  • Having previously owned a quad lock system, I recently put the Ultimate Addons case to the test on a tour in France. Join me and listen to my honest thoughts on this system, and if it is a quad lock beater or not.

I'm probably going to buy a Quad Lock mount soon.
Might get their smart USB adaptor and wireless charger too.

I would also take the quadlock, but unfortunately I dont have a choice cuz ultimate addons is the only one who makes 10mm fork stem mount😢

Anything wet and muddy you go ultimate addon. Especially on green lanes

I would definitely agree for green laning and the muddy stuff, especially as you're not likely to need to take it as often as on the road.
For road touring though, it's just a pain in the backside and why I reverted back to quad lock!

I can use my phone in the case just fine, as long as you set up the phone to unlock by double tapping the screen and things like this you'll never need to access the buttons on the side of the phone :)

I've got one and agree with everything you say, it's an expensive pain in the arse and only really suitable for sat nav use.

It's a shame really as I had high hopes for it. But in practice it was far too much of a ball ache to use.

@@ukveganbikers Also having to open the case to unlock/swipe screen means rain can get in which then mists up when you are riding along...
