully formed human...? Is it even legal to abort a fully formed child? Inducing premature labour would have been better than this.
If Sophia had
A. Give the Child for adoption - Willaim could have found his daughter and would have full custody and sole parental rights of the child. Sophia can move to a different city/country and live her life.
Or
She could have been adopted by someone else.
B. Leave with her child -
Collect evidence of Williams infidelity, threaten Williams with exposing the evidence and make him agree to the divorce and accept her terms. One of which could be sole custody of their child and move away.
The two scenarios will happen because William still did not know that his mistress was not faithful to him and his 'son' isn't his and would want to shield him from being involved in a scandal and therefore would agree to whatever Sophia demands.
But no Sophia killed her baby herself and has the audacity to 'woe is me' when she could have chosen any other option that is more ethical and moral and easier.
Whatever stuff happened after that would not have been her responsibility but because of her choices she is partially responsible and honestly is a monster.
Not for her revenge or others reaction to her indifference and apathy but her absolute ruthlessness to her own child.
You can't decide someone's life and death for the 'greater good' especially if they are innocent. Therefore it is not her place to kill her child when just a few months later the child could have been born and who knows might have been adopted by a loving family or something. Fetuses nearing five months do feel pain so her child felt pain as it was killed. For that Sophia is a monster
