"I started working on Lyme disease in 1985. As part of my doctoral thesis, I investigated whether museum specimens of ticks and mice contained evidence of infection with the bacterial agent of Lyme disease prior to the first known American human cases in the mid 1970s.
Working with microbiologist David Persing, we found that ticks from the South Fork of Long Island collected in 1945 were infected. Subsequent studies found that mice from Cape Cod, collected in 1896, were infected.

Plum Island Animal Disease Center was at the forefront of U.S. biological-weapons research, (1954-2024). Located on an 840-acre island at the entrance to Long Island Sound. In 1975, the nearby town of Lyme, Connecticut, became the epicenter of a strange, tick-borne illness. Google Maps show that the closest mainland town to Plum Island is Lyme, Connecticut, where the initial cases of B. burgdorferi were identified in the 1975-76 timeframe.

In 2000, I brought in a deer tick to my doc and showed him the bullseye rash it left on my back. He tested me for lyme disease and the test was negative so I received no treatment. - fast forward now it is 2010 and I have been getting sicker and sicker for each year over the ten year period - I am seeing multiple doctors, receiving multiple diagnosis but nobody can tell with certainty what is causing my severe fatigue and pain until I come across what is known as a Lyme Literate Doctor. She had studied in Germany as well as under Patch Adams. While in Germany she learned about how inaccurate the U.S. test for lymes disease under CDC guidelines. The illness is now fully politically seized, most doctors refuse to believe in the diagnosis of late stage or chronic lyme disease, and the CDC website list it as sexually transmittable one day and removes that data the next. For 25 years now I have known that my own government poisoned me and many others and are still covering it up. You cannot imagine how grateful I am that anyone is still interested in our plight. I've suffered with PTLDS, Post Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (formerly Chronic Lyme Disease, but this includes those who've never had Lyme Disease) for more than 15 years.
I found I had Lyme Disease when awakening with Belle's Palsy, after several days of feeling great, after feeling very sick for a week, almost going to the ER, until feeling fine again.
Then the Belle's Palsy happened, I was found to have Lyme Disease and given antibiotics for a month. I felt my very active lifestyle still, but the Belle's Palsy persisted for 3 years.
After caring for my grandparents in my hometown of Ithaca, NY(where I caught Lyme Disease), until they passed away(Gramps made it to 100 years old!), and I moved back to Austin, TX, where I'd lived for six years prior.
Felt great and plenty of energy, like I've always had my entire life, but still had the Belle's Palsy from Lyme Disease.
Around 3-4 years, I felt great, yet still had Belle's Palsy..?!
Then I suddenly started feeling very fatigued, and had several other strange effects, like constant tinnitus, and seeing maybe ten "floaters" in each eye..?!
Nothing from an ear and eye specialist. Just "nothing to worry about", I was told.
Then, when first finding UA-cam over a decade ago, I found a video on "Chronic Lyme Disease", and this man was experiencing every strange effect I was.
Eventually, I had to get on Disability. No Lyme Disease experts here to diagnose it, so I was given disability for "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome".
That's probably the biggest problem after always having wanting to work or keep busy through life, naturally. I always had to keep busy.
Now I feel apathetic, with little joy. Like I'm 3% of who I was at my best. Hate drama, but Comedy and these interesting times, keeps me going.
I've heard Ibogaine has cured this, as well as MS(which my mom died of in 99'), and Parkinson's Disease, which has really given me hope.
I learned about this on a Joe Rogan Experience episode with guest Rick Perry (which most I know here in Texas avoided, as he was an ex Governor, lol), who speaks about getting this plant medicine made safely in Texas, mostly.
It's the other guest I hadn't heard of and he spoke mainly on what may be the most healing, medicinal substance ever yet found, and the incredible work they're doing at a certain professional treatment center in Tijuana.
I highly recommend this JRE episode. It's mind blowing what this amazing plant medicine has been accomplishing!
It was exactly what I needed to see, and highly recommend to anyone interested. I'll edit this in the morning with the episode number.
Thanks so much for the incredible info around Plumb Island. I highly appreciate it
Forgive my rambling, please, if anyone made it this far.👌🫡

“The U.S. staged more than 200 domestic tests aimed at assessing national vulnerabilities to biological warfare.”
“In 1953 the Chemical Corps created the St Jo Program and operatives staged mock anthrax attacks on St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Winnipeg. The bacteria were released from generators placed on top of cars, and local governments were told that “invisible smokescreen[s]” were being deployed to mask the city on enemy radar. The next stage was to increase dispersal patterns, dispensing particles from airplanes to find out how wide of an area they would affect. The first Large Area Concept experiment, in 1957, involved dispersing microorganisms over a swath from South Dakota to Minnesota; monitoring revealed that some of the particles eventually traveled some 1200 miles away. Further tests covered areas from Ohio to Texas and Michigan to Kansas. In the Army’s words, these experiments “proved the feasibility of covering large areas of the country with [biological weapons] agents.”

In 1965 they spread bacteria throughout Washington’s National Airport; a year later, agents dropped light bulbs filled with organisms onto the tracks in New York’s subway system. “I think it spread pretty good,” participant Wally Pannier later said, “because you had a natural aerosol developed every few minutes from every train that went past.” President Nixon’s 1969 termination of the United States offensive biological weapons program brought an end to the open-air testing, but the American public did not learn of this testing until 1977.“

Yeah, I got bit by what I think was a Lone Star tick last summer. You really have to look out for the really tiny ones. This one was a nymph. So small you couldn't even tell it was a tick without using a magnifying glass and even then, difficult to see. I guess Lone Star doesn't carry Lyme, but, other diseases. I got a good sized welt from that small tick that lasted for months and still have a mark on my back. I thought it was a small scab but scraped it off with my fingernail because I thought it could be a tick since I had been doing a lot of yard work at that time. This is in the Chicago area. I went to urgent care, but, they didn't even test for it. They just give you the antibiotics. They only test if you get symptoms.

I do think he generally cares & politicians serve the people and should look out for the general well-being of the people that they try to represent. Our government is a total circus these days & it's hard to take anything they say seriously for several various reasons. Maybe some issues that the US government argues against, and attempts and to cover up have good reason to be discussed more openly, and re-evaluated every now and then? This is common sense & pragmatic thinking, & is something that a lot of folks in this country are losing the ability to do for themselves because of education being devalued & university's getting turned into assembly lines all for profit. Let's agree to disagree, you can't be right all the time, and you can't learn from past mistakes when important information is being consistently being redacted from the public's attention and understanding. "You are not immune to propaganda"

I have a lot of outdoorsy friends in the NE U.S. and know over a dozen people + close family members who's lives have been made substantially worse by Lyme disease. Chronic fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, and more - for life. I worked at a wilderness summer camp last summer and ticks were a huge threat. Lyme disease makes it very difficult for people to enjoy the outdoors - you essentially have to stay on trails and out of tall grass, use protective clothing, and do daily tick checks in most of the country. We deserve real answers on the origin of Lyme disease. This happened decades ago and there are presumably no major effects on national security from being honest with the American People at this point.

Over the next 4 or 5 years I came down with the disease at least 3 if not 4 times again, twice again being severe. So many of my friends, neighbors and family were sick with this terrible illness, many of us not diagnosed until Lyme progressed to the 'round 2' ravage and our bodies started shutting down.
To think our government's "health" ageny was likely responsible is infuriating.
